Nothing much to complain so far it’s my first year here though
Seriously misjudged great uni to go to would highly recommend
The campus is a decent place to socialise and learn new things
I enjoy living here at Peverell and taking the number 4 or 1 bus into city for my lectures. I can’t wait to stay at Peverell again next academic year.
I loved living in a big flat, as it meant out of the big group, you are bound to find your people. For me I made a really close group with six people, if I was in a smaller flat then who knows if I’d get on with all six, but this worked really well for me. It’s super social and a great location, in my opinion it’s the best option for a reasonable price and great social life! I love my time at Sandby
Personally there is not a lot of activities held by the SU that i feel like i can get involved in
I have enjoyed my time at NTU so much, I couldn’t imagine spending my three uni years anywhere else. Everything from accommodation to student facilities and the general student life has been so good; can’t wait for my next two years in Nottingham.
Nice campus. Good for career support. Lots of events hosted by SU
everything is good, I can’t say much about social events because i don’t attend them
Good university, cool people and the level is epic
Very happy I picked NTU. Great facilities and great people
I feel like there needs to be a wider range of activities and everyone from other campus feels left out since everything is mainly in the city
pretty good not much to complain about
Amazing community, the location is great.
Clifton Campus is really nice and provides me with everything I need to unlock my potential.
Good labs and teachers and decent content
Campus is very social in a good location, I would recommend the uni due to the location. The WiFi is great in uni and outside of campus
Only part I really am unhappy with at university is living in student halls. Living in a flat with 10 people is way too much and people stay up drunk and screaming until around 4 am so I barely get any sleep this effecting my studies and causing me to miss lectures and classes.
No issues with the uni, really enjoying it, lots of fun trips etc
I have really enjoyed my time at Nottingham and the students union always advertises events
I just wish we had better sports facilities to train and enjoy for leisure purposes in the city instead of Clifton.
Top experience in Nottingham. Overall nothing to worry about
good university close to everything
Very helpful In giving information about future careers that you might be interested in.
Amazing university with lots to so in events.

We're so glad to hear you're enjoying the vibrant campus life! Our team works hard to make sure there's always something exciting happening!
It is nice. Loving the experience
best campus in town, the point has cheap pints
i quite enjoy the campus and the student union
Not had an encounter either the SU therefore my rating may be incorrect, campus is lovely and well organised and there are many societies

We're glad to hear you're enjoying the campus and the wide range of societies available. If you ever get the chance, we’d love for you to connect with the Students' Union — they offer a lot of support and opportunities to get involved.
Decent su and there’s a spar.lost of sports facilities.
It was decent but could be better
Avoid Trinity Square – Terrible Value for Money From September to Christmas, nonstop construction noise made it impossible to rest—drilling started early every morning, which was extremely stressful for students. The lifts are unreliable. One’s been out of order for over a month, and the other is painfully slow. Management says it might be fixed by May, which is unacceptable. Maintenance is poor—one resident’s shower was broken for a whole month with no proper response. The place is also dirty and poorly maintained, with neglected common areas and an outdated feel. I’m paying £181/week for an en-suite, while my friend pays £160/week at Study Inn which includes: • Study spaces • Gym, sauna, steam room • Games area • Big kitchens with personal fridges • Free regular cleaning of rooms, bathrooms, and kitchens included in the price, no extra charges. Trinity Square offers none of this. Don’t waste your money book somewhere better.
Had nothing but fun at NTU. Will never regret choosing NTU
Trent was always my top choice for university. I've met so many of my closest friends through societies and clubs and the opportunities to try so many new things is incredible. The staff, safety and facilities really make it feel like home and make it bittersweet to leave for holidays.

We're so happy to hear that Trent has felt like home for you! It’s wonderful that you've made lasting friendships and embraced all the opportunities through societies and clubs. Knowing that the staff, facilities, and supportive environment have made such a positive impact. We hope the holidays are restful, and we can’t wait to welcome you back soon
I did my undergraduate course here years ago, now finishing my Master's after I had to pause it many years ago. NTU has been perfect with regards to student union support (I've been a course rep and used opportunities given to me in that regard), courses (I've learned many new skills, such as leadership and interviewing people) and the friends I've made (fellow mature students and the Taylor Swift society have been amazing!) Couldn't have asked for a better university experience. My brother has done his undergraduate and Master's here, too, and is applying to do his PhD. NTU rocks!
Campus is attractive and contains an on campus shop, cafeteria, coffee shop and pub, very handy and good services. With 24hr library and good gym. WiFi can be difficult to connect to sometimes but generally works in lectures.
The campus is very big with a lot of modern buildings, the library is very helpful for different groups of people
Great campus with lots of sites and facilities. Great variety of societies and good careers support too if necessary.

