I love University of Exeter so much.

Great second home , convenient and clean
good campus and facilities, especially the lecturers being very helpful.
Great living experience with a good value of money.
The facilities at this university are decent BUT I cannot stress enough, do NOT undertake a Postgraduate Diploma on the CYP IAPT course with them! Firstly, there are severe inconsistencies and miscommunications with the teaching and marking criteria, with students writing essays based on feedback received and then receiving completely different feedback and often lower marks! Poor communication from university staff who clearly had favourites. Any changes or alterations were communicated last minute. No support whatsoever offered to trainees with vulnerabilities, they complete an ILP for you as a tickbox exercise but don't actually enforce any of it. Generally a poorly run course that festers a toxic environment amongst students, inclusive of lecturers breaking the very same rules they put in place as part of the group agreement. Avoid at all costs.
Love my room this accommodating is very good
Very good city for students. The university experience is great overall.
Great university with a vibrant social life, with a nice environment and surroundings, supported by friendly and professional academic staff.
It is a very good student apartment. It is far away from the street and very quiet at night. There is room service every two weeks and the front desk staff are very friendly.
Love being at Exeter University
The University of Exeter, a leading institution in the UK, offers a vibrant academic environment with a strong emphasis on research, teaching, and student support. Renowned for its excellence in various disciplines, the university provides a rich and diverse learning experience. Its beautiful campuses, including the Streatham and St Luke's sites, offer modern facilities and a supportive community for students. Exeter University's commitment to research and academic innovation, coupled with a wide range of extracurricular activities, creates a well-rounded educational experience for its students.
The University of Exeter offers an amalgam of excellent programmes, especially for their postgraduate students. The sports teams here are also renowned for their achievements, a trait that truly attracted me to enroll into UoE.
great place to stay. nice room mates and good view
A very comfortable place to learn
Central Living is the best of all and specially if you are St. Luke's based campus.

good environment university with a lot of tree and garden
I have had a lovely time at this university and the mixture of nature and city vibes is just gorgeous. It’s a good place to be in
A great place to enjoy your study with lots of other fun activities.
Really excellent university in all areas!
Great place to study, the atmosphere, faculty are all top notch.
Being an international student i always felt intimidated to approach people , but the way the talk to us is really comforting . I didn’t do the registration and my it account got blocked and i was nervous thinking I couldn’t enroll for this academic year . when i approached the student help desk they were nice and did their best to retrieve my it account back and helped me with registration process as well
Hill View Place in Exeter was great. It's really close to campus and the view is awesome. The people working there are super nice and make sure everything's good. Totally recommend for students in Exeter.
Good university Supportive and good experience
It’s a great international experience to go to this university and has all the resources and facilities to cater to each and every aspect of the student experience.
Your dorm room is really tidy and cozy, it looks just like a real home. Your dorm mates must have a great sense of teamwork to make this place so comfortable and inviting. Keep up the good work, and it'll surely become a warm haven!
goodgoodgoodgoodgoodgoodgoodgood
Very good experience with the accommodation and services.
Basically it is nice at all. People here are nice no matter you are international student or not
Pretty cool University, every one has a different experience, when it comes to lectures and assessments. So far it's alright
The lecturers are very supportive, which is very helpful as the modules are academically challenging but rewarding. Furthermore, the library is excellent, and allowed access to many updated articles.
Teachers are very supportive and personal tutors help you get through any difficulties you may encounter during your studies
University and the atmosphere is great as well.
This apartment is very nice. I really enjoyed staying in this apartment.
very beautiful and friendly university.
I would like to express my experience regarding my applications to various universities in the UK. Throughout this process, I found that many of these institutions were challenging to contact and interact with, often providing me with very formal and generic responses. However, my experience with the University of Exeter was a stark contrast. At Exeter, I encountered a remarkably friendly and approachable staff who went above and beyond to provide me with incredible support, offering detailed explanations and guidance. I must particularly commend Professor Donald, who stands out as the most exceptional professor I have ever had the privilege of interacting with. Mr. Murray exhibited the same exceptional qualities. Unfortunately, I was unable to complete my visa application this year. Looking forward, I remain eager to reapply next year, with the hope of meeting everyone in person and expressing my heartfelt gratitude for the exceptional positivity and support that I received .
The campus is pretty with a wide array of societies. Campus is on a hill though is the only thing!
It’s a really nice place, pretty safe and beautiful! Everyone’s kind and friendly!
Just started my 2nd year at Exeter and I love it here. Facilities and staff are fantastic, no issues with study spaces or timetabling and my course is amazing.
Beautiful green campus, modern buildings. Staff is friendly and approachable. Careers Service sends out weekly emails to keep you updated about events and opportunities.
The culture of the University is wholesome; the definition of work hard play hard. The campus is really beautiful and the facilities are up to date. The student union indeed acts as a voice of the students, organising and taking into consideration the student body's needs and thoughts. The clubs and societies the University offers are such a wide range that everyone has something they would be interested in. The lectures and staff are also dependable and have the experience needed.
Exeter is great, good campus, good fercilities, good people
Best university ever and with the best green Campus
Very supportive and safe place to live, no issues
I have really enjoyed studying here so far! Exeter itself is a lovely city that feels more like a town (but in a good way). The university campus and facilities are great and there are loads of great members of staff. I would definitely recommend getting involved in clubs and societies. I met loads of wonderful people that way and it's a great way to get involved in university life. 2020 might not have been the best year for a lot of us but the university did actually try to show that they cared about the students, organising small events and activities, for example.
