Very good university, everything is good
Studying at the University of Ulster has been a wonderful experience! The faculty has been very welcoming, accommodating, and open-minded. Learning about education in Northern Ireland has been incredible, as the faculty has offered campus facilities for our use and has taken us to many places to explore the culture of Northern Ireland. The experience has been absolutely wonderful! :)
Your experience at UU really depends on what campus you’re on. Having studied on the Magee Campus for the last 3 years, I’m very disappointed and don’t feel I have gotten my moneys worth for a uni experience. Staff were always very supported and tried their best but there’s only so much they could do with the very limited resources and support you get from the uni itself. Very little clubs and societies on campus, with many being inactive. Little to no events on campus and the accessibility is shocking! Not an award winning uni.
I had an absolutely amazing time at Ulster University! From studying my BSc degree for 4 years and now finishing off my MSc degree, the staff were so supportive throughout! The careers team are so so helpful and friendly too. I was based in the Belfast Campus and I loved it so much and am sad to finally be leaving after an enjoyable 5 years. I recommend Ulster University to everyone based on the amazing campuses, supportive staff, opportunities and great learning environment!
My experience at Ulster University has been absolutely amazing! From the very beginning, I felt welcomed and supported. The staff are incredibly friendly, approachable, and always willing to help—whether it's academic guidance or just a friendly chat, they go above and beyond. I truly loved my time here and feel grateful for all the encouragement and positivity I received throughout my journey. I couldn’t have asked for a better university experience!
Very good. Everyone very helpful
Very good university. Excellent career services, opportunities both global and local, funding, teaching and general support. Personally, as someone with ASD, disability accomodations and services have been incredibly generous.

Came from a small school and settled quickly thanks to welcoming environment
College of medicine and dentistry very bad
Could offer more support for apprentices. As a degree apprentice I don’t feel like a true student and fully apart of the community at my University. Maybe they could have more events catered to apprentices.
I don't have access to the uni wifi. The campus is small. No societies or any social activities.
The four years has been great, the staff are so helpful and always willing to help. A lovely atmosphere to make friends, making the uni experience so much better.
This is for Ulster Univeristy - Belfast. Great location, good facilities and, lots of space for revision while grabbing food or a coffee from one of the shops inside.

Great university. Welcoming staff and a lot of nice students attend here.
Great, friendly staff and welcoming positive environment
Love the uni great craic cheap pints and better than Queen’s
Lovely campus friendly staff great accommodation
University is an overall enjoyable experience
Great campus with modern up to date facilities and approachable lecturers
Ulster university is a decent uni but it seems the entire place is made to cater to international students, the accommodation is simply unaffordable (it costs more than what you get from student finance) and everything costs way too much money even working a job it is still difficult as a result of the inflated prices from internationals who get far more financial support compared to locals. Don’t expect to come here and survive without financial aid from your parents if you’re studying full time.
Excellent facilities and helpful staff
Brilliant rooms, nice and quiet makes it easy to study!

It is a well pacted University where majority of the courses are together and not too far apart from each other. It creates unity amongst other courses and not just your own.
