Fraser Studios Biography
Fraser Studios offer students in Aberdeen luxury living. It’s located just a fifteen-minute walk from the University of Aberdeen, a twenty-seven-minute cycle from Robert Gordon University and close to the main shopping area of Union Street which has a wide variety of restaurants and nightlife spots.
There’s a study area and communal lounge to hang out in with friends that has a smart TV. Alternatively, you can enjoy spending time in the cinema room or games space. As a resident at Fraser Studios, you get a free gym and swim membership at the Aberdeen Sports Village. You’ll also benefit from car parking and handy on-site laundry facilities (no excuses!), bike storage and vending machine. For you added benefit, there is WiFi, all-inclusive bills, onsite maintenance and CCTV.

Hi, Thank you for the question. The fridge/freezer located in the studios are a standard under the counter fridge with a freezer box inside. We do also have a communal american style fridge/freezer located within our ground floor common area!

Hi There, we unfortunately dont have a gym on-site, however we do offer a membership to the Aberdeen Sports Village as part of our tenancies. ASV is an excellent facility in easy walking distance, has a full gym, swimming pool and athletics track as well as much more! So even better!

Love it. I can walk easily to my university. Staff is friendly and helpful. Love them. Social events are fun and I love the food they gave me. Near Lidl so I can shop easily. Spacious room and conveniently equipped with a microwave, toaster, laundry room, communal area, study space and very systematic way to administer, great for the price. Totally worth it.

I am so happy to have found Frasers as my accommodation! Not only is the location ideal, but the spacious studios are amazing! My own ensuite bathroom and kitchen are just perfect for me and the communal areas allow for me to meet new people and make new friends! The staff is super friendly. Anything you need they are ready to help with or ready to answer any of your questions and concerns! I absolutely love it here and could not imagine living anywhere else while studying in Aberdeen!

The staff is very kind and will try their best to help you solve problems. Favourite maintenance staff, especially kind and enthusiastic. Sometimes there will be garbage in the corridor, but I hope you can pay more attention to protecting the hygiene of public areas.

We often send reminder emails and do door knocks to students to remind them that leaving rubbish outside their door is strictly not allowed and against the terms of their Tenancy Agreement. I understand that this can be frustrating if you witness it, however we do believe this is not a common issue here at Fraser Studios and if the issue does arise, we are prompt to deal with it and make sure it doesn't happen again :-)
The rooms are very clean, the staff are very friendly and it's close to the school. I live here with many of my friends and it's easy to go to school together.

I have been living in Fraser for two months now, I think it is very good in Fraser, not far from the school, the supermarket is also very close, thereception service is very good, and the entrance needs a card, so it is very safe, very suitable for students to live

I like this apartment very much. The people at the reception are very friendly. It is very comfortable to live here. There are often activities, and the atmosphere of the apartment is very friendly. I really like the bearded guy at reception (although I don't know his name), he is very enthusiastic to chat with me every time we met.

Great stay and hospitality. The house is spacious, bright and clean, the equipment is new, and the refrigerator can be heated by microwave after ordering takeout. The bath water is well regulated and does not get too hot or too cold. Cost performance is still high.

The staff at the front desk are all welcoming and responsible. They will patiently help you with your problems. The flat is conveniently located next to a Chinese supermarket and a large supermarket.

Generally speaking, it is not bad. It may be because of the epidemic situation and poor sanitation in public areas. Everything else is great.

I'm sorry to hear you feel the sanitation has been poor in public areas, however we do have sanitation spots at both entries of the property which are checked regularly to make sure they are never empty and also have some throughtout the building. We make sure all touch points are cleaned regularly and we also have packs of Hand sanitising wipes available at reception for students to take away with them. Keeping the staff and students safe and making sure the building is clean is prioroty for Fraser Studios, so hopefully the students know this and if they have any concerns then they know they can speak with any member of staff :-)
Staff are amazing, I've had a great experience living here, only thing that could of made it better was no covid so we would be able to utilise the common areas ect but staff have worked above and beyond to try and keep us entertained and interacting with people.

