Crown Place offers centrally located student accommodation which offers easy access to all of Cardiff’s top universities. It is located on St Andrew’s Place and a two-minute walk from Cardiff University, a fifteen-minute walk from the University of South Wales, and a short twenty-five-minute bus ride from Cardiff MET University. With countless shops, restaurants, bars, and more all on your doorstep, you can benefit from all the city has to offer.
Crown Place hosts a large variety of communal spaces and other fantastic amenities. When you’re feeling social, you can take advantage of the sunny landscaped courtyard, private fitness suite, dining area, two cinema rooms, pool and air hockey tables, gaming area and communal lounge. On top of the great social spaces, residents also benefit from a laundry room, bike storage, a study room, Wi-Fi, social events and all-inclusive rent.

The highlight of this place is the General Manager of this place: Ms. Kamen Ma'am. She always goes beyond her capacity to help us. I had severe back pain and during our first casual meeting I just mentioned and within no time she arranged for a brand new chair. It's because of her and the Security Staff like Terry Sir, Jack and Staz Sir that this place feels like home away from home and covers the other discomforting aspects also.

It’s a fantastic student accommodation, very near from the main building of Cardiff University and downtown as well. The room has big windows and great view. I would also highlight the manager Kamen, she is very responsible and enthusiastic. Crown Place is my ideal student accommodation.

Crown Place - Cardiff has a comfortable accommodation environment and staffs here are very nice and kind. There are many activities hold to get everyone together, which creates a friendly atmosphere. Besides, Crown Place is close to city center and school. It is very convenient to get to many places and the queen street station is also very close to the Crown Place.

the location is great close to city centre and university. The view of the premium twodio is perfect, also the room at higher stairs are quiet. to sum up, Crown Place is awesome.

Crown Place Cardiff is blessed with its location being situated in the city centre, 5 mins walk to Queen Street, and 5 - 15 mins to different Cardiff Uni's campus. It is a lovely place to stay indeed with its super friendly accommodation team and respectful neighbours, plus our different cultural onsite events will help you make new friends to support your study and life here in Cardiff. We have helped built many new friendships in the past year and hope they will last for a very long time.
I’ve really enjoyed living at Crown Place for the past year and I’ll miss it after graduation! Everyone working there have always been lovely and very helpful. The location has been super ideal for me as a Cardiff Uni student- it’s less than a 5 minute walk to campus and about 10 to the city center! My room is also super light filled from the big windows so I love working from my desk. Plus I’ve really enjoyed having a gym in the building. Definitely would recommend :)

Had a great stay at Crown Place this past year. The staff and very friendly and super accommodating of any needs. Kamen the manager was especially helpful during move-out process. The location was quick and easy to get to the City Centre area and many places were within walking distance. The building was nice with great amenities such as a gym and large social room for gatherings. Would recommend staying here!

Thank you for posting a positive review in both Chinese and English :) We offer a variety of Studios and Twodios at different price range at this very fine location in Cardiff City Centre from just £154 per week, so our residents will be benefited from the convenience with only a short walk to supermarkets, eateries, shopping malls, Cardiff Uni's campus, RWCMD, Students' Union as well as the beautiful Bute Park and Cardiff Castle. We do indeed have a spacious social area with games room, cinema rooms and a courtyard where you can enjoy 4 seasons in a day in Cardiff sometimes but hopefully more sunshine, play some ping-pong outdoor or air hockey indoor. We just had our Platinum Jubilee tea party yesterday which our residents loved the treats and hope that you managed to grab a freshly made delicious scone brought to us by our well-known bakery in Cardiff. :)
I got a problem when I decide to move out and sublet my room to other students. It's the manager Kamen who helped me a lot. She helped to solve the complication between my roommate and me. Meanwhile, she helped me to amend my contract more than once in order to satisfy my requirement . She also can speak mandarin, which is very helpful for Chinese students. I'd like to recommend Crown place cardiff to other students because I think the manager is very nice, helpful and is capable of sloving problems.

When it comes to moving in and out, we understand that our residents may have different personal reasons for their decisions so we try our best to accommodate as long as they work within our terms and conditions stated on the tenancy agreement. All the common areas of the apartment are always kept clean, the courier and the handling of letters is very organized, and other public facilities are also very useful such as the gym. The most important is all staffs are very nice. They will give enthusiastic and effective help when I have problems. A few days ago I was detained during my trip to Morocco because I forgot to bring my BRP card. I am really grateful to Kamen for helping me find my BRP card in my room twice, and for continuing to care about my situation in Morocco. I also want to thank Jim for helping me remove the bed board and find my card. I am very glad that I choose to live in Crown Place. The apartment is very wonderful both in terms of facilities and all staffs.

Very comfortable to live. Close to the Cardiff central and easy to walk to business school and engineering school. The people who live here are very kind and polite. And also plenty of social contact.

Cannot recommend this place more! The site team and security are amazing, it literally 15 mins to town and anywhere local. They have even been putting on some lush events for us and makes us feel really special. I am highly satisfied with living in a 1 bedroom apartment in Crown Place Cardiff. The conditions and state of the room when I moved in was good and looked extraordinary in comparison to other student accommodations. Staff in Crown Place Cardiff are also enthusiastic to help, and I would describe them as courteous. The facilities are also sufficient and adequate, and should there be a problem with something, the Crown Place team are quick to deal with it. The location is convenient for me as the center is a 3 min walk and the university is a 10 min one. For this reason, I strongly recommend Crown Place Cardiff to students who study in Cardiff.

The experience so far is very good, there is something in the room that needs to be repaired, the reception will find someone to repair it quickly, and I like everyone, especially Jim, who enthusiastically introduced me to the scenery of Wales.

