decent university with good facilities

We are really proud of all of the facilities that we have on offer here for our students. We have two great 24 hour libraries, as well as great social and study spaces for all of our students. SHU is the best university in Shedfield. It is close to the town centre and the train and bus station. Also the people there are very hospitable and make you feel at home.

We love both of our campuses and how close they are to the city centre. Our City campus is right in the heart of town and is next to the train and bus station which is great for all of our students, especially our commuter students! We have over 80 great student led societies which are really popular as there is something for everyone! i really enjoy coming to uni and have made quite a few friends here despite being very introverted. the lecturers are all very nice and the campus is a nice place to be.

Okay experience but nothing special

The course is good and the university too. Feels like the year has been good pretty fast. But overall the experience has been life changing till findig my way though.

The perfect accommodation for students with friendly atmosphere and receptions

I'm having a great experience here. It's a good property

Our student union often puts on ‘give it a go’ events where students can try new things and meet new people. We have been to places such as Alton Towers, Sheffield Steelers ice hockey matches and other cities like London. We love both of our campuses too, and how close they are to the city centre. There are many events that happen at this accomodation which brings everyone together. I feel safe at this accomodation and have made lots of amazing friends.

Friendly university with wide range of support for students in all walks of life and at all stages of their studies

Student union isnt great other than the panned trips, barely any societies
I love it at sheffield hallam, really good choice for anyone thinking about it and very hey make everything very accessible and easy to rather than some places who seem to purposely make things harder.

It's a greatt uni to study at. The buildings are very close to city centre which makes it easy to get to and from places.

it’s just banging to be honest it’s reyt good
I've been living here for months and I like the place, the people are very nice and it's a good life. Overall, I recommend this residence to anyone coming to study in Sheffield. My favorite staff member of The Pinnacles is TJ.

Every building is close and within walking distance of the town centre

Our Collegiate campus is close to town too and is located on Ecclesall Road which is a popular student area with lots to do. Location excellent with helpful staff

I hope all of your other years here have been just as great! We love all of our accommodation options and we have some great choices for our students. We have a range of options and different price points so we can make sure we have something which suits everyone. All of our halls are close to at least one of our campuses, and our website has detailed information on how far away they are to each campus on foot! All of our halls are staffed by our lovely Hallam team and we make sure all students feel happy and safe here. Good environment, albeit sometimes too packed in study areas. Wifi is almost always good, just sometimes it can go off completely. Student Union I haven't interacted with much but they spam me with emails...

My university experience was affected by covid during my first couple years, the second half was filled with strike days which was almost more than half my time in the university for that term. Some staff were very good though always going the extra way to help when you needed it.

it’s a good uni campus but i would really enjoy seeing more societies such as an A-capella society

Our clubs and societies cover a huge range of interests in culture, active hobbies, creative arts, politics, and volunteer projects. We are very proud of all of our facilities and what we can offer our students. We have a 24 hour library on both of our campuses, as well as loads of study and social areas. We also have great course specific facilities such as our moot court and labs. Our tutors work so hard to ensure that every student learns a lot here and is happy and confident in their work. Close to every activity that you could think off

Our city campus is right in the middle of town, close to both the train and bus station which is really convenient and also close by to everything in town. Sheffield Hallam Univetsity provides excellent facilities across its broad campus with fantastic hardware availability in the library as well as a large library collection. The internet connection is great across the entire university.

Excellent university with many facilities

The University changes class time table with very short notice like less than 24 hours notice which affects students other plans not thinking about students who have to travel from far distances.. Setting Classes time tables on Friday not thinking about Muslim Students who goes to Mosque for Friday Jumna Prayers, Students who works part time on Friday and Saturday yet leaving completely empty no classes at all on Wednesday and Thursday.
Great university. Fits to all learning types and has great learning facilities. The WiFi is quite complex to connect to. I haven't been able to connect to it so I've had to rely on mobile data and hotspot

Great uni however the wifi won’t let me connect and I’ve been here for over a year
