There are amazing facilities such as the great variety of societies that are so inclusive! There is almost a society for every activity, culture and career! The careers service is also incredibly useful where I received valuable guidance in my personal career journey.

A very good experience I really enjoyed
I cant add anything else aside from great campus and opportunities!
Sherren House is a charming gem with exceptional hospitality, cozy rooms, and a warm atmosphere. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure a memorable stay. Highly recommended!
This is a nice place to live. It feels a home.
I love my accommodation at Sherren house, staff really friendly
Very pleasant university with amazing communities and societies, very close to accommodation and witb good location within the city as a whole.
I really like it. I enjoy it I
Studying MSC:Investment & Finance has been a great experience.

A great experience where I learned a lot about myself and what my future holds for me.
Overall the university is good but does not have a lot of activities and events
The campus being so disjointed made it difficult for me as a Postgrad Law student to get involved in clubs and societies and participate in on campus initiatives. Most of these initiatives were held in the main campus while I was in classes 2 trains away at CCLS. It felt like a completely different school. CCLS was fine, nothing overly bad or good to report.
Finishing a 24hr exam in the middle of the morning and going to Canalside to see the sunrise over the water makes it worth staying up the whole day.
Queen Mary University is such an inclusive and amazing place to learn. The campus is in a great location and is the largest london campus which creates a community feel. The teaching is of a high quality and it is easy to meet lots of new friends.
The uni is the only ‘campus’ uni in London however it’s not very nice, it’s very small with not a lot of study and communal spaces. There’s a graveyard in the middle and it’s very grey
I enjoy facilities such as the library and there is always lots to do on campus
The University has many options and viabilities to choose from when it comes to courses and careers. Helped me in career growth and development.
It was great experience to study at QMUL being an international Student.
An amazing range of modules. My personal experience with professors and module evaluations was great and helpful.
Very good over for first year, just some facilities such as drapers could do with a revamp
Good uni specifically like the fact it is a campus
I have had amazing time throught the year and I am still enjoying my study time. Of course exam times are stressful. But the campus is fun. They have some relaxing activities. All the event throughtout he year had made uni life just as I wanted it to be.
overall a lot of activities and things to do on campus throughout the year but there could be more effort to advertise these to students
Such a warm environment, so many great spots on campus to unwind and relax!
Good experience in first year, hoping for better next year though
Queen Mary gave me an enriching educational experience, access to latest technologies and life changing career support.
Lectures are very friendly, they are always happy to help and offer careers advice. I frequently use the careers service to go over my CV and cover letter for applications, and they have also been able to squeeze me in to short notice practise interviews. I have been able to secure two interships this year!
Brilliant staff support and teaching!
I have really enjoyed studying at this University. It is very diverse and welcoming so everyone is really nice and ready to make friends. There are so many opportunities available to students to help with your future career and personal develop. The whole experience really helped me grow as a person. The only thing I don't quite like about it is that some of the PhD students that are hired to teach us some of the modules speak limited English therefore can't help much if you don't quite understand what they are saying.
As an international student, I was really worried about fitting in and making friends but the community at Queen Mary is so kind and warm that I really felt accepted in a heartbeat! I've really loved my course too. If you're interested in Medicine, I high recommend applying here. The academic staff are accessible and supportive, and you get to go on placement at hospitals that are part of Barts Health NHS Trust, the largest trust in the UK. The range of patients you get to meet are super diverse and I really think you'll become a better doctor because of it :)
I’ve had great 3 years at this uni, I would recommend it to everyone.
Overall it was the best experience at the University and I personally loved the Mile End Campus, even though I had all my lectures at the CCLS. Keep up with the good work. Kudos to your team and professors.
Cool, good experience, Great professional staff.
I found it really good. I enjoyed
I study zoology + it is quite niche so I understood in the 1st yr when we were grouped with other students like biology, ecology etc.. but then second year came around and I was still learning bio & eco based modules. Finally in my last year It is slightly more specialized but still not so much. I asked why we don’t have more zoology based modules for zoology students. Their reply was that it’s was due to a lack of funding/staffing. This really broke my heart to realize I wasted my money n if you can’t offer a good quality course (FOR A RUSSLE GROUP) they why even offer it? It makes me feel as though they care more for your money than for your degree. I recently complained about this to my peers who did biology, in which they ALL were surprised to discover I don’t even do the same course as them yet I am in every single one of their lectures. I feel like I don’t belong here or that im not smart enough (In college I got the highest grade and honorable mention so I know I’m capable)
Very cool campus, the social life at qmul is not for me but objectively it’s very fun. Many many clubs and societies to join
Good university with patient professors.
