Overall a good university and really approachable staff
Good university with helpful staff and a great social location!
Campus facilities are great however the connivence shop located by the library which is the closest store to peel park is expensive even for everyday items and shuts quite early on weekdays and weekends.

I’ve managed to meet friends for life here and have enjoyed every moment. Almost Famous, musical theatre society has been my all time favourite, such a great environment.

Compass is really clean and lovely to walk round. I really enjoy being close to the park as it gives a nice green space to sit and relax after and between lectures.
Its alright, nediacity campus is good
First 2 years of uni were bad, everything was still recovering from COVID, we weren't being taught anything but as soon as a different person took it over things got a lot better
I love my experience with the societies and the club I have joined, the su is also really useful and give out a lot of amazing things

I have no complaints when it comes to any of the facilities on campus.
I like University of Salford a lot for my course because everything is there to accommodate my needs.We have good libary spaces, good facilities and excellent teaching staff ( I study Graphic design). WiFi is a bit tricky to access at times but overall is very good

Worst University to ever attend. The staff are discriminative, aggressive and have no professionalism at all. If I could save anyone from the experience I have that is what I would like to do. Especially if you are considering doing the Adult nursing course, I do not recommend this university. The tutors have done nothing but put more obstacles during my time at this university, targeted me causing me anxiety and panic attacks whilst dismissing any concerns I arise with them. The tutors have always made it their mission to single me out and give me criticism when my class have done the same things as me and only received praise. I have not got one good thing to say about my experience at this University and I advise anyone I come into contact with to stay well away unless you wish to gain mental problems and unnecessary stress.

great campus, good facilities, amazing social settings
The location is great-close to the shops and buses that have direct access to the city centre. However the room are a bit small and not soundproof at all. The police station near the accommodation also makes a lot of noise so can be disturbing when trying to sleep or study.
great uni, many different types of people, lots of different activities to get involved in and many courses and classes to be involved in.
I’ve loved my experience at Peel Park. I love to catch up with my flatmates in the kitchen after a long day at uni, and the maintenance staff are always quick and efficient. I’ve met so many new people being surrounded my students all the time- which is great. My flat is close to my uni building and within walking distance from Manchester, which makes nights out way cheaper! I feel safe Living at Peel Park.

SU often offer free sports and activities to join. They have a really comprehensive sports centre on campus and near Peel Park. Plenty of space to study and rest.
The experiences provided by Salford have been amazing. The classes are fantastic and the technology used is fantastic and offered so many different experiences to all students.
I really like the facilities within Peel Park and everyone is very friendly and helps out people that need something!

The staff are exceptional and if I have anything of concern they are there to listen and take on board the content of the conversation. The campus is accessible throughout the day and even, so you can use their facilities if required. The course itself is constructive and balanced and introduces new prospective outlooks on your future that you may not have considered about. Overall, a fantastic University.

The university compass has everything that I need, and the societies have opened my eyes in trying different hobbies
The campus is nice and modern, the buildings have good connection as well as computer facilities to make use of, there are many nice social spaces around the campus and campus buildings to spend time between lectures.
At day one, I was super nervous and confused of the whole process of immigration, but Hayley and Simon treated me warmely and this was so thoughtful of them. I expected a good place to stay, but honestly speaking, I was so great. I would like to thank all the staffs and managers for creating this lovely place.

University experience is encouraging to international student and one doesn’t feel out of place.
Sometimes the uni seems like it could do with some better time management. Classes often aren't where initially timetabled due to conflicts with other classes.

I am really enjoying my social life and have made lots of friends through societies. The staff are really welcoming which helps a lot with feelings of uneasiness.
My experience has been nice but there isn't an acceptable quality of communication with staff due to the unreliable reception staff. Also I wish there was better quality and diverse societies which I would be interested in.

The number of societies and clubs is amazing so many to choose from. the facilities and student union are all extremely good condition and enjoyable places to spend time
Really good campus close to many things with shops within campus such as the convenience store, the library is really good as it has everything you need. I’ve not been to a club or social but my friends have been and really enjoyed them and they are well advertised during freshers week and through the year. The student union is really good with lots of places to sit and many events on such as the quiz every Monday and everything is really affordable. Reason for the 3 star is due to the access to it can be really annoying in building like Mary Seacole.
