Applying to Nottingham Trent was one of the best decisions of my life. The vibrant student life on and around campus, the working community within my course (big up architecture) as well as the unparalleled oppurtinites for students seeking success both during and after their studies makes NTU the one for me. Companies often visit our Student Union to host events with chances for networking opportunities - plus freebies! The lecturers here genuinely seem to care about their students. I love it here! There is truly something for everyone in NTU.

Overall my experience was good, although it was affected by covid, I would still recommend NTU.

Great university, as an art student - the city campus has many rooms and places catered for your learning experience and materials to help you on all kinds of projects. And if you can't find what you're looking for on the spot, staff have been really helpful in going out there way to find out more than one possible solution. There are amazing cafes close by with delicious foods to help yourself to using your uni card's credit and comfy spots to hang with friends. Beautiful parks closeby to hang as well and if you ever need that outdoor space for a break. NTU also offers many events and clubs that are always a great opportunity to meet and make new friends, or just deepen your connection with friends you've already made. NTU has made me feel valued as a student and offered a lot for my social experience :)

Good , really enjoyed so far, learnt a lot
Really great university with lots of facilities catered to students. As an art student I enjoyed the printing facilties in waverly and at the print shop as well as the range of content at the library
Good support for an estranged student like myself!
People travel to Nottingham to experience the Trent life as it is so good. Everyone in the uni will drop everything to help you but teach you to the best of their knowledge. All tutors cover every aspect of your course with experience backing it up

Very good university especially for economics, provides many opportunities and has a very diverse crop of students. You’ll deffo find your own crowd here

The campus facilities are ncie and it's great that they're expanding the sites with new building that provide plenty of space for everyone. The societies are fun but it'd be nice to have more than freshers to get involved with them.

Studios are great, i take fine art so the space is so important. I feel safe on campus

Even though I haven't had a usual first year of uni, ntu has been great, my halls are social (Blenheim), and my lectures have been brilliant!
Supportive uni despite the pandemic. They make sure the students are safe throughout the semester mentally and physically.

Really enjoying being at NTU staff are really helpful and always there if you need support. NTU has also been accommodating with Covid- 19 understanding it has been difficult for students and wants to help where they can.

Not even had much time at the university itself due to covid however, I do know that there is lack of support for students at this university especially based on finances.
Hi, Thanks for your review. Due to Covid and the current rules reinforced by the Government, the University has had to ahere to these rules and move all teaching to online until at least February. This of course is being reviewed and we will follow any new guidelines that are issued by the Government. The majority of staff are working from home and have been doing so since March 2020 therefore, some staff may not have access to the phones at home, making communicating with them a little difficult. The Finance team can be contacted by email but do we have a dedicated Student Support team, who when the campus is open, are on hand to help with any queries, so please feel free to contact them as NTU are here to support their students.
The professor is very professional, the academic ability is very strong, the school is very good

can't really review as I've never been into the uni, and never seen a rep from the uni all freshers. Slightly disappointed by the lack of support or community in Covid though.

Good university located in the city centre so is close to most things. Friendly staff and responded well in the light of a pandemic.

I'm still on my first year but so far i am getting all the help I need especially during these times. Staff, lecturers and other societies are helpful and nice.

Despite not having been on campus much due to sanitary restrictions, I find my campus absolutely amazing. Brackenhurst is green and full of life.

Best part about the university, is that unlike other campuses, it's directly situated in the city. So whenever you want to take a break from lectures and explore, there is so much to see. The facilities provided for your educational experience is worth every penny and there is a strong student community to support the ever growing university.

Nottingham Trent University, I imagine, is just like every other university.
The City campus has an excellent location, but I know that students from other campuses struggle with that. There are a lot of facilities, such as a huge library, student lounges, Student Union with a café and a night club, Global Lounge for international students.
That's great to hear. NTU is well known for it's great student facilities and the Global Lounge is definitely worth a visit!

My university is very fitting for all of my needs. I am at Nottingham Law School and this offers a diversity of opportunities for myself and others on my course. I have had support for services such as the mental health team, which I recommend to anyone who might need to reach out for additional support during their time at NTU

NTU is an amazing University for everyone to attend to. The lectures and tutors are always there to give their full support and will do their best to help as much as they can. My first year experience at NTU was incredible and I would not change anything. It’s a place where socialising and making new friends is easy

My experience with the university was trying to apply for a master to complete my studies and they informed me that I needed 3 years of work experience in a managerial position. I do not understand this condition at all, precisely if I need a master's degree it is to have the opportunity to have a position like this. Really bad experience

A brilliant University, in a fantastic City
I always hated the idea of going to university but since coming to Nottingham Trent I actually love it. Everyone is so helpful, the city is great, the resources and facilities are good as well. I really wouldn’t want to be anywhere else

Never went to the Student Union or Careers Servies, but can say that the clubs and societies are brilliant! The Campus is modern and nicely designed with clear maps and signage around to help you find where you need to be.

The university is very diverse and welcoming. My experience at NTU has been very exciting and good. I love all the facilities the university provides and the efforts they put in to make our experience memorable.