Very mixed social university, multiple campuses with lots of choice in terms of courses and pathways. Newly refurbished library which is great, some of the lecture halls could be refreshed but lots of study and social spaces with two coffee shops and food options.
Great well connected university.
Enjoyed my time at Barts and The London
Good, not bad, not excellent just good
best vibes amazing people lovely staff
thank the team leader Adil and reception Bea!
That is all ok and mental healthy center help me .
Excellent university. Alot of support to students and staff are great.
Very good and very happy.Everything is fine.
It is nice room.. nice stuff!!
In my second year so have already made connections. Was able to stay in touch with peers and colleagues through well run societies and a good community. Online teaching is still something to get used to but I’m very much enjoying my time at university
Great teaching environment. Helpful staff.
The lecturers are good however some are not suited to their respective subjects.
I enjoyed the campus life as it had everything available within walking distance
I am doing study abroad with CIEE and my college is in the United States, Barnard College.
Very supportive staff and passionate.
The university is good and facilities too, but social aspects not so much and wifi not great.
Overall good experience. Wouldn’t have asked for anything better
Great very good university in london
Really good campus and helpful staff
The campus is under construction in most parts but the facilities are good for what needs to be done, I wouldn't say it's outstanding. The internet and wifi connections has its moments of not working but not too much. The student union and careers service are both amazing.
QMUL is a great university with good opportunities to build skills for the future. The teaching is good. In the law school they are very supportive. However, I would say there is a big focus on corporate law which is not for everyone and some students feel there is a competitive culture in trying to get placement schemes.
Good university and amazing staff
I've very much enjoyed my time at Queen Mary, very supportive staff.
Truthfully it is hard to give a fair and well-rounded review of QM considering the amount of missed teaching. Through the 4 years, I have been studying at QM, I am lucky if I have had 10 weeks of uninterrupted classes/teaching. Whilst the pandemic was unprecedented, and I have to give some leeway for the promptness they adapted, my in-person education has been far from value for money. The teachers are great at what they do, though some are clearly there for research and care little about teaching UG, and are often very helpful and willing to help you succeed. The SU is decent, puts on a lot of events and their societies are great ways to get involved. I also have a lot of praise for their Go Abroad office - they're fantastic! Overall, if I hadn't studied abroad, and been so proactive with networking outside of uni, I don't have much to say about how prepared I feel for the workplace. I will have a degree, which may help increase my salary in the short-term, but what a waste of money.
It ia good University and has as large campus
Great place, very friendly, safe. I always have a great time
Great campus university and very friendly. Easy to locate buildings and many visual aids to get around
It’s a great place filled with innovation and creative minds.
It is a really nice university with a great campus area. Only negative is the location of the campus. Clubs and societies are amazing.
helpful staff and interesting campus activity.
I like the uni, especially the people I meet there. The library is great too
Amazing university for computer science students
Good good good good good good good good good
Our professors are very resonable and they are very careful. They care us a lot.
It is ok for me . Need to be improved but it is ok.
I am really happy with my university experience. You have to work hard but you have enough time for societies as well.
Overall very good but it feels a lot fast paced sometimes.
Everything is fine! I really love my university!
good, really fit to study and live in here
A good place to study and have entertainment.
Good experience as a postgraduate student
Studying at Queen Mary is a great decision I have ever made!
Glad I chose this university for my LLM in Technology, Media and Telecommunications. Great resources with seasoned lecturers in various specializations.
I am LLM student, the only thing is I wish my classes were conducted in the main mile end campus other than the LIF. I don't have a proper international student vibes there in LIF. Kindly conduct the LLM classes in Mile end.
Great campus. The only problem is full of indians. Go for kings or ucl
QMUL has very good linguistics department, professors are all helpful and very patient.
I love being a student at QMUL! The staff are so nice and genuinely interested in your well-being. The classes are great and encourage you to think for yourself and even think beyond the scope of the syllabus. I didn’t expect to settle in so quickly, being an international student, but I found that everything was made easy for me and I’m super grateful! I’d definitely recommend this school to anyone.
Attended lots of school events and activities, having a busy and lovely study life and meeting nice people.
Need better technology on campus. A good telephonic service is must.
