Overall, I've had a great time at NTU. The university is located in the city center, making it highly close by. My course tutors are all really helpful and communicative. They give me good advice about my projects. I really like my course content which takes me about 8 hours/week at school and I can spend the rest on experimenting new different things, such as signing up other workshops, etc. One thing that might be improved is the timetable. Sometimes the time is set confusingly.
Thank you for sharing your review of Nottingham Trent it is always great to hear from our students about the experience we offer. Nottingham is a fantastic city with lots to offer our students! We are pleased to hear you feel supported by our staff members. We work hard to support our students both in their academic and personal lives. A University that offers strong quality teaching and peers. You will not feel out place in this vibrant student city as there will always be support when needed.
Thank you for sharing your review of the University! Nottingham is a fantastic place for Students with lots to explore and enjoy during your time with us! There is lots to do both in the university and in the city. One of the main selling points in the food and drink science. Nottingham's independent food and drink scene is bursting with personality and bubbling with world flavours. Its vibrant restaurants and cafes will transport your taste buds to the bustling streets of Bangkok, the rustic pizzerias of Naples and the burger joints of New York City.
The academic staff have been so supportive and encouraging throughout my time at NTU. The city is such a fun place to live!
NTU is a beautiful university, especially clifton campus where I'm based at.
We love our NTU Clifton Campus too! Clifton is the definition of ‘campus life’, a vibrant village with everything you need right on your doorstep. The campus itself had its own NTSU, Student Support, Sports Hub and amazing course facilities. Also, it's just a short hop on the Number 4 bus (during term time) if you want to head into the city for some shopping, food and drink or visit the other NTSU building!
The staff are all welcoming and friendly. I have felt very supported by the student support services and I feel that my concerns mattered.

Uncle kobi is an amazing staff member and is always happy to help me when I need him
Uncle kobi very pleasant perosn helped within the year
The Brackenhurst campus is really beautiful and has a nice relaxed atmosphere. It is quite isolated from the city but there is hourly buses. Clubs and societies at brackenhurst are limited but people new ones start up each year. Brack bar has fun club nights but it is quite small. The careers service is really helpful especially when seeking placements.
Thank you for your review! Brackenhurst is set in stunning countryside just a bus ride away from Nottingham city centre. The campus is home to the School of Animal, Rural and Environmental Sciences which is why it is set a little further from the city to ensure we can give student that correct facilities to support them on these types of courses. As mentioned in your review, there is a bus that regularly goes to the city and there are other facilities close by located in Southwell. Our Employability are there every step of the way from the start of your course and up to three years after graduation to help support you in your future careers. You can always check their main pages for information about how to get involved in events, workshops and more.

The course has been good. Aspects such as the newsroom make you feel like you're in a professional setting. It has also been very practical, especially in 2nd year. Great facilities such as podcasting and radio rooms. Love the library. Love how the uni is all over the city. Great community. Lots of competitions and surveys to enter. Freshers fairs were good too. Always something on! Great study abroad opportunities and the global lounge and its staff are brilliant. Best university ever! Love the experience so far
Thank you so much for sharing your opinion of Nottingham Trent University. We are so pleased you are enjoying your time with us so far!
Great uni that offers the best of both worlds in terms of academia and student life.
The NTU Mansfield Hub is an okay place to study. It offers numerous courses at HNC, HND and degree level that are delivered by mostly good lecturers. However, it doesn't offer much more than that. The campus is severely lacking in social facilities that offer students the chance to meet new people and make new friends. It could also really benefit from more equipment related to some of the subjects, particularly engineering. The area also isn't anything special but this site has been set up to appeal to those already local to the area. With future investment, the Mansfield hub could eventually turn into something that's good for both the local students and maybe students who are willing to journey out. This would also help make Mansfield as a whole a better place to live for students, over time of course.
Thank you for sharing your views on your experience at Mansfield Hub. At NTU in Mansfield we provide access to alternative routes in higher education where you can study qualifications, including higher national qualifications; foundation, top-up and bachelor (honours) degrees. As one of the newer campuses at the University we appreciate the students feedback on how we can improve the student experience. Please feel free to share any more feedback via the Ask NTU Form so that we can share with the relevant departments.
Provide lot of guidance and advises on career. Lecturers are friendly and helpful. Teaching methods are really good. There are so many places to study and chill It would be great if there were few other social events
I enjoy being at ntu because it’s a great experience
Campus facilities are great, city campus location is perfect Accommodation is to a good standard but quite expensive, halls feel very safe
Building works outside my window every morning is horrible
I’ve had so much fun at university, the course is exactly what I was looking for and I’m super excited to finish this year and the 2nd and 3rd
Good university experience so far. I haven’t made the most of societies but other than that very good..
NTU has a lovely welcoming community with plenty to get involved with. There are always events going on when you feel like trying something new. Career services haven't been great for art students but I have seen many improvements within the last couple years.
Thank you for sharing your experience. We offer lots of events across the year for students to get involved in and the NTSU offer even more activities to get involved with throughout the year.
Wonderful campus, absolutely beautiful place with amzing lecturers and opportunities
I won't lie, my first year has pretty dull but that is just because of I haven't really gone out to socialise and clubs basically. It's honestly may fault. But NTU has a incredibly helpful helpful employability team that has really been a great help for me. They have really good student support for mental health. The facilities are top- notch. Warm lecturers and great teaching as well.