Loved my time here, however it does get very difficult
Exeter University is a good place for study
decent university with nice campus and social atmosphere
Great university. Highly recommended. Tonnes of societies in Exeter. Not so much going on in Truro
Very good, good experience and fun
Lots of stuff you can do at Exeter to boost career prospects if you know where to look
The university of Exeter is a very good uni. They are always trying to improve their courses and take into account what students say. There are lots of services to help any issues. However, it may take a lot to resolve issues such as lots of evidence and question answering.
The best university in the world
Overall a very modern and green university campus, with lots of ways to meet other students.
Awesome uni! Nice environment and great teaching
Great university, really enjoying my time there.
I had a really nice time at Exeter.
Exeter for me is the perfect place to study, the city itself is a good balance between town and city, you have all of the benefits of a city with the community sense of a town. The societies here are a great experience of uni life. The lecturers are great at their jobs and many find ways to make every lecture interesting even if you have learnt the content previously.
Most staff I've come across are great and welcoming. But if you're on St Luke's campus then you are very isolated from the rest of the uni.
It's a good university boasting a huge number of societies and social events for the students. Multiple facilities and ways for students of many backgrounds and studies to interact.
I didn’t love it here - felt I could’ve had more support from staff, but all the things asked about above were fine
Exeter is great university. Take the most to learn and enjoy life. You only have university for so long. Maximise your experience and make the most of if because it goes by quick
Attending the University of Exeter has been a truly rewarding experience and one that I will remember for my entire life
Great university, particularly love the older parts of campus and the cafes.
Nice campus and good facilities. Staff are hit and miss in their support.
I love the scenery and the atmosphere here.
Really good quality teaching and good location in city.
All the services are there and can be easily contacted.
Nice campus and good social areas
Good support networks, good reputation
The University of Exeter has amazing buildings and facilities spread around the campus. The library is my personal favourite as it has multiple floors and study rooms you can book out. There are a range of societies which are very inclusive and active so there will surely be something for everyone.
I was very happy to spend a year as a graduate student at Exeter University. The beautiful campus is full of vitality, and the beautiful teaching buildings and classrooms make students more eager to learn.
As a postgrad I have had a bit of an isolating experience in the Uni. I am of the few doing engineering and feels a bit isolated. But people are nice overall. Found really nice people but undergrads quite closed minded
Sense of identity really needed - especially for postgraduate research programs
Some good lecturers but more than half were hard to understand and/or bad at teaching. Uni management are bureaucratic, not transparent and seem to care more about their finances than student wellbeing or teaching quality. Met some great friends there but still wish I had gone somewhere else.
it's all good, a nice place to study.
I think there is a good living environment here and the staff at the front desk are very helpful.
Great university, I took a PGCE and it was a great foot into teaching.
Amazing uni, so much support everywhere
Nice uni with lots of opportunities and facilities to make use of
Very good sightseeing . Lovely atmosphere. Security are very helpful.
A very nice apartment!I’m so happy living in there!
I like my university very much!
I am from the USA, so I am comparing my experience to my home UNI to my time at Exeter. My UNI in the US had a lot larger campus, and the gym/rec building was free for students because it was part of the tuition. The buildings at my home UNI were also a lot more modern, and there were more facilities. There was a building for blowing glass, 3D printing, and other things for design. The forum isn't the best. My UNI had a lot larger library, and there was a lot more space for studying. The clubs/societies at Exeter almost all require money to join, and more money each time you want to go to a club event. My UNI back home allocated money to the different clubs, so many were free. The only time you had to pay for clubs at my home UNI was if you were going on a trip. My UNI back home doesn't have a student union. I did not interact with the career services in Exeter. One thing Exeter did better than my home UNI was the internet. My home UNI had some trouble with internet.
Exeter University is generally a lovely place to study at. The Exeter-based campuses are awesome, with a great balance of green/study space. The wifi has been unreliable at times, but overall I don’t have any complaints.
Nice facilities and some great lecturers! The mix of online and in-person learning has been very useful. I can’t speak for all societies, but at least the few I’ve joined over the years haven’t had many things going on. So I suggest choosing your clubs wisely!
The uni is good they provide me with alot of support ultimately in wellbeing services. I am glad they really take into accoun student wellbeing as they priority
Exeter university has been great! An extremely supportive university I have enjoyed my three years being here.
Very good location, just a few minutes walk from the university, excellent facilities, I would recommend it.
Good, it’s a good university and all the staff are good.
It's one of the best UK university to study. I am currently doing Masters in Business Analytics from the University. All the professors have been good and helpful throughout the course and have helped with all minor to major doubts.
Exeter University was my first choice and I don't regret my decision. The forum is my favourite area and the grounds are incredible, for a day or night time walk. If you like areas of greenery, large grounds, a supporting and diverse community, then this is the one to go for.
The university offers a large array of support and help for career opportunities and self-development. If you're a student who struggles with any learning or mental health difficulties, the university and its staff are willing and supportive to help you achieve your best.
I’ve never used the career service but I’ve heard it’s generally okay. I am particularly fond of the facilities at the university, especially their sports facilities. The internet is okay, although it doesn’t work sometimes. The wellbeing department could be more prioritised and would benefit from more funding.
