Cardiff is an amazing unirverity with extensive student resources and facilities which all help contribute to the perfect student experience.
The university for healthcare applicants is pretty far away and frankly inaccessible to many. There are less services to reach here.
Good experience, large campus with plenty of study spaces
Organisation and timetabling within certain certain departments are atrocious; law department has only released full timetables in week 4 and they are still incomplete and have clashes. Some of the university lecturers deliver dull, uninspired lectures and are not good at public speaking. Facilities are good and the food options in the student options are nice.
Very lively campus, student hub
The timetabling definitely needs fixing
Amazing facilities, super friendly professors and staff and lots of help available for a first year student.
Up to now, I enjoy studying at Cardiff uni due to its available facilities to student all around campus. Everything is pretty walkable which means I get a good amount of exercise in each day. However, it can get quite loud on evenings due to all clubs and pubs since I’m a person who prefers to stay in and watch a film with my friends. But in general I’m very satisfied with my experience so far.
The organisation / administration of the university itself is abhorrent. I’m a 3rd year law student and have only just gotten my full timetable (which is subject to further change anyway so I’m not sure it even counts). Many people are in my exact position, it’s really just not acceptable.
Good experience and good service.