I had an amazing experience however teaching should be better
Fab amenities. Lots of opportunities for work experience, joining societies and carrying out short or long term placements.
I absolutely love studying at NTU because it has a great Institute for Education and all the lecturers are really supportive. I also find the content of the degree really interesting and incredibly valuable with regards to up-to-date research in the field of teaching and education. Student Support is great too and there is a wealth of support services that can be accessed by students and staff. Furthermore, the library is open 24-hours a day, 7 days a week and it is a really nice place to study and the staff are incredible- nothing is ever too much for them and they will try to help in any way that they can. I absolutely love studying at NTU because it has a great Institute for Education and all the lecturers are really supportive.

Great university, really good social life. Tutors are really helpful and the courses are great.
Student life is a bit different due to us not being in the center and it being hard to get there. The student union on site is amazing however always closes earlier
nothing else to say here in terms of the university
Amazing unu could not recommend it any more
Good university, would recommend for anyone who wants to be at a social university
I attend Nottingham Trent University as a first year in education studies. My first year is better than I expected. The content is amazing and interesting learning about inequalities of education with different ethnic groups and so much more. We get a 6 week placement only on the Mondays that is providing so much experience. The course is so flexible and the lecturers are some of the nicest people, they are understanding and reassuring. The course has no exams it is just coursework which already sounds amazing but the lectures help with the coursework so much so we can achieve the best grades. The classes tend to be small but you make friends with everyone, and you work together a lot which makes the course even more enjoyable.
Thank you for sharing your review with us! We try to ensure our students make the most of their studies both academic and practical. We encourage you to take opportunities to gain real life experience during your degree to help support your future career goals.
University is a great environment overall and the facilities are very good. Wifi can be glitchy at times but gets better.
Fantastic teaching and support! Brackenhurst campus has a fun and friendly vibe
I like living close to the uni, the price isn’t bad either
My time at Nottingham Trent University was solid. While it may not boast the prestige of some elite institutions, NTU offers a decent education with dedicated faculty who provide support and guidance. The campus facilities are sufficient, and the community is welcoming. Overall, Nottingham Trent University provides a satisfactory university experience for those seeking a practical education without the frills of more prestigious schools.
Thank you for your feedback! We are pleased you are enjoying Nottingham Trent and if you have any further ideas for improving our University please do let us know by completing the Ask NTU Form on our website.
Studying at NTU has been an amazing experience so far. My course, (Product Design BSc) gives you access to amazing facilities, including wood workshop, metal workshop, and several machines such as 3D printers, laser cutters and more. The cohort is also usually really small so you get lots of tutor contact time. The employability team is also very helpful and supportive when it comes to looking for a placement. The NTSU also releases new activities that students can try every week, which is a great way to unwind and meet other students after a long day of lectures. The boots library is also an amazing resource with lots of study spaces and different noise levels to suit you.

The uni experience here is great. The people you meet are very friendly and easy to get along with, as well are the very helpful staff here too. The location is great and right in the heart of the city centre.
Kobi is the best person to see!!!
I joined NTU in 2022 after changing course from Computer Science (studying at a different university) to Real Estate and it was the best decision I could have made. Firstly, I am now studying a course I am truly passionate about and additionally studying at one of the best universities in the country for Real Estate. The lectures are second to none, all are passionate and due to all of the having worked in industry provide valuable insights into our future career paths. The course consists of lectures and seminars all delivered in person. We also get guest lectures on occasion to come & talk about future careers and lecture on their areas of expertise. NTU delivers great quality teaching & support through the employability department to help gain employment after graduation and placements/internships. The social life at NTU is great with many societies and clubs available to join should you wish to. Also, Nottingham has a great nightlife which is great for making friends & relaxing.

NTU has a lot of clubs and societies where we get to socialise and build our confidence, I have not even had one bad experience with NTU all lecturers are supportive and we have access to every thing we need
Internet problems can arise in the Lecture theatres which is problematic.

The Internet access is fast and reliable. The staff are friendly and always willing to help and provide guidance. The facilities are of good quality. The student union is inclusive and a nice place to be.

NTU is in a great university for business and SU saturday is great
I have thoroughly enjoyed studying marketing at Nottingham Trent.
As its a very large uni in terms of student numbers, there is a very wide range of opportunities in sports and other clubs and societies. The union is much better than other unis I have visited in terms of club nights and events.
As you also mentioned there are lots of ways to get involved including the course societies run via the Students' Union or Academic Schools. Thank you again for sharing your experiences with our prospective students!
It’s really good and I enjoyed it a lot
