Newcastle University has great facilities for lectures and down time, the libraries are open and social and the staff are great

Good facilities and lecture rooms
Love my course of engineering, I find the teaching styles of the majority of my lecturers engaging and understandable. The content is given in a challenging but approachable way. The facilities at the Philip Robson library, the different floors which allow different noise levels, the cafe with two microwaves is a life saver etc I really appreciate
Location very convenient, everyone is hlpful and friendly.
Nothing to complain really. The uni has everything I ever needed.

You can ask for anything you need to improve yourself: social activities, academic advice, mental health consultations. I enjoy it a lot

it’s an amazing university with staff that are knowledgeable and helpful
The lecturers at the university are great and will make sure that if you need help they will do everything they can to help you without giving you the answer to your problem straight away so you can learn how to solve a similar problem in the future

I have had a very good experience so far. The teaching staff have been very helpful in any problems I have had and the lectures have been very worthwhile and the study spaces across campus are very good working environments.The campus itself is very nice and clean and is very close to the city centre and metro stations.

the uni is great, library is sometimes freezing though which isn’t too nice when trying to study, love that there’s a kettle and microwaves in some blocks to help when people want to bring food from home

Great university and lecturers
I love the university campus even though I don't have many lectures there as a business school student. The business school is good and has good lecturers.
So far been a really great experience for my first semester - joined the rowing club, made great use of the uni gym and my subject buildings facilities (eg. Study rooms)