It's great to know our careers support has been helpful — we're always here to support you in making the most of your time at Trent
There could be more societies based in clifton
Well run and inclusive, wide range of opportunities
my kettle was broken and I got a new one the next day!!
Great university! Absolutely love my time there!
Lovely facilities, lovely staff and support for everything.
Choosing to study Law at Nottingham Trent University has genuinely been one of the best decisions I’ve made. From academic opportunities to student life, NTU offers a well-rounded experience that’s helped me grow both professionally and personally. I’m currently in my placement year as part of the sandwich LLB (Hons) course, and the practical experience has been invaluable. I’ve worked in a legal clinic, taken part in mooting, and secured a placement at a high street law firm where I’ve had the chance to rotate through different departments. It’s given me real insight into the legal world and confirmed my ambition to become a solicitor. But what really makes NTU stand out is the overall student experience. The support here is excellent—from approachable lecturers to career advisors who genuinely want to help. I’ve always felt encouraged and supported, especially as someone who came from a comprehensive school and is the first in their family to study law.
Very good and clean accomodation for first years looking to live on campus. Close to the point, soar and the bus stops and uber drop off zone. 24/7 reception and security leaves you feeling safe and secure. A bit pricy however as actual room sizes are quite small, however the kitchen and living area is big.

We're really pleased to hear you’ve had a positive experience with the on-campus accommodation — especially that the cleanliness, location, and 24/7 reception and security have helped you feel safe and supported. We understand your thoughts on pricing and room size, and we’re always looking for ways to improve the experience for our students.
Clifton Campus has a mixture of modern and older buildings. The library, pavilion, sports facilities and student union are all quite modern. The accessibility is something Clifton has taken into consideration and implemented well. The only negative is the lack of parking, Monday 7am - Friday 4pm student’s/ members of the public are not permitted to part in the main car park, thus making us difficult for people to visit any other time than the weekend.
Really good University. You can get a lot of help and staff is always friendly. Library is great and a lot of nice events in Clubs and discounts in some stores. I like the NTU quite a lot
Campus location is quite good and varies a lot depending on your course but overall it’s pretty good. Career and employability help is available and is quite helpful, the societies are also nice and a good variety is present.

It's great to know our careers and employability support has been useful, and that you’ve had a positive experience with the variety of societies on offer.
I love socials with swimming I have found life long friends outside of my flat group, The different social groups are so fun and I often swap and change societies every other week to experience new things such as snow sports and cocktail making!
Good campus but far from city .
There’s always events happening in the SU and many different ways to find new hobbies and meet new friends.
NTU is very supportive. From careers services to their wellbeing services, down to the student mentors and tutors. You will feel so supported at NTU. The societies are amazing!

We're so pleased to hear that you’ve felt supported throughout your time at NTU! It’s fantastic to know our careers, wellbeing, and mentoring services have made a difference, and that you’ve had a great experience with our societies too.
Had no problems throughout my stay
The facilities are great and gives a great deal of opportunity and the WiFi runs extremely smoothly
Best university till now as it giving us alot of opportunities for connecting with people and students
It's okay overall can be improved
Made a few friends. Lectures are not as interactive and its difficult to make friends in lectures. The campus is kind of pretty and its also not as spread out so theres less walking
I had a good experience, the sky is blue.
Everything worked perfectly fine for me whilst staying there.
Clifton campus has very good facilities that are easily accessible and open for good times of the day
Very nice dynamic on campus. Our Student Union on Clifton does lack in comparison to the City.
Very good facilities with a spar on site. Loads of societies and activities.
Again, the university has everything you need and gives a nice community feel to the students despite it being in the middle of the city.
Much better than I thought it'd be.
Good location, within walking distance to the university, tram stop and city centre. Facilities are alright but lacking social gathering or get together spaces. Improvement can be made to incorporate social areas. Internet speed is good.

