What are the top reasons for choosing Artisan Heights?
We spoke to Unite Students to find out more:
1. Artisan Heights was new for 2020.
2. It is centrally located with both Manchester Metropolitan University and the University of Manchester a quick 15-minute walk away.
3. Artisan Heights is next to Oxford Road train station, offering easy access to Manchester’s diverse range of restaurants, bars and nightlife.
4. There is a fantastic range of social spaces to enjoy, including a common room with comfortable seating and plenty of space to socialise with your friends.
Rooms:
Artisan Heights offers a range of modern en-suite and studio rooms. Choose to stay in an en-suite room and share a kitchen with 9 other flatmates or opt to stay in a studio where you can enjoy having your own private kitchen. In your room, you’ll have a bathroom to yourself, plus storage space and a handy study desk.
The accommodation is in a great location, the social spaces are superb and staff are excellent. The maintenance and cleaning of the building is amazing. The only fault is how expensive the same room is next year, which is far too much. I also hope that academic year stays could be requested, so I don't have to pay for a room over summer that I will not use.

excellent helpful and friendly staff. Bit expensive for what it is, rooms could be bigger. An outside amenity could be a nice addition to the building

Hi, thank you for taking the time to review Artisan Heights, we are pleased that you are enjoying your stay. Your lovely comments will be passed on to the team!
Remmi and Eric are great staff and we can always go to them for help and advice and they keep us safe at night. However the price for it is over priced for it. The maintenance staff also takes ages to fix things.

Thank you so much for taking the time to review us. Your opinion is valued greatly, and it helps us maintain an excellent standard of service to our residents. I’ve passed your feedback about Remmi and Ercic on to our Building Manager and know they’ll be thrilled to hear about the excellent service you received. I have also passed on your feedback to the maintaince department. Many Thanks
Rooms are small for the price and the social side isn’t the best but most of the staff are amazing, especially Eric and the facilities management is on point.

Thank you for taking the time to review your experience. I’m sorry to hear that your experience didn’t meet our standards and we’re grateful for the feedback! We want to make sure all our guests have a relaxing, enjoyable time in all our locations. I’ve passed your feedback about Eric on to our Building Manager and know they’ll be thrilled to hear about the excellent service you received.

Really nice accomodation, feels very clean, really nice views but in terms of social life it’s not got the most fun people here.

Really good experience, a lot for the money especially during cost of living but very good location. Very helpful and friendly staff. Tania especially as she’s was amazing with sorting a some issues I was finding stressful.

This accommodation is highly overpriced for what it is- I am currently paying £190 per week. I'm in a classic ensuite room and the first thing I said when I walked into my room the first time was how small it was. The photos make it look the rooms look much bigger than what they actually are. The location is handy but other MMU accommodations such as Cambridge and Cavendish are only a further 5 minute walk away from city centre. Oxford Road train station being literally on the doorstep has been very handy for me personally as I can get a train directly to the airport from this station in under 30 minutes for when I fly home. The staff are pretty much clueless and can be quite rude, there's not enough washers for the capacity of the building and nearly half of them are not working all the time anyway and when you go to reception they have no idea how to fix them. Other accommodations offer more or less the same thing for much cheaper. Don't waste your money on this place.

I’ve passed your feedback about your stay to our Building Manager and will continue to review out internal processes to prevent an experience like this reoccuring. Kind Regards
Great rooms and social areas, very convenient location but the people are not always great.
