I'm happy with the uni lecturers and the materials
Very disappointed how University is handling the Pandemic with regard to other universities in Cardiff.
Cardiff met are a decent university
Env Health - 2 good lecturers, one sexist (female) boring part-time stand in lecturer - another with NO eye contact (How did that person get a job? Sporadic feedback, sometimes blunt and seemingly rushed. Truly wish I could assess their lecturing skills. Hit and miss university - try Cardiff Uni.
Studied here from 2014 to 2017, studying in Cyncoed Campus. Found the facilities very good, lots of study areas and a good library. The course was very good and support was available if needed from tutors. There are many clubs and societies available, especially their sports teams that are successful. Cardiff is a great place to live and there are many events and things to do.

Joke! Tutors don’t reply, feedback a burden in the main, all they want is £9k from you. Student services pathetic, unless you have a disability or are female! Foundation - don’t work, you’ll pass, everyone gets through as they want £9k to se you fail year 1 of a degree having not proven yourself in foundation.
Management Foundation - I recently completed my course - students are disruptive (taking and watching MOVIES on phones during lectures), which goes unchallenged as, quote, “they pay to be here”. Do not worry about attending lectures or trying, I watched a student look at his phone constantly in lectures, he was given someone to take notes for him eventually. He submitted last minute trash way below the word count, failed ALL assignments, yet was given a pass with NO resits???? It demeans the effort of others. You will pass with no effort as ‘they’ want your money to Go on to a degree course. The lecturers are ok, but directives and guidance are sometimes lacking, certain individuals are lazy and incompetent. What can I say? It is a joke that people are pushed into degrees, seriously lacking effort and as such will be disruptive to others taking a degree. I had massive aspirations and pride to be in Uni, but that was soon irradiated by the quality of fellow ‘students’...
Great Uni if you have no qualifications, but be prepared to have fellow ignorant student talking through lectures. Student Services are uncaring (in my circumstances). I am a foundation student.