The team here has been absolutely welcoming and helpful, especially during the covid-19 lockdown. After a few days staying at Fraser Studios in Aberdeen I am convinced that it was the right choice! The apartments are really nice layout and its very comfortable to have an on-site bathroom as well as kitchen. In this way one can keep privacy - the social spaces, however, also help to connect with others. The atmosphere is really great, everyone is super helpful and friendly. I was welcomed very warmly, not only by the staff members but also by the other students! We catched up quite fast although some live here for a longer time already. Everyone is willing to help to get used to live in another city/country. The application process was very easy, too. Every question was answered very promptly so that my choice to stay at Fraser Studios was made very fast. I can recommend to live here as it makes studying in Aberdeen very comfortable!

I moved into Frasers over a month and a bit ago and I have been more than pleased with my choice of accommodation. The facilities are fantastic, the fact we get the gym membership with ASV its amazing (10 min walk from Frasers). The rooms are great, much bigger than I was expecting, only negative is there are only 6 power sockets (extension cards fix everything though). Finally, the staff are so friendly and are super helpful, Phil in particular he is amazing and is always helping and great for a chat. He's pretty cool!

I lived here for my final year. Really like the property. The rooms are spacious. The location is perfect; central to all the gyms, Aberdeen University, as well as the city centre. Personally I find it nice and quiet, which is what I wanted for a studio apartment. All the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful! Couldn't really ask for a better team. Any issues you might have are more or less resolved quickly .Very happy with my stay here.

I lived there from 2018 until 2020. It is absolutely brilliant to live there. There is a bus stop nearby, Chinese restaurant nearby, Lidl supermarket is literally just 5 minutes walk, if you want more choice for shopping, then 10 minutes walk to Morrisons. 20 minutes walk to city centre is straight forward, you will not get lost. Room is very clean and posh. It looked like it was designed for easy daily maintenance which is great. However, the downside of living there is the noise disturbance usually happens on the 2nd floor to the 4th floor. (The higher you go, the less noise disturbance). DO NOTE, that vacuum cleaner will regularly disappear by some irresponsible individual. MAKE SURE to join the Fraser Studio's WHATSAPP to keep yourself updated. The social space is just meh, you will eventually use it for study rather than hanging out. The receptionist is super friendly and super helpful. You can trust them with your heart! That is all I can say with 2 years experience.
Thanks for a great review! We appreciate the hoovers go missing from time to time, some people really like to keep hold of them! We are looking to remedy this so their is always one when you need it. Unfortunately people are sometimes a little noisy, but if it becomes unbearable dont be afraid to send us an email or pop and have a word, we can be very discreet in dealing with this sort of thing, and can often resolve things amicably.
I decided to stay at Fraser Studios based on the recommendation from a friend who had stayed here. I’ve enjoyed my stay and the experience has been seamless. The staff have been very helpful from the time I made enquiries till now. The location is great as well because it is central and easily accessible to key areas in the city, it also helps that there are bus stops close by. I really like that my parcels and packages get received for me even in my absence. The staff and management have been thoughtful and caring through out the lockdown period by sending updates and even a care package. If you’re thinking of signing up to stay at Fraser Studios, you’re on the right path, just sign up.

Moving to a new country for the first time is absolutely difficult especially with having a short period of getting the acceptance letter and booking accommodation. Even before arrival the staff were beyond helpful and patient (it took a while for me with documents etc). The staff (especially Phil absolute sweetheart!) have been nothing but lovely throughout the year. From just having a chat when it was difficult to make friends and being understanding which is something I absolutely value. Being away from home the first time they made my family at ease knowing I was staying at an accommodation with my own space and so close to places I might need to be. Although there are a few bits and bobs that need tightened such as the doors not locking at times. When you do email them they respond quite quickly and help out- especially Joe who is absolutely a great to talk to! I’ve been able to make memories thanks to events hosted by Fraser and I will be staying next year!

