Teachers are responsible, and schools have a lot of activities to help them find jobs after graduation.

although the virus are quite serious，I still experience the campus life quite well and the excellent teaching quality

The University of Sheffield has always done a great job in accommodating students in their studies and life experiences. They offer great library spaces and have many wonderful departmental buildings. It's possible to walk easily from one to the next.
Uni still got a lot to do in regards to making student life exceptional. I think Sheffield Hallam does a lot more financial and health support than Sheffield uni. Overall, Sheffield uni is getting there, just not as quick as I hoped

The University of Sheffield has a city campus with a lot of beautiful, architectural buildings. The Students Union is one of the best from all the Universities.
Not great, rather disorganised. It's very hard to find any information/navigate the online platforms/do anything basically. Staff acts like they want to help but end up not knowing what to do or not doing anything. Very disappointing for this much money.

The uni is great! HOWEVER... I lived with a company called NOBLE DESIGN & BUILD, and it was the worst place ever! The building was full of people who definitely didn’t work or study, always blasting music and the entire building smelt of drugs! Things were never fixed, the lift was always out, fire alarms going off every other day, and they were REALLY loud, and worst of all, when I moved out they threatened to sue me because I didn’t feel safe enough to stay there any longer!!!
I lived at Portland Tower and loved being able to work in the amazing Diamond all the time!
One of the most underrated city in the UK. Excellent nightlife, lovely people, and a beautiful national park at your doorstep. The university offers a large variety of courses, with teaching from some of the world's top researchers, and access to world-class facilities. There is an array of great societies to chose from, and the student's union is one of the best, and nicest, in the UK. The student area is safe, lively, and has lots of great local pubs in and around the area. Didn't meet anyone at university who disliked Sheffield.
Great accommodation with the friendliest receptionists who are always available to help. The night owls are always open to converse and help as well. It is close to the university and the city centre. They made sure we were comfortable and safe during the lockdown. 100% would definitely recommend.

Downright awful from start to finish. I am Jewish. I faced anti-Semitic verbal abuse from day one. I was spat at for being Jewish. I had a Labour Party student activist shout at me, "Hitler was right about you Yids." He then did a Nazi salute. I had a ham sandwich thrown at me. I reported this and more racist abuse to my tutor. He just laughed. I took it higher. They did nothing. Sheffield University is a nest bed of socialist anti-Semitism. I am not the first Jew to suffer anti-Semitic abuse at Sheffield University. Sadly, I won't be the last. I would strongly advise all Jewish students to avoid Sheffield University like the plague. It is a grotesque, hideous university, run by leftist anti-Semites for leftist anti-Semites.

Good university, and good staff
I never thought I could fall in love with a place as much as I have with Sheffield. I am currently in my second year and having the best time. The students union has the best nights out and its great because you see everyone you know. There's so many clubs and societies to get involved in and it really feels like one big community. I couldn't recommend Sheffield enough

Great university with very helpful lecturers. The Diamond is a 24/7 building that allows us student to utilize and work on assignments. Classes may be scattered across the city and parts of the places requires walking uphills.
