Is it really free to request a room?
Yes! StudentCrowd doesn’t charge students to request a room. No fees, no deposits, no catches.
Will I still book directly with the provider?
Yes – we help you start the process by passing your request to the provider, who handles the booking from there.
What happens after I submit a request?
The provider receives your details and gets in touch to help you complete the booking. They'll hold the room while you do.
Can the provider decline my request?
Sometimes, yes – if the room is no longer available, the price has changed, or specific requests can’t be fulfilled. However, we do our best to keep our data as up-to-date as possible.
What if I don’t hear back?
We ask providers to respond within two working days. If they don't, your request will expire, and you can either try again or choose a new property.
Is my personal information safe?
Yes - we only share your details with the provider once your request has been accepted, and only to help them complete your booking.
