Good place to stay. Good flatmates. Nice staff
Overall, I must say that I had an extremely poor experience staying at Heathfield for last 8 months. Too expensive for what we get. Even the DUSA shops which are meant to be subsided for students are expensive. We have faced multiple time noise issues in our flat during quiet hours and the security was of no help. The mattress are the worst in the world I must say. I have had complained multiple times and was directed to disability services. We are not disable and the university must understand that. You cannot sleep properly, after a few weeks of usage, started getting backache, neck pain and improper sleep. It seems like I have not slept properly for last 8 months and another 1 month to survive. I can write further, but that would be waste of time. For 707 £ / month, this is far from being satisfactory. Interested only in timely payments but not service. I will never recommend anyone to stay in Heathfield for the money students pay. University must compensate for the agony
My experience has been good, staff are helpful and workload is not too difficult and there is enough time to complete work before deadlines. Mental health and disabilities services are great.
Good university. Someone can come to study for Medicine.

Very good place to study. I enjoy coming here as I meet new people. This nursing experience has been really good and i cant wait to study here again next year
Staff are great, very helpful when missing classes. Internet and electronic devices are good standard.
I’ve been here for almost a year and I believe that the campus provides students with everything they need to navigate through the academic year.
Good university, love my course.
Great uni for engineering and socialising
it’s been a good 2 years, lots of in person lectures now
Welcoming relaxed environment, staff are helpful for the most part.
Met some very nice people on my corse who were super friendly and we’ve been friends ever since
Great uni great lectures great clubs
It’s fine nothing special, I like the social spaces
a good place to enjoy your under graduate uni life.
MSI lecture hall is a bit cramped at times tight spaced aswell
The university of dundee is very good to study
Aye it’s decent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Really good university with brilliant social spaces and events. The clubs and societies are good and the campus if very big and green.
It’s okay abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz
lovely staff, friendly and welcomimg
Really great art uni, super social and in the perfect place in town
Student union needs seriously reworked but other than that it's a great place to study and live
The university of Dundee has been more than sufficient but the whole experience has been marred by student accomodation with dangerous and unliveable conditions
the university needs complete reorganisation
Great social life and amazing careers advisors. Having everything on campus is so handy and I didn’t realise how nice the atmosphere of a campus uni would be. Lecturers also very helpful and understanding.
everything is very compact and close so u never have to walk far.
I've not used much of the societies as my course doesn't really allow with time constraints/placements I find it hard, that's not on the uni though
campus is easy to navigate and good student life
Very diverse environment at the university of dundee. Wide options of societies and clubs to join. Nice food spots.
So far the university has provided me with everything I’ve needed. It’s got tonnes of societies and lots of events at night to go to at the union
Honestly loved being at Dundee uni. The library is fantastic.
Very welcoming and friendly staff, easily accessible campus but some of the layouts of the class rooms and lecture halls are confusing. Lots of amenities on campus.
The university is located in the student centre with good facilities and a friendly environment.
Good campus and good career service
Excellent. Helpful for my studying
Good communication however the curriculum isn’t as good as previous years
Covid has limited experience on Campus.
In my opinion, Dundee University is a great place to study medicine. With the medical school being attached to the Ninewells Hospital, this provides a great opportunity to be thrown into a clinical environment very early on. The system-based curriculum is taught through a mixture of lectures, small group work, tutorials, full-body dissections, as well as communication and clinical skills classes. Although sometimes the admin side and medblogs (the main website med students use) can be a bit disorganised, I have had a great experience so far. There are also a lot of support services available, especially for those from widening access which I am grateful for. Aside from the academic side, there are tons of societies and clubs to join and the nightlife is great! Dundee is very much a community at heart due to its smaller size, and everything is very accessible as it is a campus university.
Dundee uni has been great. Due to covid it’s been mostly online but the Dalhousie building is nice and the lecturers are fab
A great place to study and grow as a person. Lots of activities and events to keep you busy, and excellent support from staff. Many opportunities to develop skills provided by the University itself. Excellent choice overall!
I was only here for a one year postgraduate course but everyone was very welcoming and I had a great time.
University of Dundee is a great University to study at. It has a great student union and a great range of help for students, such as free counselling, carters advice and essay help.
Overall, I am pleased with the services rendered and opportunities provided. Though it may not be as grand as oxford/cambridge. It still had its own charm to it.
Good few problems llllllllllllllll
UOD is a great university in all aspects
the only thing I would complain about is the staff- uncoordinated and do not communicate with each other, some have too much pride and speak down to students asking questions, others dismissed my medicated mental health as a reason to become a remote student (which I have now, and I am much happier- averaging 70% across the semester, which just goes to show…)
Student oriented University. Faculty is good and approachable. Library is excellent.
Good university, good facilities, students union gone down hill quite drastically recently tho
My four years at Dundee were frankly dreadful, for my education at least. The uni is plagued by too many people in higher offices not doing anything to improve individual students - or even the university’s - position or wellbeing. In fact the uni has been so badly mismanaged it is facing bankruptcy unless it sheds countless jobs and a large number of courses. My course was a victim of both previous students not leaving good feedback about individual modules and the disciplines overall lack of ability to keep pace with changes in industry, a massive issue when it is Computing which is rapidly evolving (though some staff do make a good effort to keep their modules up to date). The student union (DUSA) may have won awards for best student experience, but this is solely for the nightlife it had provided pre-Covid. It saw itself exclusively as a nightclub and offered little to no support for students. Now it has stopped club nights, it still shows no interest in supporting students.
