The location is excellent and life is convenient. There are several supermarkets nearby. The apartment is well sanitary and well served by the staff

The University of Sheffield is a good university and the Law school is also good.
I study EEE at the university. I regularly am in the Engineering buildings and was in the maths building for those classes. The diamond whilst may have some state of the art facilities eg clean room, however the maths department was not the nicest place to study and was always freezing. There are lots of clubs to join so people should be able to find something. The SU does put on weekly club nights and cinema viewings as well as having some very good outlets. However, in 2020 I feel it did nothing to stick up for students, our fees were not reduced as they should have been and they were more concerned about making themselves look good with excessive COVID precautions ie 5m apart plus masks and no heating so it was freezing. I think the SU ignores the needs of most people. I have never used the career service so I cannot comment. The WiFi however will drop out in certain building whilst studying.
Everything is perfect. Everyone here is very nice.
the campus provides several resources for international students to improve their academic writing and English skills. The professors are friendly.
This student house is very spacious,cheap and includes electricity,water,internet and free breakfast on Friday

I like the living environment here very much, especially the study area in public areas, which is very quiet and comfortable. The front desk staff are also very patient and have a good attitude.
It is very close to the school, living very comfortable, downstairs is the Chinese supermarket. The security guard at the front desk is very safe and patient, and the sister at the Chinese front desk is very kind and gentle

Good study environment for the student
Love the Sheffield living environment. The lower prices are very attractive. Living is convenient, the campus is located in the city center, within walking distance.
It is a nice place to live and the staff is very nice and, also there are lots of people that I can play with, there are nice kitchen and common areas, I can study and play some games with my friends

A memorable year spent at the school. The University of Sheffield is undoubtedly an excellent school. Both in terms of the standard of teaching, the teachers, the facilities and the care for the mental health of the students.
Overall my master was good, I was able to find a job before finishing.
Management school is really far from the city centre. Tutors and professors are pretty nice.

My time at Sheffield for my MA has been a really fun experience, I did my BA at a different uni that I really enjoyed, but the people in Sheffield, both at uni and that live here are really friendly. As someone who lives alone during term time, this really makes all the difference. The lecturers in the History department are incredibly supportive and helpful for essay writing and exploring academic ideas.

Great facilities and student’s union
Sheffield university has been my place of study for 4 years and it's perfect for me. The close proximity to city accomodation nightlife and university lectures is amazing and the sport clubs are great too
