the teacher here is kind and the environment in Sheffield is good
The university could provide me with a range of support. My first impression came from the South East Asia university representative who helped me with my application document. Then, during the quarantine in 2021, the university could also support me (and other students) with financial support. Apart from that, the support for overseas/international students is also superb! I really impressed by the additional language courses they provided (and yes, they were all free!). The facilities were also excellent. I really love the libraries we had where they normally operated 24/7!
Good teacher, good classmates, good position, good environment
My experience for our university is overall very good. I am very happy that the university has lots of places to study and to hang out. The libraries are also very useful for me.
Need more opportunities to introduce career in every field. It’s a bit hard to get a job

I love my experience at the university as it provides all the needs of a student academically or non-academically. So many facilities on campus and student help desks and career services are available. Lecturers and staff are very cooperative and professional.
All the facilities of university are excellent however career services would be great if provided face to face placement.

The university's top-notch student support services are the first thing that come to my mind. Throughout my time at uni, I've had the chance to participate in a variety of activities. During group assignments and times when I had to meet deadlines, I found it helpful to reserve study spaces.

There’s loads of societies and clubs to choose from, guaranteed you’ll find something for you interests. Staff are friendly especially when it comes to careers, very supportive when it came to placement searches and grad jobs. It is a city uni so it is lectures can be a bit scattered but all the while you get to se a range of buildings and facilities, old and new.
Not bad as it is a top one hundred university.

The location is excellent and life is convenient. There are several supermarkets nearby. The apartment is well sanitary and well served by the staff

The University of Sheffield is a good university and the Law school is also good.
I study EEE at the university. I regularly am in the Engineering buildings and was in the maths building for those classes. The diamond whilst may have some state of the art facilities eg clean room, however the maths department was not the nicest place to study and was always freezing. There are lots of clubs to join so people should be able to find something. The SU does put on weekly club nights and cinema viewings as well as having some very good outlets. However, in 2020 I feel it did nothing to stick up for students, our fees were not reduced as they should have been and they were more concerned about making themselves look good with excessive COVID precautions ie 5m apart plus masks and no heating so it was freezing. I think the SU ignores the needs of most people. I have never used the career service so I cannot comment. The WiFi however will drop out in certain building whilst studying.

I like the living environment here very much, especially the study area in public areas, which is very quiet and comfortable. The front desk staff are also very patient and have a good attitude.
It is very close to the school, living very comfortable, downstairs is the Chinese supermarket. The security guard at the front desk is very safe and patient, and the sister at the Chinese front desk is very kind and gentle

Love the Sheffield living environment. The lower prices are very attractive. Living is convenient, the campus is located in the city center, within walking distance.
It is a nice place to live and the staff is very nice and, also there are lots of people that I can play with, there are nice kitchen and common areas, I can study and play some games with my friends

A memorable year spent at the school. The University of Sheffield is undoubtedly an excellent school. Both in terms of the standard of teaching, the teachers, the facilities and the care for the mental health of the students.
