Rockingham House Biography
Rockingham House offers excellent student accommodation in a city centre location in Sheffield. The University of Sheffield is just a 12-minute walk away and Sheffield Hallam University is an 18-minute walk. The accommodation is conveniently located close to supermarkets, shops, restaurants, bars and clubs.
Rockingham House offers great value for money ensuite rooms and there are 5 types to choose from. The rooms are all in cluster flats of 4 or 6 people, with a kitchen and living space shared between flatmates. So, you can cook up a storm together or just chill out after a long day at university. Each room is fully furnished and comes with a comfy bed, plenty of storage space and a study area with a desk and chair.
There are great extra features which make student life that little bit easier including on-site laundry facilities, secure bike storage and a large communal study room. When you fancy some fresh air there is an outdoor courtyard where you can enjoy a BBQ with friends. There’s also an on-site team to lend a hand whenever you need it, as well as CCTV and secure fob entry to make you feel safe and comfortable.

As our accommodation is cluster flats, where you share the kitchen/lounge area with your flat mates, this is an ideal place to make new, and possibly, lifelong friends. I have lived with RC for 2 years ( 3rd year soon), and I can say that it’s the best accommodation I have ever lived! It has everything you have with a very acceptable price! 1. It has a perfect location, it nears the Diamond, IC, most schools, Co-op, a Chinese store and Anytime fitness! 2. It’s a vary cosy place! The layout and equipment might not be fancy (because of its low price), but it gives you a sense of warm, with a little personal decoration , you can surely make it your home! 3. The staff are extremely friendly and are happy to help you always. I have so mush fun living here, and I can guarantee it values for money!

The accommodation looks like it does in the pictures which is always helpful. It is a nice, quiet place to live in a fantastic location. It's an easy 15 minute walk to Uni Of and just off of West Street for pubs and clubs. I had a small problem with the first flat I moved into as the communal kitchen was not being kept to an acceptable clean level but the Property Manager went above and beyond to move me into a more suitable one. All of the staff there are so lovely and always happy to help. I can't fault it one bit.

A very good accommodation with perfect location (near the Diamond) and cheaper than other accommodation in same area.
The environment is comfortable and suitable for study. The room is very quiet and the staff is very nice and responsible.
