There are lots of trendy cafes where students can study and socialise, and you will never be stuck finding a place to eat. Manchester is packed full of unique places to grab a bite, such as the famous “Curry Mile”,  and Chinatown, as well as a huge selection of independent eateries and street food vendors. 

There’s always lots going on in Manchester, with number clubs, music and performance venues throughout the city. If you’d rather get outside, Heaton park offers beautiful scenery, as well as a boating lake and animal farm.