University in great location and offers great services. Staff always willing to help and the campus is definitely one of the best.
Fantastic internet throughout campus and accomadation, excellent libary facilities
Calm cuz i like the peice and wuite but ngl have met some questionable people
The university has mishandled their approach to teaching and exams during the pandemic.
Despite a long hard year of online study and no face to face classes, the university did let the main library stay open later for those with no access to needed resources. However, the DJCAD was closed most of the year making it difficult for students to use the DJCAD library and the art shop with no supplies in order to complete work.
Uni has been amazing, it’s so easy to make friends in the environment with all the events on.
Great university to study Biology, good teaching and facilities are nice. Most of the campus is within walking distance. I made some amazing friends and the student union offers lots of events.
very good university, good lecturers and staff.
No problems. Although because of COVID I wasn’t able to experience everything my university has to offer.
The staff are great and extremely friendly, you’ll love going here
Dundee is a great place to live and study even with covid restrictions !
The staff are always really helpful and quick to respond. Ian the property manager is easy to contact and has been a great help with any issues I've faced. The location is what made me choose Peterson Hall and I'll miss the convenience of it. Great place to stay with friends.
Good university with many things to do
High fee, bad experience, do not care about students. Bad racism report. Office filled with white people making decisions for others
I really enjoyed studying at the University of Dundee!
The university is all-round really good.
The best university for student experince
Not really hard much on campus time last semester due to covid so haven’t really experienced everything the campus offers.
I got to experience the University before and during covid. Beforehand it was good, difficult to find a seat in the library but a generally a good atmosphere and the union was a good night out. After covid obviously a lot of the uni was closed and I was only on campus to attend labs which I must say my lecturers worked hard to ensure we got back and could learn what we needed to. Though I know others were stuck at home and only working online and it was not the best experience. Overall I think the University is a decent place to be but that improvements could be made to online learning if it is to be somewhat long term.
everyone is very helpful and friendly
Great for student experience and social side
I feel like there is not much support generally. It's a good university in terms of the academic side but the student support is not great.
Unfortunately, due to covid, i can not really speak on many of these since everything was online and I couldnt actually use the campus, but what i know was great
Due to covid I've had very little in person learning although what I have had I have enjoyed and I am looking forward to my second year of studies.
Great university and location for students, everything is within walking distance, there is lots to do in dundee ! A lovely place to be a student
Fantastic university and brilliant campus in Dundee.
Can’t say that I have experienced that much of the university due to covid.
Although having studied throughout a pandemic with distanced learning, the city is decent with many opportunities to explore Scotland. In addition, the uni is very supportive of any concerns student might have.
it’s a great university. due to the large volume of students it’s harder to ensure good standards across the board but overall 8/10
Spent 5 years in this uni and enjoyed my time here a lot!
Dundee is full of places to visit and I really enjoy my course here. I am looking forward to 3rd year.
Very good student Union for nightlife and daytime social engagements
Nice place to study. It would be good if
Been absolutely satisfied with the University in general.
I just finished my first year at the University of Dundee but did most of my classes online. During the first semester we had some on campus classes, the campus in general is very neat and everything can be reached by foot. The Student Union and the Careers Service seemed very active, even during covid, but I do not have a comparison to last year. The wifi is very fast and worked in all the buildings I had classes in. There is a huge amount of societies and clubs at the University of Dundee but due to covid, most of them where not really active this year so I cannot judge their performance.
Haven’t been able to go in person all year, but still have had a good experience so far
Very good campus, especially great when lockdown isn’t happening
It is really nice place to live. Located in good place and environment is good as well
except for covid everything is great
The University of Dundee has a great way of teaching, as you can learn a lot without stressing too much. Furthermore, it offers a lot of opportunities to develop your degree and knowledge. On the other hand, Dundee is an amazing city for students, as everything is very close. Moreover, as there are two universities, it’s a really good place to be a student. Likewise, you’ll meet a lot of people and there is always a plan to do.
Overall I think my time in uni for first year has been interesting. The pandemic has definitely placed a giant stone in front of students, not being able to give us a normal experince. Although I felt like the uni tried there hardest to allow student to work hard and support student as well as providing a social uni life for them.
A good university with a great range of co-curricular clubs and societies.
Dundee University is a very friendly place that I enjoy studying at. The facilities at the Union are a great place to socialise. The library is a bright and open place that offers many floors where you can study!
Enjoying my time at Dundee University, however have had issues over the last two years regarding ambiguity with teachings, I have been dealing with it well but am aware of classmates who have found it confusing.
The student support isnt great except the funding services
Great and accessible facilities. Close to city centre and only walking distance from other attractions.
Great uni overall and great support in all aspects
As COVID has wrecked 2nd year of my studies, I will base my experience on 1st year. The University of Dundee is top tier with the range of things it’s offers such as counselling, night club, services (I.e. careers service, financial serves, etc.), sports opportunities, societies. Each location is of the utmost quality
It is a good university that has loads of societies so there is something for everyone