The University is outstanding. I have received a lot of opportunities from the same
Moderate and close to good. I like being a student here
The modules are great and the classroom environments are really good.
Great learning experience and fun to hangout. Canalside is the best hangout place in the university.
Its a good university ………………….
Need more practical’s and more support from the fees department
university facilities are okay. but wifi is terrible
The Best University ever! Lucky to be the part of it. learning alot of things and yes pushing my self towards success
My experience at QMUL has been amazing till now but I feel the career department should play a more important role when it comes to job opportunities.
Great, hopefully good placement for pg students
It is a very good university with a great faculty.
Queen Mary university is a really good university
Good university, the teaching is good! Enough spaces to chill and study are well defined
it's a wonderful university and the staffs are kind
A good place to study with the good facilities especially for the private study room in the library is brilliant
The campus location is fine Campus itself is fine Facilities are fine QMUL is just… fine
It’s a good University with good staff.
best uni ever love qmul so much
Good, amazing, great student life
Overall Awsome experience at the university with lot of diversity around
Always on strike! Loved the law department!
Not sure why the quality of teaching isn't rate-able above, so I've given 2 stars to everything to compensate. My MSc has been a very frustrating experience. The academic registry and the course itself have been extremely poorly organised - I was charged the wrong fees twice, I missed choosing a dissertation I liked because of admin error, nobody has any idea when or where things are happening. There is zero communication from college to student, and faculty ignore my emails about potential dissertations. The entire thing has left a sour taste in my mouth. Avoid here, and possibly other Russel Group universities which are striking at the moment, at all costs.
good uni accomodation is just relly poor
Facilities for drama not that great, we have a whole theatre on campus we are not allowed to use and all the rooms are always booked up. We do not get any personalised help on career other than careers site but talking about performance and entertainment industry they do not push you into opportunities we only get emails once a week about jobs available but no specific help. I have not met barely anyone in my year, the social environment is empty. There’s no opportunities to make friends as a new student. Especially after covid there was no meetings or talks welcoming us back. There was no community we just had to get on with it and adjust.
It’s a very good university I feel
Well-versed professor, but severely lacking social space.
Convenience to travel have an great environment
Excellent campus, but it should have library for all students
Room for major improvement in terms of online access and tech. Regularly lectures are uploaded with no audio which means large portions of knowledge can be missing.
Poorly run university. It is technically a business who use students money, but do not innovate on the course teaching or care about their education.
Good uni with great courses, only downside is that the area is rough
It’s a good university for those keen on having a balance between having fun and studying.
Professors at university is very helpful and keep Kosten track on your study in progress, University facilities are very great with up to par Wi-Fi and accessibility.
I study global public health here during my intercalation year, I really enjoy it!
QMUl is a good uni, they have excellent research and most courses are very well organised. Although the area isn't ideal, central London is only a stone's throw away.
Very supportive staff ! Happy to study here!
i’ve lived on campus and i really enjoyed the atmosphere as well as the opportunities ive been given. the education in my experience has been very productive and they have made online learning very enjoyable. the facilities and the social opportunities are great. Never a dull moment on campus. The fact that it’s just a mile away from central london has made my study abroad experience so much more enjoyable. The staff at the university and on campus are very friendly and welcoming.
I am not sure otherwise but experience during lockdown was pathetic.
First year of QM was mostly online for my course but there were opportunities to go onto campus. Clubs and societies still continued as much as they could with covid so that was really nice. The careers team was very helpful in letting us know how to reach them if we need to book appointments or talk to anyone, especially for those planning to do placement years.
Bad Career advice for students, lack of support for students during unprecedented times (e.g. COVID-19). No support for students from overseas. The WiFi is bad as well.
I have really enjoyed my time at QMUL - particularly my course!
Queen Mary University is a good university in terms of campus environment and societies. However, it could use better security since a lot of muggings/ stabbings have happened on campus
The campus facilities are very helpful when you need a place to sit and work or use the library area. And the student union ran events are always a barrel of laughs
The lecturers are great and helpful, the TAs know what they’re doing and the campus is one of the best in London.
Had a great time, amazing student experience in London.
Overall good university, I have enjoyed my time here so far
Great, campus environment but still in London !
The classroom atmosphere is very good. The teacher is very humorous and helps us to solve many problems in our study and life
Pretty sizeable campus for a uni in zone 1 of London.
