Perfect for independent students, Foundry Studios offers trendy studio apartments that vary in size, price and luxury. Their modern and intimate studios come kitted with a fully equipped kitchenette, a sleek bathroom, a cosy ¾ bed, a microwave/oven and a fridge/freezer. For those interested in sharing, there is also a two-bedroom apartment option.
So I’ve actually had a really good time here. The staff team is supportive. There were frustrations with the building work BUT we have been given a substantial discount off of the rent due to this. LOCATION is fab. In the centre of town. Can be hammered from a night out and get a maccies. My fries are still warm by the time I’m home. Train station 5 min walk. Bus station across the road Sainsbury’s 2 min walk Cumbria Uni 20 min walk (fat hill but it’s Lancaster) Hospital 15 min walk I was allowed to decorate (non damaging) and my studio is so spacious. I have a full working kitchen, en-suite and the bed is on hydraulics (great storage) It’s quiet as most tenants are international and all rooms are private enclosed studios. Landry room on site and key code entrance. Common area is sick. A grand staircase and the history of the building has been upheld. I’ve booked my room for next year as the price and space is amazing verses other studios in the area.

Room advertisement is completely false. Management staff are rude and unhelpful. Front of building is always covered in rubbish. Can never pick up parcels due to reception time being from 9am till 3:30pm when busy in university. Would not recommend. Company also rude and unhelpful at times of need. Wifi does not work very well after waiting months for it to be sorted. Only good thing is next to bus station. Would not recommend
