I really love it here, the atmosphere is fun and typically good and the staff at the med school are extremely supportive and amazing.
The academic side has been fantastic; the Babbage Building for engineering is state-of-the-art and has definitely helped with my placement search. However, I’d recommend looking at private housing after first year, as university-managed halls can be pretty expensive for what you get. Administration can also be a bit slow sometimes, so you have to be proactive if you need help.
The campus based around and inside the city centre itself, which is ideal. The library is always busy though, it used to be open 24hrs but now most of it closes for the night, which is not ideal.
Pretty good university, lessons make sense, and lectures are really helpful, some lessons may be confusing to understands but they can be easy by looking at the DLE. bulidng are nice and modern, great spaces to study, and uni is located near the main city area, so it's close to eveything
This university has been very accommodating since the beginning, I feel safe, and that my opinions matter, and allowing me to begin my journey working in the NHS.
Good uni its out the way which provides a quiet atmosphere which i enjoy and allows the community of students to be more tight knit
Lalalalala it slays la la la la lall
It’s a lovely campus with lots of green space, the student union provided activities and events everyday and they are always such a good time
