It is great to stay here with fantastic location, where only takes about 5 to 7 mins to underground and train station. Also, their staffs are really friendly, providing us with great service. Their maintenance work is really high efficient, normally fix everything within one day. If they can provide more discounts for the rental fee, it will be perfect!!!

What tenancy length do I need?
Some students choose to stay during the academic year, whilst others – particularly international students – require a tenancy that covers the entire year. You can also find student accommodation that is available for one or two terms, classified as a “short stay” on our search filters.
Should I stay in catered student accommodation?
This is totally up to you! Catered accommodation means you will be served meals at set times in a dining hall, and you’ll likely have access to fewer kitchen facilities than if you were to stay in self-catered accommodation.
What is a guarantor and do I need one?
A guarantor is a person who signs a contract to agree to pay your rent if you are unable to. Most university accommodation requires a guarantor, and this applies to both domestic and international students.
Will I need to pay a deposit on student accommodation?
Most likely, yes, you’ll need to pay a deposit. This will be refunded at the end of your stay as long as there is no damage to the room or property.
What bills will my rent include?
If you are staying in university-run accommodation or private halls, your rent should include any utilities such as electricity, gas, water, and internet. Students are not required to pay council tax, however you may need to fill in an exemption form so make sure you check with your local council.
What is purpose-built student accommodation?
Purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) are residential buildings designed for students. They are often located close to campus, boast modern facilities, include all bills, and often have staff on site to assist residents.
Will my student accommodation be furnished?
Student accommodation is typically fully furnished. Your room should include at least a bed, clothes storage, desk and chair. You’ll likely need to bring things such as bedding and kitchen utensils, but we have a full list here of everything you’ll need.

It is not worth the rent. To be fair, the location was generally convenient and very safe. The Wifi was fast, and the shower water was hot enough. The maintenance staff is definitely the best, always supportive, friendly, and helpful. The biggest issue for me is that it's not clean at all. On my move-in day, there were food crumbs on my chair, hair on the mattress, dirty corners, a bathroom extractor fan with fuzzy growths that I am not quite sure what they are, etc. I am not sure if anyone actually cleaned my room before I moved in. The bathroom was also extremely small and basically a built-in unit with a very shallow sink. I don't understand why this place has received so many positive reviews everywhere, just do yourself a favor and be aware of these issues.
I love living at Herbal Hill! It's a lovely, quiet spot and I never have issues with anything (like utilities, etc.). The standard studios are relatively small but it's the perfect amount of space for me. Herbal Hill is so close to many campuses and many other places in Central London are walkable, which saves me a ton of money on transport. I definitely recommend living at Herbal Hill!
Living at herbal hill is so easy. The onsite team handle all my maintenance requests so efficiently. I leave in the morning stop by the office and let someone know what I need. By the time I’m back from school it is usually all fixed. And they are always there to let me in if I forget my keys.
All the staffs are all friendly and helpful. Life is convenient close to the Farringdon station.

I've stayed here for half a year and it is the best student accommodation. I would highly recommend Herbal Hill Studios to anyone who is looking for accommodation and currently studying at LSE/KCL/UCL. The location is good, as you are close to the bus stop and the underground station, and it's only a 15-25 minute walk to school. It's safe and clean, with no traffic noise. The staff is always kind and helpful. It truly felt like home.
Rebooking was a breeze, so excited I get to stay for another year. I wish I could stay forever! HerbalHillStudios has everything I need is near to everywhere I need to go the staff are lovely and it is reasonably priced.
I love staying here, it’s right in the centre of London. Everything I need is close by UCL is within walking distance. The staff are always so nice. Kyesha has helped me with everything I have needed since I moved in. Will be staying again next year!
