Knowing i can rely on coming home to a happy friendly place is definitely up there with how much I appreciate living here. If i could give more than 5 stars I would. Inside the building, you can find all the necessary facilities and amenities for an enjoyable stay. During the warmer months, you can take advantage of the outdoor area. I had a productive academic year staying in peterson hall. Internet connectivity and room facilities are high standards which makes studying easy. The Hall is very close to campus, plus its in a quiet and safe environment.

Shayne Taylor is the best manager ever I can't stress how lucky me and my family are to finally find somewhere that feels so safe, I stayed at marketgait apartments, IQ etc, at marketgait apartments I dealt with elevators breaking for hours with a girl inside crying and having anxiety and also a thief breaking into rooms bc no security, at IQ accommodation I dealt with a security who followed me everywhere and finally into my room at 3AM using the master key for no reason, at Peterson Hall I never faced any issues and I even worked on myself a lot bc its a very peaceful place with so much good vibes that really pushes you to change negative habits and adopt good ones. I can't wait to stay here again and I'm so glad that the manager is finally someone who cares about students welfare and supports when can. The managers are really friendly and helpful. Roseangle is a really lovely street. And the location is very convenient, next to Tesco Extra, within walking distance to train station and city center. Living in Dundee is actually a wonderful experience of my student life. The facilities are pretty new, compared to my friend’s accommodation in the uni.

Peterson Hall is an amazing place to live. It is very close to Dundee University and a wide variety of shops and restaurants. It is clean and well managed and the staff are lovely. I am very excited to stay there again next year, the security gates and locks on both flat and bedroom doors make it a very safe place to live and leave me without stress of anything bad happening.

Constant fire alarms, often for no reason, especially in the middle of the night. I have had to ask everyday for 9 weeks for someone to fix my window since I only have one and it won’t open and still no fix! Horrible management of properties and all talk, no delivery. Makes for a very unpleasant and stuffy bedroom, my only personal space and impossible to study effectively in those conditions too which is very disappointing

I have stayed in many student accomodations, and Peterson Hall is the best (besides West park villas, if you are in first year). They have the best quality rooms and facilities. However, there are some issues. There is nobody here overnight. When a fire alarm goes off, you may be waiting for an hour or more in the cold in the early hours of the morning. The fire alarms are sometimes faulty. My flat was blamed for it before they sent someone to fix them. If you are a Chinese exchange student, these halls are very friendly. There are many other Chinese students here and they are put in flats together. However, please be aware that the images Peterson Hall use online are photoshopped. I asked for a room high up and I got a ground floor ro. My girlfriend is Chinese, however studied in the UK, and so asked not to be put with other Chinese students or an all girls flat. They did it anyway. Great accomodation, but please remove false images online as they do not represent the halls.

Very clean, calm, modern, close to all shops, restaurants and uni, I moved to Peterson Hall cause the manager Shayne Taylor is literally the best i've stayed with amongst the three accommodations I stayed in at Dundee. absolute safe and class place, love every bit of it and excited to stay here next year as well! 10000/10

Nice accommodation. The bed is comfy. Kitchen is good. Just not any real social spaces for the 3 bedroom flat as it doesn’t have a sofa. My chair is also a quite flimsy and is unsupported at the back but it’s fine. The location is fantastic though and the view from my bedroom is very nice.

I am a post grad student here in Dundee for a year. My course started earlier than most Undergraduate courses and Peterson halls were great in accommodating me with a 2 week summer let before they officially opened for the academic year. It is great value for money, all bills are included (including WiFi) which is a huge relief with the crisis in energy prices at current. The location is perfect for students at Dundee university, it is a short walk to any part of the university campus. There is also a large Tesco about a 11 minute walk away which is very handy for doing any food shopping. There is plenty of food places and pubs around about the area too. The train station is not far too. The flats are well maintained and very modern, the communal kitchen/ sitting area has everything you possibly could need. The bedrooms have loads of storage and all the facilities you need for studying from home. The staff are great too, very friendly and welcoming.

The reception and hospitality team are really kind, welcoming and helpful. My move in was hassle free and my flat was clean upon arrival. I'm happy with my room because it is spacious, bright and modern. The kitchen is spacious and mordern, good size for 6 but there are only two bathrooms in the flat and may be difficult for 6 people to maintain. The price of the flat is reasonable for the services offered.

Bedrooms, toilets and kitchens are modern compared to other accommodations. No common area for all flats to meet expect the office/reception so was hard finding other 1st year flats to be friends with. Cleanliness wasn’t the best when moved in. Found out that other flats had things ours didn’t (even though we paid the same price) a sofa, 2 bins, better microwave ext. building work has gone on for well over the allocated time frame with builders waking you up at 7 in the morning by then shouting outside ur room. Overall the accommodation is good, wouldn’t say it’s the best value for money but if u make ur room nice it’s homely. Jill,Jim and joe are lovley :)

Would not recommend this accommodation, especially for final year/ postgrad students! The biggest issue is the noise. The noise from surrounding flats is awful- it’s sometimes so loud it sounds as if there are people moving around in your room. This issue was mentioned to the site manager several times and nothing was done about it. Also the fire alarm goes off during the middle of the night almost on a weekly basis and as there is no staff on site during the night it can take a very long time for it to get turned off. Also there has been work being done on the roof for months which again is extremely loud and makes doing uni work from the flat impossible- would have been good if this work was started nearer the summer break so it wasn’t as disturbing for students! Several flats also flooded really bad during my stay and the site manager wasn’t contactable for several days meaning I had to deal with this myself. Overall not worth the money as this accommodation is very expensive.

