The StudentCrowd Story #
StudentCrowd was started in 2015 by three graduates who were frustrated with the lack of real and helpful information about aspects of their student experience. University prospectuses were hard to tell apart, with each one featuring a quote along the lines of “I’ve had the best time of my life at {insert university name here}”.
The days of “cherry-picked student quotes” are over#
StudentCrowd was formed in response to the gut belief that students who are researching university want to hear from current students about every part of university life.
All the choice#
We were determined to bring together all the relevant information about the student experience in one place, together with verified student reviews. StudentCrowd is the only platform with:

Students helping each other#
Students want to share their stories, and give their best tips to someone just starting out. They know better than most how rewarding and challenging university can be. Ultimately, they are the best people to ask about what it is really like.
Each student is unique#
University life is such a unique experience and each student needs to find the right place for them, whether that's the right university, course, part of town or social life. Individual and independent student reviews give you the information to make your own decisions.

Meet the Team #
We have come a long way since the early days in 2014. Today, we have a diverse team of student champions and skilled experts. Our team is spread across 3 different continents in our distributed work model and we love this way of working. We can recruit the best people from across the globe. People can work from home, minimising wasted travel-to-work time. It gives us the flexibility to do the things we love, whether that is having an adventure in another country for a year, living by the beach and slowing the pace of life, or having space to look after family. We want everyone who works for us to live life to the full whatever that looks like.
