It would be better if the apartment could offer free storage services during the six days between two tenancies.
It is great university. I truly enjoy it.
I love my time at Cardiff. They have been very supportive in all aspects of my life. To my struggles with my mental health to my studies, they have been nothing but brilliant.
I loved my time at this university. The place during the summer and spring is like out of a movie and it has a very central location so everything is closely accessible to students ie. the city centre, the students union, the centre for student life, 4 main libraries and Bute park are all at a 30 minute walk from each other!!
Cardiff is a city uni that feels more like a Camus uni. The university buildings are all very close together which makes navigating around quite easy. However the student accommodation can be quite far away. I have been put in Ty pont haearn which it quite a far distance away from the rest of the student accommodation. I feel as though if you are not in one of the Talybont residences it can be quite difficult to make friends within the university.
Cardiff University offers a vibrant academic atmosphere, rooted in a city that blends historical charm with modern innovation. The campus is well-equipped, providing students with the resources needed for success in their chosen fields. The faculty are generally leaders in their respective disciplines, offering insightful instruction and valuable research opportunities. However, like any large institution, experiences can vary significantly between departments. Some students find the administrative processes challenging, and class sizes can sometimes feel overwhelming. Despite these issues, the university's commitment to research and its strong links to industry provide a solid foundation for career development. Overall, Cardiff University is a commendable choice for higher education, particularly for those looking to immerse themselves in a research-intensive environment. The city itself offers a rich cultural backdrop, enhancing the overall student experience and contributing to a
Such a good University, very friendly and fun on camps
Organisation of things outside of the course not good such as grading and information on exams.
I’ve joined many societies and had the chance to go to many events where I’ve met amazing people who I speak to regularly now. I’ve been automatically connected to Eduroam in every building I’ve gone to as well and it hasn’t been a hassle which is great.
A great experience overall. Good resources, amazing student union. Good library facilities + study spaces, including the Centre for Student Life.