Great place, great location, literally close to everything, and most importantly the staff!!! Luke and Kamen are awesome. Luke helped me to get a room when I was very late in September with great payment plan, also helped me to upgrade my room by rebooking for next year. Kamen did a great job helping me when I was not feeling well. She was very communicative, made sure that I was getting everything I needed, and checking on me all the time. Absolutely wonderful staff! This place is so cozy, and the activities here are endless. Thanks for making this place feels like home!

Kamen is really enthusiastic and definitely willing to help me with every stuff. Also, she is very considerate. Luke is very nice and helpful, too. The environment and view of the apartment are the greatest I have ever seen. So I rebook here even I have just lived here for less than 2 weeks.

I have stayed here for the last 2 years and have just booked again for my 3rd. I wouldnt stay anywhere else. The staff are great, especially Luke.

This this my second year live in Crown Place, and I can say that choosing to live here is the most correct decision I have ever made! The staff here are very nice and very welcoming. No matter what happens, they will do their best to help everyone. The facilities here are great, and the whole building is clean, as well as the Wifi service is stable and fast. The social space here is large and the staff often organize various activities for students from different countries to communicate. Everyone can make a lot of friends here. By the way, the location of this accommodation is great. It is a 5-minute walk from the city center, and it is very convenient for shopping or replenishing daily necessities. And there is a park near Crown Place, It is very convenient for people who like to walk. 5 Stars!!!

价格适中 位置离学校和市中心都很近 公寓的管理很好 而且公寓的环境弄得非常干净 而且还有很大的social area 设施齐全 网络也很好 在哪都有信号而且速度很快 反正订crown place不会错

Crown Place is very close to the main building of Cardiff University and the business school, about 10 minutes away, and also close to the city center, about 5 minutes away. The managers here are very enthusiastic and responsible! Very recommended!

Probably the Number 1 private accomodation in Cardiff. Very good staff. Everything they do are designated to enable all students and staff to get along well together. Why choose crown place? It is very centralized. Its only 7 minute walk to city centre and 10-15 minutes walk to most of the building by Cardiff University. Secondly, it is very new so the facilities and room are very clean and new. ( I thought I was occupying a new room during my first day of check in) Security and people there is also very good and friendly Rest assure that you will make lots of friends and have a wonderful time during your stay in Crown Place! Please book earlier as the rooms are sold out very fast every year

Location is perfect. And securities are really nice. But I find out that something in my room is broken once I moved in and I reported it. The guy Who Has funny eyes and charges the fixing problem is really rude and tell me that I should buy a tube and fix the leaking by myself. I was in a chat group with more than 80 residents and most of residents has similar problem. And I lived in fourth floor when I was showering the water Keeps going cold and sometime there even not water.

We dont like to think of anyone not having anything less than a wonderful time here but please be aware that Crown Place is now under new management who would never dream of asking a student to fix anything themselves
Lovely rooms and social area - shame we couldn't have done more events bc of covid but the ones held so far have been great! The reception staff are all friendly and welcoming and the security guards in general have been as well. Would reccomend for location 😚✌️

Everyone is very nice and polite. Even if something in your room goes wrong, you only need to report in the system. The only thing which sucks is that the wifi signal in my room is very pooooooooooooooor

The apartment is located in the center of the city. The staff are very friendly. There are cinema room, sports space here. It is very convenient for you to go to Tesco and M&S.

Perfect location right at the center of Cardiff, Its very close to uni, especially for me being a maths student. It's very convenient to buy food as there’s multiple choices around here and all very very close. All the staff are super friendly and you can go to them if you need anything, even if it’s just for a chat!!

The reason I chose this accommodation was because it was closest to Cardiff Uni (about 5-10 mins). I was staying here during the pandemic 2021 and despite the pandemic, the staffs here were really co-operative and understanding as they create fun-filled activities such as movie nights during lockdown. They gave out goodie bags filled with treats as how you would go to theatres but we had to watch movie in our own homes. Once the lockdown lifted, they had plenty activities such as movie nights in their movie room, bbq, casino nights, games and more. It was such an exciting place to stay and I really hoped I was an undergrad student to enjoy the whole fun package. Unfortunately, I had quite a stressful postgrad course that occupied some of my time. This place is not just all fun, but it is super quiet at night too for those night owls who stay up burning the candle.

Amazing location at the center of Cardiff City, I can go anywhere within 15minutes, it's very close to uni, especially when you're an architecture student. It's very convenient to buy some groceries since you get multiple choice here. It's convenient to walk around the park as well. All staffs are super friendly and cool and professional.

I am in a twodio. LIKES: lovely 24hour security and kind staff- you feel very safe. Nice gym, social spaces. Deliveries and parcels are collected by reception. Great location- 2 minutes away from the highstreet, two minutes from the student union and university DISLIKES: I am in a twodio, kitchen is on the smaller side

I love it- this will be my 3rd year rebooking now. The staff and security are all so helpful and kind. and they are always planning fun activities to do with your fellow flatmates. The amenities are fantastic and not to mention that Crown Place is a 5 min walk to my classes! Could not recommend this student accommodation more.

Lovely accommodation in amazing location however they don’t make clear that this accommodation is almost 95% international and postgraduate students so feels very isolated for first year students.

Our Location really is great and so convenient for a wide variety of Cardiff Universities with the main Cardiff Uni campus being only a 4 minute walk. We are sorry to hear you felt isolated, we do try our best to ensure there is weekly and monthly events on site so that all of our students can interact and make friends. We also pride ourselves on having a multicultural experience here at Crown with many international students preferring to book with us because of it. That being said we also have a large number of First year student staying with us who have also chosen to rebook their rooms and stay with us for their second year studies as they have enjoyed their time with us so much.
