Exciting and great experience.
Some key facilities such as printing for the campus, computing for STEM courses, and placements in said courses are deteriorating in availability to students. But overall the university functions well enough to be sustainable as the students societies and humanities departments are doing well.
Overall very good univeristy, but wish there was more societies for music for example.

The University of Bradford is one of the most welcoming and supportive universities.
I’ve been living on the green for a year now and it’s been a great experience the staff are lovely and are willing to help with problems and are understanding if you have a problem. The living area is spacious and accommodating to all, the living area is located just off campus but is a 5 min walk to the main uni building. Would recommend
The green is actually the best place you can be if you are a student of UoB. The management staff are always eager to assist in anyway they can. I’m glad I chose this accommodation.
My favorite part about the University of Bradford is the facilities and dedication of career support team

wifi stops working sometimes if theres lotrs of connections
Easy to find everything you might need and plenty of places to go to for help or guidance. Friendly staff ready to help point you in the right direction. Although, the campus shop is hilariously expensive for a University.
A small but diverse university that has a welcoming close knit community where you can meet some amazing people.
Magnificent it's a place to study
University is a time of academic exploration, personal growth, and new experiences. Students attend lectures, participate in discussions, and complete assignments in their chosen field of study. Beyond academics, they often join clubs, sports teams, or volunteer organizations to meet new people and pursue interests outside the classroom. University life also involves navigating social events, building relationships, and sometimes living away from home for the first time. Overall, it's a time of learning, self-discovery, and preparation for the future.
It was an alright experience overall
Exceptional service, everything works
Wi fi often clashes . The campus has been recently renovated and looks lovely. Career services are outstanding. Some clubs are run very poorly in the SU
Good uni overall especially around the area.
Great place to learn and explore as an international student!
If I have a good qualification, I need this university. I am so happy to be here.
Good experience but can be better
Nice environment everyone is helpful
Basic university with basic amenities. Library is old, can use some upgrading in study spaces and furniture. The group study space is extremely loud, often with students eating, shouting and playing netflix.
Beautiful campus with many options for activities, regular social events and an on-site gym/pool. The teaching is of a high standard and very accessible to those with impacted learning situations.
it is a decent university nothing too outstanding nor too horrid
University is great, with exceptional and great lecturers. The facilities are great and my year has been good.
Staff should be revised for the Computer Science course. Certain lecturers are unfit to teach.
Context: I am an openly lesbian international student from the United States. So after some crazy life situations, I spur of the moment decided to attend this university under the guise of an American friend of mine coming with me (her visa fell through last minute). Right off the bat, when I first arrived via coach from London it was evident that the pictures online are photoshopped and filtered to an unrecognizable degree. I have said since day one that Bradford looks like the Germans stopped flying over yesterday with how dirty and falling apart most of the buildings are. But that is the city itself, so here are some of my experiences at the university: -As previously mentioned, I am an international student from the USA. The university must have just seen the "international student" part and ran with it without looking at where I am from. Due to this I was placed in foundation year that taught basic mathematics and english as a second language (nothing wrong with that...
The university has great facilities and equipment for film and a really friendly su
A place like home, accommodating and you are treated with priority
My experience at the University of Bradford so far has been very great, the tutors are very supportive. The university work itself doesn’t overload and put pressure on you.
Best university ever. It is very accommodating and very student friendly university. I would definitely refer my friends.
Being an Erasmus student, I am having a great experience at Bradford university. It is providing the best services ever and is very student friendly university.
As a student and also an elected officer,I can say that the school is a wonderful experience to have.
Good university, however more facilities are required to improve student experience further.
It was an amazing experience to study in uni of bradford
Such a beautiful place and beautiful people I enjoyed my staying
the campus is the best space here. so clean and worth studying in there with good Wi-Fi connection.
This university is way more different than my home university, by different i mean in a very great way. As i never imagine that i can stay until midnight or even more than that studying or hangout with my friends
I'm so lucky to study here. thanks a lot for Iftar meal.
Facilities are great and there is a lot of improvement in the school. Had a lot of good moments with friends and learnt alot form the staffs.
Green plants and trees nice area around the cumpus
Overall it's not bad. I think more resources could be put on facilities and student welfare though.
The uni is very accepting of people from all over and is well diverse
Not the best uni but it’s ok, not much support
The university of Bradford got different clubs to join in your free time plus has good library facility with good equipments
The university of Bradford is a great place to study
The staff are very friendly and helpful. The accommodation is good and the area isn't bad.
lack of support from SU and poor communication from SU. Campus is somewhat acceptable.
No nightlife, and WiFi is adequate at best, however, the learning facilities are okay.
sometimes wifi is not able to connect
The WiFi is a bit fiddly but it’s nice
Sometimes can be hard to travel from one campus to another
Goood will be good here next year
Excellent university and i like the way the course is ran
Great accommodation Close to university Great social spaces
great university! did psychology and human resource management!
Good university for studies and social life.