I stayed here for two years and would do it again. The flats are very modern and in a very good condition. I lived in a 6 person flat, so we shared the 2 bathrooms and the kitchen. There is enough space in the fridge/freezer and cupboards for everybody. The rooms have a lot of storage space and a very big/comfy bed. It is right next to Magdalene green and the University of Dundee. The big Tesco and Lidl are about 10 minutes and it's about 15 minutes to the city centre. The only negative thing are the weekly fire alarms in the middle of the night but that's not something the landlord can change, that's just part of the student experience ;) They also managed to reduce the waiting time for fire alarms, from an hour outside for it to be turned off now it's around 15 min. There are not many social places other than the garden but that one is pretty. And it's close to many pubs. When I arrived everything was clean but regular cleaning is not included. Would definitely recommend!
Living in halls was an amazing experience, I was felt welcomed and safe the entire time. The landlord -Ian was amazing to us helped as much as possible and was very respectful.
I enjoyed my time at Peterson Hall. The flat was clean and had enough storage space. The management, especially Ian the accommodation manager, were friendly and helpful. Maintenance issues were resolved quickly. The location is great too, a 5 minute walk to campus and close to food shops.

I lived here during first year and loved it, the distance is perfect for students as it’s right beside DJCAD and UoD, loved my room and met lots of good people and the landlord Ian is very helpful. Would highly recommend.
The rooms are fab for student accommodation (they’re huge) but the layout of the flats is very odd and feels cramped. The (shared) bathrooms are a bit of a state. The social life for me was non-existent and I felt very isolated, even though I’m quite a social person. And I had to pay extra to be able to connect my printer up to the wifi !
I stayed in Peterson Hall for two years and the staff have been really helpful and understanding for all my problems and enquiries. Ian is always easily reachable and quick to respond. The location is also one of the best compared to other student halls.

Great place to stay! Location is perfect, not far from the city centre but not too noisy. Plenty of space and storage. Management is easily accessible and any issues I’ve had (for example broken shower tray) have been fixed quickly.
Both the kitchen and the rooms are very spacious. The rooms are nicely furnished and are full of drawers and shelves, so there is enough storage for everyone. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Another huge advantage of Peterson Hall is that there is a washing machine/dryer in each flat.
The best accommodation I had throughout my undergraduate studies. The location is extremely accessible which was particularly important for me as I spend a lot of time in the library. The area is safe. The rooms are very modern, clean with a lot of storage space and were newly renovated when I first moved in. The management are very nice, responsive and are always willing to help! Overall, I really enjoyed my 2-year stay at Peterson Hall.
Peterson hall is the best student accommodation in Dundee, as far as I’m concerned. It literally lacks nothing. I moved in, in second year and I had zero complaints, best decision I’ve ever made!. The staff, especially Ian at the reception, are very friendly and super efficient, the surroundings are peaceful and beautiful, the rooms are spacey, modern and so pretty. There’s literally not a bad thing I have to say. I’m not done with uni yet and i‘ll definitely be staying there for a few more years till I graduate.
Peterson hall is superb for students, it's close to the University of Dundee, city Centre, good environment for self study in the room and good customer care from the Management.

Amazing location close to Magdalen green, the water front and a short walk to supermarkets and 2 minutes from Perth Road. Flats themselves are lovely, very modern and lots of storage.
I have stayed at Peterson Hall for 2 years now and have loved the accommodation it’s in a fantastic location close to the university campus and local shops. You have stunning views of the Tay bridge and Dundee waterfront. All the rooms are bright and extremely spacious and kept clean and tidy for moving in. The kitchen and bathroom are very modern and fully equipped with all you would need. Ian (the site manager) has been fantastic, always super helpful and friendly willing to help with any questions or problems making the move to Dundee smooth. Ian makes Peterson feel like a little community.
I have enjoyed staying at Peterson hall this academic year! As a foreign student it is difficult to find a good residence online, but I am really happy that I ended up here. The flat looks newly renovated and properly cleaned when you arrive. The property management are very helpful if you have any questions or problems, which I appreciate. I would recommend all new student arriving to Dundee to consider Peterson hall!

