I enjoy every bit of studies in Huddersfield
The university of Huddersfield offers a good quality campus with excellent technical services, it offers a moderately diverse array of courses. The staff are mostly kind and very helpful. The lines between the courses on offer are often blurred as too many courses are included in lectures, meaning that one lecture has to explain the subject to a diverse range of courses leaving the student questioning how the subject is applicable to their course. The university has a high staff turn over rate so it becomes hard to form a working relationship and damages student confidence. The university is clearly understaffed, I always feel like the lecturers are overwhelmed by the amount of students they are responsible for and are often unable to help individual students when asked. The university of Huddersfield has very poor student discipline policy, disruption, bullying, bad/ antisocial behaviour on campus and poor academic practices are often left unpunished and unresolved.
It's a great university for education and faculty is great.