Nice friendly place, some areas do need improvement but that can happen over time
Excellent university. Extremely helpful students union.
Really good university , with amazing facilities and help whenever needed .
Great opportunities for job experience
Good, pretty impressive taking into account the campus is inside London.
one of the most unprofessional places I have come across! No diversity or equality in staff at the top so how are they going to support the students who go there???
In terms of maths department, from a maths perspective it's like the faculty is almost deliberately unhelpful. To be so difficult to reach and lack any direction in terms of content, difficulty, additional support, if I was managing this outfit, I'd have to consciously be trying to make a pig's ear of it.
QMUL is a great uni from many point of view. However, on the suggested topics above I have to say that the Careers Service is TERRIBLE. Been there twice and each time it felt useless.
goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooood
Good place to study highly recommended
great school, wonderful staff!
Beautiful campus, great location as local to central London as well as giving students the full experience of the east end. I met really lovely people through societies and social events(so many clubs to choose from)! Wifi is okay but could be better.
The campus was already beautiful (surrounded by a park and close to the canal) but it has become even better lately. It has many new facilities. People are overall very friendly and always available to help. The quality of the courses is excellent especially for Law, Medicine and Drama. It is also a Russel group university with the advantages of the opportunities available in London! I would highly recommend to study here!
I studied here for three years (Graduated with a First Class in Biomedical Sciences) and I have enjoyed every second of it. I honestly don't understand the reviews written before, they seem from people that have never been there because qmul is very very loved by its own students. For what concerns teaching, it's excellent. We were thought by experts in the respective fields and our knowledge. Lectures were always very interesting and teachers always willing to listen to improve or change according to the student's requests. For what concerns its campus, it is really nice! It is probably the only Russel Group university in London to have a real campus and it is lovely as students can have a coffee, go to the library, meet friends or or make new friends all the time. The environment is very friendly, there are many services to help students so you can never feel alone or left out. The facilities are also great as they have been investing a lot of money lately. Overall I loved it!
Lecturers don’t care about you, don’t help you out. Feeling of being very alone and the actual university is very segregated everyone sticks to certain groups doesn’t feel very welcoming. I did 2 years of biomedical science and I hated the course it made me hate science
Good atmosphere friendly environment
There are plenty of facilities for students and constant support to direct students into the career they're looking for
Library is far too small, and also ugly-looking on the inside. Campus does not have enough study areas. Also they do not have an ice hockey society. Admin is terrible
Facilities and Clubs are pretty okay, the wifi sometimes acted weird in certain lecture halls in the campus.
I have to travel quite a lot on public transport for clinical work, I don't know why the Uni is so spread out here and there, but I don't mind it too much. QMUL campus is nice, Barts hospital is awesome but unfortunately the Royal London Hospital and the Blizard building is not in a good part of London, location wise if you are looking for a good location, other unis are better.
The campus is too small to accommodate all of the students and there are constant issues with heating. Additionally, the construction on campus disturbs the lecture theatres. In the year previous, the School of Business and Management has under 80 students and this year it jumped up to 210 students. Due to this sudden influx and arguable greediness, the school is unable to organise lectures effectively. This has resulted in some lectures to run to 8pm.
amazing university, have had the most amazing time of my life! if anyone was considering to study here, I would not even think twice about it. people told me how university would change my life, which I didn't believe. but it has truely changed my life !
I have joined some societies but find it difficult to keep in touch with them
Campus based uni extremely close to central London, amazing night life avalible and great career opportunities
Great supportive university in London.
Nice uni Lots of friendly people Good location Loads of amenities Close to central London Lecture theatres are nice Good library
One of the best campuses, I've been to.
Amazing location with an amazing campus. Great facilities and great teacher along with truly competent staff! 10/10 would recommend
Absolutely great, really friendly and convenient for nights out in London
My stay at the uni for my MS degree was superb with all the required facilities at my disposal.
Staff super helpful with plenty of opportunities and facilities
Excellent place to develop academically, professionally and socially. Loved the being in a true campus right at the centre of London. Graduate 2003
Finest English teaching in the world!
Have been having a great time :)
Great school! Love my degree course and everyone is very welcoming and helpful.
Beautiful and relaxed atmosphere
Nice diverse community, lots of societies to join and take part in, relaxed atmosphere around campus
Nice and social uni, a lot of friends opportunities
Awesome university, awesome people, awesome teaching
The best year of my life so far on campus