Peterson Hall is great student accommodation with its very friendly staff and very helpful manager. You can always ask for information or any help you need and they are always there for you. I really appreciate my time staying here where there is easy access to anywhere and the facilities are also very good. I have enjoyed my stay here to the fullest. The bed room, bathroom and kitchen are of very good and comfortable, and the team managing the building is excellent. I highly recommend Peterson Hall. Great student accommodation. Flats are very new and modern and in amazing condition, rooms are super nice. Staff is great, always around to help with anything. The location is ideal: right next to campus, 7 min walk to a big Tesco, 10 mins away from city centre and 2 mins from Magdalen Green park.
It is a bit more expensive than other accommodations in Dundee but it's definitely a lot cleaner and more modern. Had a three bed apartment and the only big downside is that there's no living room and only a very small table in the kitchen for dining, the three of us struggled to have dinner at the same time. Overall good quality though and friendly, helpful staff.
I stayed in one of the six bedroom clusters, which was definitely worth the money, as everything is very modern and most things look brand new, the bed is very comfortable and there is a lot of storage space in the room. The location is great, the university, city center, a huge supermarket and a small park are 5-10 minutes per foot. Ian and the whole Peterson Hall team are super friendly and very welcoming, they are always there to help with any kind of problem. We did not have a cleaning service in our flat, but the reception was always very clean and when I moved in, the flat was spotless. I never had a problem with the wifi and it is quite fast (no problem streaming) and the other services (water, heating) also worked perfectly. The only negative thing I can think about, is the amount of unplanned fire alarms, but that is not the teams fault. I can really recommend Peterson Hall to anyone studying in Dundee.
Really modern and nice rooms with good facilities with the kitchen and bathrooms. So close to uni and the shops up on Perth road as well as magdalen green. Ian is really helpful and felt totally supported whenever I needed anything.

Peterson Halls are very modern and well situated, as they are two minutes walk to the University of Dundee. Moreover, it is very close to Magdalen Green, perfect to go for a walk when it’s sunny. My time here has been amazing. Everybody is very friendly and is easy to make friends. The manager Ian is very nice and is always ready to help you with whatever you need. Totally recommend it!
Great accommodation, especially for Uni of Dundee students. Never had any issues with Wifi, which was great, especially during this academic year when I had to work from home. Maintenance issues were easily resolved by contacting the reception.
Definitely an accommodation open to any ages and year groups. The staff are friendly and quick when it comes to maintenence or social issues in and around the accommodation. Can't get better with the location, it's only a 30sec walk from DJCAD or under 3 mins to the uni as well as a massive tescos 15 mins away. The flat itself is newly built, a stylish and modern look with rooms thats are spacious with loads of storage space. Peterson hall is definitely underrated I think compaired to other accommodation, will recommend to any student.
Overall great accommodation, however the quality of people looking after the place makes it indeed special. Very understanding and cooperative staff always ready to work with you to resolve whatever issue you might have. It is amazing how Ian (reception) keeps everything to the high standard and brilliantly organized while being always ready to greet you with a smile. I definitely would recommend this accommodation and can freely say that I have never had a negative experience in this place.
Peterson Hall is in a very good location, being a Dundee University student it is a 5 minute walk to campus! The flat is very modern and bright which makes studying and living very enjoyable! The space in each of the rooms is well laid out with lots of storage which is a real bonus. Ian is a very helpful and nice receptionist for Peterson Hall. He will do anything to help a resident with any issues regarding the flat maintenance, noise or loss of keys. The garden area at the back of the flats is very nice to chat with flat mates when it is sunny and want fresh air! Overall, I really love staying at Peterson I look forward to coming back to the flat when I’m out during the day.
Peterson Hall's staffing has been very responsive, enthusiastic and informative when dealing with any queries or flat maintenance, this had made dealing with issues much less stress-inducing which I have appreciated. The accommodation itself is great quality, with good student room sizes and plenty of storage space. With the location itself being very practical due to its close proximity to Dundee University's campus, and the city centre. Overall was very pleased, and decided to book again due to the accommodation being very reliable.
Ian (the management) and the maintenance man jim have been wonderful in terms of making us feel at home. Always chatty and whistling around the flats! The flats are big and airy and decorated very nicely. All the appliances are modern and there is plenty of fridge space!

A really convenient location next to both universities in Dundee. Simple and attends to all your needs. Perfect for 1st or 2nd year students, with minor accommodation management, easily a great option to settle in quickly.
Its been a good one year at peterson. Its a nice place for a 1st year student to begin their life in dundee. The staff are really accommodating and caring.
I would definitely recommend Peterson Hall to any student. The staff are very friendly and are always helpful if we have issues. The flats themselves are great, especially with the flatmates you have.
I have had an enjoyable stay at peterson hall, the rooms are very nice to live in and it's relatively quiet.
You pay for conveniance, which is honestly worth the money. No finding accomodation hassle, easy access to repair services and such. Extra fast wifi if you pay for it, good lighting, good room condition, a functional vacuum and a bathroom that doesn't develop fungus even when you leave the door closed. What more do you want from a student accomodation? I had a great time there. Invest in some noise cancelling headphones or earplugs and you'll be grand ;).
Very clean, modern accommodation right in the centre of Dundee
The flats are very nice, exactly as the pictures in the website. The only downside is that there are no social spaces which makes it quite difficult to meat new people and it can get a bit crowded if the flats are full.
A good building that is also nearby Dundee University. The Manager is very nice and helpful.