The best accommodation ever. Lovely management and team ready to assist you any time. Feels cozy and like home nice environment good way to make friends everyone are friends
I am a part of many clubs and societies and I am very happy to be a part of the Student Union
A small but good campus with a lot of facilities. The uni has a great diversity. Easily accessible by public transport.
The staff are so kind and friendly and are totally focused and your success
Best place to live in Bradford.
good everything good good good
An overall good university with largely modern and aesthetic facilities.
I love the University of Bradford, it helps me to redefine myself. The quality of teaching is very very good. I love the environment and the facilities, the library is a wonderful place to stay and learn. Wow, I love the diversity of the international students. Very good leadership
The University has been helpful, even despite restrictions with COVID 19 restrictions
The university is very helpful and has great guidance on studying both at home and in school
The best university to study and learn things. I have enjoyed my study duration.
It’s very convenient and they have a very quick response to any questions or problems we may have
It's actually impossible to judge these right now because of lockdown sadly. But I can say that the library staff have been fantastic for me as a PHD student. But I cannot really judge the clubs since they are shut and I'm generally too busy for that anyway. My experiences of the laboratory have been positive. They are well equipped and hard working and I assume the internet is decent. The Student Union building is spacious. I have walked through it, but not used it much (lockdown).
I’ve really waited to study Peace in this university and this is so much good experience. Professors are kind and helpful. Due to the COVID, I’m not sure I utilise the all facilities but I’m satisfied with everything.
My experience in and around it as well as its staffs has been awesome
Great place for people who want to study and find new friends
The rooms are very spacious and with a good heating system. Reception services are welcoming and maintenance is very helpful, as they will fix your problem as soon as possible.
The whole university seems really friendly, I've found most places easily accessible as a disabled person, and many times they will make adjustments to make things easier as needed. The facilities seem amazing, I can't say much more currently as a lot of study is online due to covid. The only critique I would have is that a lot of communication seems to be last minute, and stuff gets changed at short notice. We were all promised we would have a large on-campus component to study this year, and I've had one in person class, total. Hopefully this changes in semester 2.
It is a great experience studying at the University of Bradford. The staff is friendly and the campus is beautiful and serene to studying. The library is well equipped and the campus is easy to navigate.
The university staff is very friendly and willing to help.
Great university so glad I chose this one
The uni within itself isn't to bad, it's the area which is a problem. I had to cut my studies short because i wasn't coping in Bradford. It's an awful city, and drives you insane. For the love of God go to a uni in a better city, i wasted a year of my life here and i still find the memory of this place triggering beyond comprehension. You are not safe, you are not entertained, you are not for for-filled. I imagine prison would have been nicer than what ever demon spat out that city. Also students here are very disrespectful within lectures, just talking and talking. If you love and respect yourself, turn back now!
I am doing my master degree, so, The University of Bradford is a place for students to improve their critical thinking. It has a lot of services for students, such as for their career and the language center.
The uni accommodation is atrocious. How are they making us pay rent when we no longer live in the accomodation.
The university facility is acceptable but needs improvement as some facility within the student union has not been fixed for sometime
One of best universities which I know
Good university. Love my course.
It's good. Internet could be better
Helpful staff and good social activities
Very nice Campus with buildings in close proximity so easy to move between lectures. Great library services. Student union needs a little more improvement in terms of nightlife though
The university it self is good quality theres shop near from 2min to 20min walk. The accomdetion it self its expessive but a fair price compared you have internet a bathroom a living room kitchen and a yard.
I am first year student ,the university has been good so far but they could be improvement in terms of student union and clubs /societies. the accomodation makes sense and have reasonable prices,if you want to save money Bradford is the best
The availability of various facilities at campus is appreciable.University has many clubs and societies to enjoy more and have fun. Both student union and career service are doing great to make students life better.
Plenty of support if you require it. Always something to do. Plenty of socials/ clubs to join. Staff are friendly. Convenient for lunch time meals.
Students union should do more activities I guess
Comparing to the other university the gym is pretty old and small, but has everything you need
Good University, neat lecturers and lots of places where you can chill out
The University was everything I ever wanted
It is nice. The lecturers are really kind.
I find the Support at the university Is very good and I have learned a lot while being here
University of Bradford have high-quality education and lecturer
Overall, university is okay with good city life. Provides enough computer labs for 1st and 2nd year students, however, for final year it is not enough with only 1 small dedicated lab where if lectures were to be taught student would have to leave the lab; hindering progress.
The campus and everything on it is brilliant. Most societies are very good, though some are a little weird about people joining. The SU are amazing, other than the sabbatical officers who spend most of their time harassing people or pretending they actually do something. Careers idk never used it. The internet is very fast, and WiFi is available everywhere on the campus
I should have chosen a better university, 4 hours a week for 9,000, ridiculous. The teachers don’t know what they’re doing. One module tutor changed the assignment 4/5 times within 2 months, and we still didn’t know what to do.