I choose to move into Fraser Studios in October of 2019 (after the semester had already started) due to issues with my landlord. When I initially emailed Fraser Studios the team were a fantastic help, replying quickly and answering all of my questions (there were a lot of them!). They also understood that Fraser Studios wasn't my only option, so held a space for me for a few days while I evaluated other options. Eventually I decided on Fraser Studios, after a fantastic tour from Phil, who was ever patient with me during the whole process. The team at Fraser Studios are friendly, kind, understanding and always willing to do a little extra to help you when you need it. They plan fantastic events (such as the get to know you night) and do extra little things that just make you smile (having scottish themed snacks at the desk for Robert Burns Night). If you are looking for a home, where the people who look after the building see you more as just tennants, choose Fraser Studios.
Covid-19: During the COVID-19 outbreak, Fraser Studios have made a special effort to keep those of us still living here informed of the current situation. We have recieved regular emails of what is going on. We recieved a small tote bag which included items such as a roll of toilet paper. These little things have really helped during this time.

Has been nothing but an excellent experience living at Fraser studios. Friendly staff that are happy to chat or help in anyway that they can. Are very accommodating regarding rent payments to line up with student loan and SAAS. 5/5!
Covid-19: They have been supportive for people who have left as well as those that remained. Have provided support bags with essentials for everyone which was a nice surprise.

Living here has been great, its no more expensive than living in a flat but there's the added bonus of dedicated study spaces and common areas like a cinema room. The staff are also super lovely and always make time to have a chat with you.

Honestly, it is my home away from home. First and foremost, it's only 13 minutes walk from the University of Aberdeen. Second, the team is extremely friendly and ready to help at any time. If you have any problem in your room, it will be sorted as soon as possible. The studio is spacious and perfect for a student. Also, it is a very luxury student experience if you fancy living in a contemporary establishment. It occupies a unique location. It is only a few minutes walk from everything you need; 5 minutes walk from Lidl and coop where you can do your grocery. Personally, my favourite part is that it's only around 7 minutes walk from PureGym. Fraser Studios is literally across the street from the major bus stops where you can take the bus from/to any destination, and most importantly the jet bus from/to the airport, in this case, you won’t need to carry your luggage for distances to catch the bus. Finally, security is guaranteed, all doors and gates work through key fobs.
Covid-19: Common areas will now be closed to help and support social distancing, and one person at a time in the laundry room, no guests are allowed in, and though the reception hours were reduced, the team is very responsive to emails and can contact them for any maintenance or issue at any time.

The accommodation team is helpful and friendly. Philip has always been there when i needed him and he never let me down. He has also helped me with all my problems.

I have loved living in Fraser Studios over the last year. It’s a very friendly and relaxed place to live with only a 10 minute walk into Aberdeen Uni campus. My room was spacious with everything I needed, tonnes of storage space and I was able to make it really homely! The facilities in Fraser Studios are also really great, with Washers and Dryers on sight to communal areas with table tennis and a movie room. There are also quite a few study areas too which are great. The staff are very lovely, always there for a chat and are always happy to help with any issue you may have!
Covid-19: The accommodation have been great, they offered a refund for the rest of duration of the contract. They also have been into the rooms every week to check that there are no issues whilst residents are not in the rooms.

I've lived in FS for two years - and it has been excellent accommodation. The property staff are all lovely and ready to chat at all points of the day. The rooms are a gorgeous wee space - with plenty of shelving and storage space. It initially seems quite expensive but when I booked my room, I found it to be the cheapest on the market for what was offered and you're entitled to free gym membership at ASV! There are plenty of social rooms to hang out with other people too - although I think I would have liked a few more social events to include everyone in the building (perhaps Covid-19 impacted that ability?). I would really recommend living here - and it isn't far to walk at all for Aberdeen Uni or the College (albeit there is a slight hill).
Covid-19: They were relatively consistent with their emails and updates on the situation, so that was incredible helpful. I just wish there had been more opportunities for reimbursement or cash back on our rent considering that half the amenities were out of service and so we were not having the full experience of what was paid for. But I suppose that's less their fault than the overarching company and they did their best where they could!
