Nottingham Trent Students’ Union (NTSU) forms the heart of NTU’s student population and co-ordinating a huge range of support services with a buzzing social life across campuses.

With over 120 societies covering culture, hobbies, academic interests, and wellbeing, NTU offers a wide range of extracurricular opportunities. Get involved in language learning, media and music, volunteering, leadership roles, student representation, enterprise challenges, and sustainability initiatives.

With more than 60 sports clubs ranging from competitive teams to inclusive social sessions, NTU offers exceptional sporting opportunities. It has been named Sports University of the Year and year after year ranks in the UK top 10 for sport (BUCS league table).

Degree Apprenticeships at NTU

Degree Apprenticeships offer an alternative route to a degree and a rewarding career within your chosen industry. An apprenticeship combines on-the-job training with academic learning. It leads to a nationally recognised qualification and provides you with the opportunity to acquire the relevant knowledge, skills and behaviours to be fully competent and confident in your chosen area of work.

NTU offer a variety of Degree Apprenticeships, ranging from level 3 (equivalent to two A level qualifications), through to level 6 (equal to a bachelor’s degree) and level 7 (equivalent to a masters qualification).