Nobody in our course can understand a word of what our lecturers say, and then 75% of the lecturers do not go on to explain themselves.
Enjoyed my time here and set me up well for working life.
The city is bad, the university is average. Main positive is how cheap it is to live there, but it’s obvious why the city is that cheap. Made good friends though through house parties as lots of bars have been shut down recently.
Just don’t go there. It’s all good until 3rd year then you get a random dissertation supervisor and no support
Throughly enjoyed my first year at Bradford. Good bursarys avalible for students and not so bad living costs, but little to no night life
People are great, lecturers can be
I had an amazing experience as an international student due to the following aspects: social experience, networking opportunities, business opportunities, library facilities, IT facilities, student interaction, friendly environment.
There are many societies you can join at uni which give you opportunity to meet a lot of amazing people. University by itself must improve organization And some modules syllabus (engineering).
Great university with astonishing diversity
Bradford has been a whirlwind but I sadly wouldn't advise coming here. Lecturers are friendly but what comes with that is they're very unprofessional. A few of my lecturers made up assignments saying they were graded and infact never existed - making us do twice the work for no reason. Facilities are okay too however good luck finding a decent quiet IT room to study in as there are very few places. You receive hardly any important notifications from the Uni after the first year, and in order to get any important information you have to ask around for it yourself, for example Evision, the portal where your results are released, wasnt updated until 2 months after it should have been and no body told anyone about why our grades werent there. Exam rooms are terrible, invigilators being rude and taking calls in the middle of exams, and other students banging on windows of the exam hall putting students off. Its just a very stressful environment especially if youre a commuting student.
Great course, could do with higher student numbers.
Absolutely boring and suitable for those that just want to study
Lovely campus with state of the art facilities. You will enjoy whatever degree you choose to do here.
Not bad, student union could be more representative to all students
A really great place to study! Lecturers are helpful! Sports are amazing- great fun! Only downside is nothing in the SU on a Saturday night!
Poor experience of uni life. Poor campus and facilities.
Feel really safe around campus. Onsite accommodation is excellent. Faculty of health is outstanding!
Amazing campus, lovely lecturers and number 2 in league table for Physiotherapy.
Staff are very helpful and enthusiastic Lots of society’s to join Union hold regular events
Although the city may not be the most exciting, the uni itself is amazing. Next level facilities and bounds of opportunities to further your knowledge and practical experience. There are many transport links to get you to Manchester, Leeds and other more exciting cities.
The university is great, both campuses are honestly amazing. They are clean, staff are very helpful, the library is 24/7 plenty of space to work, great facilities, great clubs to socialise and meet people
Load of rubbish, used to be good but has fallen short of expectations in the last two years.
Seriously gone downhill, has terrible student experience. They make stuff look attractive for Frist years but after the uni it pretty useless
It’s been an amazing experience! I’ve loved meeting such a fantastic group of people and doing such a great course!
Bradford University is very disorganised, they don’t tell you information when you need to know or bother telling you at all. It no longer has much staff left. I did not get any choice in my second year modules, like I was told I was going to. Module choices changed half way my degree, I did not get to do some modules I wanted to. I don’t know what I am paying for. The only positive is the staff are very friendly.
My experience was that they were VERY negligent towards me. I did my part to contribute to societies, the union, internships through the careers department, attended lecturers religiously, however received no accolades or support, in comparison to some other students. Personally, I wouldn't recommend it
Just graduated from the faculty of health at the University of Bradford and had the best experience at the university
Despite the low reviews, bradford overall has a really comfortable and homy vibe! Its like a small village, may not be the best in terms of resources and the like but it certainly has something larger universities don’t. All in all, i think anyone who goes to bradford will be pleasently surprised:D
AVOID! This university is unsafe. In the past 3 months there has been a gang of masked men attacking students on the university campus who have never been caught and two days ago a female was sexually assaulted on campus. I was followed home twice, many friends have been followed home/attacked. There is one man who sits outside accommodation and tries to grab girls but uni never do anything about it. This uni is unsafe and I cannot wait to leave.
University is loosing its positions. Tutors are leaving, half of those remaining are far from being engaging and are quite weak. Conditions are deteriorating without any satisfactory explanation. There are continuous delays in marking, books are no more provided. Very sad to be part of this now.
Wow... not even a real university just a very expensive college. Awful place save money and go to a proper place
Great facilities, great societies, wifi on campus is okayish, but in the accommodation it is just unusable. Never used career service.
Great facilities on the campus and in the halls. It's a shame that I was put with quite possibly the worst flatmates in existence! But the warden team is always there to support you with any issues. The wifi was very stable but very slow at times and does cost a lot to upgrade to a faster speed
Had a great time and was very comfortable in my hall
One of the best place to study in the UK.
I've been here for 5 years and loved it! Aspects of the University have improved in that time such as the facilities but the extra curricular elements still have a way to go. The University has a strong family feel to it with students coming from all over the world.
Happy to study here but horrifying to live at The Green.
