Wifi sometimes doesn’t work in lectures. Student union doesn’t have as many social spaces as other universities but the bar is good and good outside area for sitting. Huge range of societies

It’s good to be a student in Newcastle University. The campus is beautiful and there are a lot of activities and social/network events along with some very useful workshops.

I have had a fantastic time in Newcastle so far and have had the opportunity to make friends through different societies.
University buildings all consist of different things and are of good quality.
I’ve had a great time at Newcastle university, with lots of events held by the uni as well as all of the societies that have helped make my experience memorable.
The campus has the necessary facilities and equipment for students to get their work done and have some fun whilst they’re at it.

Wifi could be a bit better in terms of range but perfectly fine within uni buildings. There isn't much indoor seating area in the SU apart from chicken shack so it would be nice to see some additional seating in the NUSU building
It’s sooo nice!!! The room is big enough and valuable . Also it’s close to Morrisons and make everything convenient. And all the staffs are so nice always try their best to help me!!

Loads to do here plenty of societies and events to get involved in. Careers service were super helpful with my CV and placement application / interview practice.

Uni is great don't go there that much anymore since I'm on placements now
It is quite good.But there is a thing I really want to mention that, I really miss the student union's luther bar, a cosy space embracing all the students and now it is almost replaced by the new wetherspoon restaurant and you need to pay for their food to sit there to eat, not to eat your own food,otherwise you would be told to leave.
There are a lot of school events and emails are sent out for reminders, which is sweet!

The Wi-Fi is terrible throughout the campus. And the heating system doesn’t work in lecture theatres or libro
My uni experience has been very good academically and socially. Career service is also very helpful.

Love the university, facilities and everything is great. I especially love the career teams and career related facilities it's just amazing, I've done 3 small internships as of now within the university and I am in 2nd year currently.

Leazes parade has everything to offer, from amazing facilities such as on site gym, common areas and cinema room, to being close to amenities and the city centre, everything you could ask for as a student. With staying here for two years now, I can say that the welcoming staff really make Leazes Parade a home away from home, from organising weekly social events, answering emails quickly if we’re having any issues, to always being up for a friendly chat. There’s no question that Leazes Parade’s affordability is also a major attraction, with having everything from a good sized bedroom with a small double bed, to a well equipped living area, all for an amazing price! So if you’re wanting somewhere with a great social community, is close to the city, and has a great range of facilities, Leazes Parade is the place for you!

Found my perfect student home after a disastrous first year in awful uni halls, to say Market House is an incredible improvement from Unite Students is an understatement. Super modern, clean, efficient and amazing staff Ollie and Lisa to top it off!

WiFi could be more reliable and canvas could have better setup ie an option for when all assignments are due
NCU is all that i dreamt of having a mix of indian cultural events along with icelebration of international festivals. The campus library is huge!!! The DMBB and ridley building is where i study and it is so warm and teachers are so welcoming and helpful.

Overall good. The campus is very clean and welcoming. But there is definitely something wrong with the pricing system in Philip Robinson’s library. It is hard for the students to find a nearby supermarket or a convenient store near the library. The last day, I payed two point something pounds in the library vending machine for a bottle of water. It’s inconvenient for the students to go down the hill for a bottle of water but I’m sure transporting the bottles of water to Philip Robinson’s is not a problem. Doesn’t explain the expensive price.
I didn’t take part in societies so I don’t know how much they actually have, and I didn’t have much knowledge on the student union group hence it was my first year. I feel like they should do more to get more societies known and out there to the students. Overall good university.
