This is my second year living in the reservoir as a rebooker. The location is honestly no doubt the best in my opinion. it is the closest to the uni campus as well as to the town center. you definitely get what you pay for. I've viewed countless studios and still think the reservoir beats them all in terms of size, price, communal spaces, management etc. One thing i would change is the laundry system. it is indeed a bit pricey, but most student accommodation uses circuit laundry so its somewhat expected.
I love that the city is centered around the uni
I have been a student at Plymouth for 4 years and now in my masters and each year the University of Plymouth has been amazing in every aspect of a students life.
I’ve really enjoyed my time at the University of Plymouth so far. I study Photography and the course gives you a lot of freedom to be creative and try out new ideas. The facilities are good, with studios, darkrooms, and editing rooms that make it easy to work on different projects. The campus is clean, modern, and really close to the city centre, so everything you need is nearby - shops, cafes, and the coast are all within walking distance. The Students’ Union has a friendly atmosphere, and there are loads of societies and events to get involved in, which helps you meet new people and feel part of the community. The university also has good career support - they help with things like finding work experience and planning for after graduation. Overall, Plymouth is a great place to study. It’s welcoming, creative, and has a really nice balance between city life and being by the sea. I’d definitely recommend it.
I've had a great experience so far
best experience from uni, couldn't ask for better time and uni
The university of plymouth had the best staff and facilitators and that essentially covers up for any issue that surfaces throughout the year. To summarize; whatever issue surfaces the staff and professionals here tackle it to the student’s best interest and comfortability.
everything is great and i cant complain
Plymouth is a very welcoming and friendly University. I have made so many valuable memories here. Though it saddens me that, through the years, the SU host less events
Many events held by the University and Student Union. Also there is student hub which helps students daily life not just studying.
