University is good. But time table for classes is not friendly

It’s a great uni with nice and clean buildings

Great facilities, but library compared to accommodation WiFi could be improved, also the dell computers could be updated :)

We pride ourselves on both of our campuses and the great range of facilities that we can provide - we have two 24 hour libraries, laptops and computers to rent and great course specific facilities such as our moot court and labs. City Campus Owen is a great place to study

All good and excellent here at bramall court and I will recommend your services any day
I am now in my final year and can say I’ve definitely loved my experience here. I’ve got to interact with many people, from local students, other internationals students, my lecturers and staff member. Definitely recommend working as Hallam Student Community Leader which helped pave many brilliant opportunities. I got to support/attend many events here which helped with my personal development. Also have to give a shout out to the career connect staff members as they really do put out many helpful events like cv and cover letter drop in session, spring career fair and many more. Last but not least, I also love the calm and green environment here compared to crowded cities. Sheffield definitely was the choice for a great university experience.

They have so many events for students to participate out of University and everything is there at on stop be it for volunteering, job or just for socialising.

WiFi is good in some places and awful in others

Good university with career prospects

Big campus in the city centre. Lots of student society choices.

The campus is nice and buildings are easy to find are quite close together. The Student Union doesn't really seem to be used much i think that could be improved. But overall the University is great.

University could be a place for a person to thrive if they are willing. Some of us who enjoy the quieter life don't see it as a place where I can thrive as myself.

This is a great university in a great city with lots of guidance and support. Professors are very knowledgeable and helpful. The student union for SHU is not used so could definitely be improved on. Connecting to the WiFi is very easy, only need to do it once and counts over the entire campus. Collegiate campus is such a lovely campus and has trees and flowers which it makes it look gorgeous all year round. I am a sport student and the equipment is top notch, and able to access and use at any time with a booking

Our tutors are always there to help students out and make sure they are confident in all of their work. If you ever have a question they are there to answer them! We are so proud of both of our campuses and love both our collegiate and city campuses. They both have a great range of social and study spaces available for students, as well as libraries and plenty of rooms and computers to book and use. decent university with good facilities

SHU is the best university in Shedfield. It is close to the town centre and the train and bus station. Also the people there are very hospitable and make you feel at home.

i really enjoy coming to uni and have made quite a few friends here despite being very introverted. the lecturers are all very nice and the campus is a nice place to be.

Okay experience but nothing special

The course is good and the university too. Feels like the year has been good pretty fast. But overall the experience has been life changing till findig my way though.

Our student union often puts on ‘give it a go’ events where students can try new things and meet new people. We have been to places such as Alton Towers, Sheffield Steelers ice hockey matches and other cities like London. We love both of our campuses too, and how close they are to the city centre. We love both of our campuses and where they are located. City campus is right in the heart of town, close to both the train station and bus stations, which is always handy for students . There are many events that happen at this accomodation which brings everyone together. I feel safe at this accomodation and have made lots of amazing friends.

We also recently were awarded TEF gold for our teaching standard, which is a great achievement and a testament to our tutors. Every student has access to an academic advisor too, who they can go to if they need any support or help with their work. Student union isnt great other than the panned trips, barely any societies
I love it at sheffield hallam, really good choice for anyone thinking about it and very hey make everything very accessible and easy to rather than some places who seem to purposely make things harder.

It's a greatt uni to study at. The buildings are very close to city centre which makes it easy to get to and from places.

it’s just banging to be honest it’s reyt good
I've been living here for months and I like the place, the people are very nice and it's a good life. Overall, I recommend this residence to anyone coming to study in Sheffield. My favorite staff member of The Pinnacles is TJ.

Every building is close and within walking distance of the town centre

Our city campus is right in the heart of town, close to the train and bus station and a short walk to the shops. Our Collegiate campus is close to town too and is located on Ecclesall Road which is a popular student area with lots to do. I hope all of your other years here have been just as great! We love all of our accommodation options and we have some great choices for our students. We have a range of options and different price points so we can make sure we have something which suits everyone. All of our halls are close to at least one of our campuses, and our website has detailed information on how far away they are to each campus on foot! All of our halls are staffed by our lovely Hallam team and we make sure all students feel happy and safe here. Good environment, albeit sometimes too packed in study areas. Wifi is almost always good, just sometimes it can go off completely. Student Union I haven't interacted with much but they spam me with emails...

My university experience was affected by covid during my first couple years, the second half was filled with strike days which was almost more than half my time in the university for that term. Some staff were very good though always going the extra way to help when you needed it.
