Where is Loughborough University Located?

Loughborough University is located in the middle of the UK in the county of Leicestershire. The campus is a fifteen-minute walk from the town centre – there’s also a shuttle bus that runs through campus and into the town centre at regular intervals. The larger cities of Nottingham, Leicester and Derby are nearby, as are tourist attractions, such as the Peak District and Bradgate Park.

What is Loughborough like?

Loughborough is a lively and friendly market town with plenty of things for students to do. It is home to an array of shops and restaurants, relaxed pubs and bars and some great entertainment facilities. Loughborough Students’ Union has its very own 4,000-capacity nightclub which has three different rooms all playing a variety of music several times a week, so you can have a great night without even leaving the campus. Loughborough is also close to tourist attractions like Bradgate Park and Beacon Hill.
