Riverside Point Biography
At Riverside Point you have a local bus service that takes you to the University Park campus or Nottingham Trent University city centre campus within twenty minutes. UoN’s Jubilee campus is a short walk away and nearby you will find cafes, bars and Nottingham’s pre-WWII cinema.
St Peter’s Court is just around the corner where you can go and use the gym for free. The common area is a great space to hang out with friends and enjoy a game of pool, foosball and ping-pong. Alternatively, you can enjoy the warm summer days by relaxing outside on picnic benches. Inside the building, you can find a handy vending machine for when you fancy a snack and a communal study space to make use of during exam time. Parking is available on-site as well as at other properties (extra charge).
All rooms at Riverside Point have their own private bathroom. Residents have a choice of staying in an en-suite room with a shared kitchen and living space or in a studio.

I have been living in this property for over 6 months now. The staff is really helpful especially Courtney, Craig, Macy, Rich, Klaudija and Tiahana. The staff goes above and beyond the call of the duty to help students. I feel the staff has been a major support system for most of the students. The overall management of the property is good and the events organised are a great way for international students to feel home away from home. Scope of improvement: Frequent cleaning of outdoor spaces. Proper outdoor furniture More study spaces for students

Definitely DO NOT choose this accommodation, you will be very angry. The staff knocked on the door very rudely at 9am (did he think he was the FBI?) and yanked my mattress away (I was even sleeping on the bed). The management team was incompetent and disorganized as the staff did not email me the day before to tell me that the mattress would be replaced.
A great location if you study on the Jubilee Campus at University of Nottingham but not so good if you study at NTU City Campus. Otherwise, it is a good accommodation with friendly staff who will support you with your needs.

I have really enjoyed staying here, it’s a super convenient location to get to university and to town and the people working at reception are absolutely lovely! I was just in this morning asking for help to print off some things and Lois and Nicky kindly offered to print it for me for free and then gave me some chocolate because it was Act of Kindness Day! Everyone working here are genuinely kind and friendly people and have been so helpful and welcoming.

10/10 reception, love the vibes, they look after us when we get locked out. Nicky, Abi, Lois and Wendy are especially nice. As well at the security guard Ian who is like our best friend. They are always very friendly and look after us.

The studio is very high cost performance at a reasonable price, room is much bigger than other accommodation with a sofa. And it’s convenient to collect a parcel at reception. There are also many funs in common area. And bike parking is convenient.

What is forgotten is that they have construction going on all year until the summer of 2023. They don't mention this because of the extreme annoyance it causes - The entire building shakes (sometimes things fall off the shelf) and rattles the radiator which is comparable to the sound of a half-broken car starting up.
worst social experience (flatmates dropped out or were second year and initially was in a flat of four 18 year old girls and one 35 year old man and this took ages to be dealt with despite loads of complaining(however staff are really nice)) wifi good and en-suite is nice but right next to train tracks so it’s loud and the curtains are clapped. it’s hard to get to know people who live on campus as they all seem really chummy but rivs flats are quite quiet
worst accom ever... they took my £1000 deposit and claimed that I never pay that and I cannot provide evidence because I was booking through the school which initially a lot more expensive than what it should be... I was having the most basic ensuite room which states £93 a week(two years ago) but I was actually paying about £180 a week... I have to share the flat with 3others girls and they all international student and gone earlier due to Covid and left all their shxt in the common area and I think the company counted on me and hold my deposit