It’s great to hear you’re enjoying the location and finding the internet reliable — being close to the university, tram stop, and city centre is definitely a plus!
Good socials that happen often
Everything has been great but maybe not having much around is kind of difficult for people who don’t drive
All of them are 5* and I am very happy to be part of them and the university.
Im at 1st year graphic designer, and for the amount that i paid to be here, seems reasonable comparing to how much resources i am given, however it still feels like i have to pay a little bit more to showcase my projects in higher quality. Especially printing your process and final outcomes, however its optional. Tutors usually prefer analog work on process book, but digital is fine as well. They are friendly and want to make sure you engage and feel comfortable within the studies, and I really appreciate the amount of feedback/help I was given and others to get better on our task. Loads of events and guest talks to motivate me and technical help is also great. The new building which I reside called "DADA" has loads of rooms to study in and computers for digital work. Also providing amazing views of the city.
Couldn’t recommend NTU more, there’s something for everyone here, the level of support is so appreciated, There is always someone to talk to whether that’s someone at the SU or staff on campus, the opportunity’s Trent has given is amazing such as work experience and new friends!

It’s great to know you’ve made meaningful connections and gained valuable experiences
its okay nothing too much, you have to do everything yourself and find information yourself
Great facilities for studying however the gym in the city is far too small
all very good not much to complain about
Couldnt be happier with the university facilities! No problems there. Lots of help all around and great study areas.
As an international student studying International Business at Nottingham Business School, my experience has been positive. From day one, I felt welcomed and supported by both the staff and other students. It’s such a diverse and friendly environment, which made it easy to connect with people and settle in quickly. The course is engaging and focused on real-world learning. We cover topics that are happening in global business right now, and there’s a big emphasis on practical skills too. The lecturers are approachable and passionate about what they teach, which makes classes more enjoyable and interactive. The City Campus is such a great place to study. It’s modern, well-designed and easy to navigate. I appreciate how everything is in one place—from lecture halls to cafés to study spaces- making day-to-day life more convenient. The library is also well-equipped and a great space to focus.
Great university for all students
facilities are good but expensive, the union i don’t really know much about and the internet is good but breaks down sometimes

We're glad to hear you’re happy with the facilities and internet overall, though we understand occasional issues can be frustrating. If you ever get the chance, we’d definitely encourage you to check out the Students’ Union — there’s a lot on offer, from support to events and opportunities to get involved.
It was a good experience, but there could have been more freshers events
Services provided by NTU have been fantastic and has really made me enjoy my time at NTU
Overall good! The campus is nice and close to the city
The University in general doesn't really cater to my needs, I don't think there are enough variety and options in terms of student groups and societies.
Campus is small so easy to get to lectures WiFi can be on and off and su if good vibes
Good university with good courses
Clifton is ok. It does the job. The point is pretty good, theres a good community there.
have loved mostly everything about first year; new surroundings, new people and new opportunities
I love it, amazing experience so far!
Nottingham Trent University has been a fantastic experience for me. The campus is vibrant and well-equipped, with modern facilities that support both learning and socializing such as Boots library. The variety of courses offered is impressive, and the teaching quality has been consistently high. I've found the staff to be approachable and supportive, always willing to help with any questions or concerns. The university also hosts numerous events and activities, making it easy to meet new people and get involved in the community. Overall, I highly recommend Nottingham Trent University for anyone looking for a dynamic and engaging educational experience.

Its great to hear that your experience at NTU has been positive, from the campus to the supportive staff and events. It’s great to know you’ve found the resources and community here valuable.
The area is nice accomodation is a short walk to lectures
Good experience so far only had one year so far.
Very good place to be people are friendly and there are always events on
All things above are great - the only recommendation I have is to make it clearer on how I can access career advice!
All in all very good experience but the price of new halls is a bit expensive for what you get
Had loads of different campus facilities like the point, library, shop, etc. Student union is better in the city centre but it's still great. So many different societies to join as well.
I had an amazing experiences and would recommend this to more people in the future. perfect location and brilliant management team!
I absolutely love NTU, it’s an incredibly well facilitated campus with safe spaces for everyone, and everything you could ever need. I also think that they especially care about supporting students mental health and safety
A good student union with good events
The campus is great and has lots of stuff to do
i enjoy studying there as its giving a peaceful ambiance
Wonderful experience so far at Nottingham-Trent university.
