Edinburgh napiwr university is a university that makes everyone equal and welcome, good learning enviroment, good lecturerss who go etlxtar mile to impact into us. Tutorial is done ro make us understand the courses. Thanks ro napier for giving us this great platform to learn and explore.
Its a good university and I am content.
If you want to study Events Management online do NOT choose this university, it does not offer specialism. However, the lecturers are doing their best and some modules are interesting.
Hello The place to live and it is save as well the staff is very cooperative

I love it here and have thoroughly enjoyed my time
easy to locate myself around the building
Friendly university, nice campuses and staff
Napier has been very good so far
Varied experience within campus - great facilities with the JKCC & lecture halls/lecturers so far very impressive!
Edinburgh University has good world reputation and strong academic atmosphere. Student supports are great!
I have really enjoyed studying at napier, the campus’s has really great, up-to-date technology and staff are always friendly and willing to help
Great place to study nice and clean great facilities
Good university with good teachers
I do really love the study vibe here! The teachers and professors are really nice and warm to offer a lot of helps to us!
I love this University, professors are super nice.
It has been a good year at ENU. I feel I haven’t used the facilities on offer quite as much as I could have done, but all that I have used (including the clubs and societies, disability and inclusion, and library) has been great and I have no complaints. I joined the Athletics and Triathlon club and have been welcomed back in and feel very comfortable and happy at training sessions.
Good campus, nice teachers and good support
I love the university by how Sighthill campus is beautifully looking and the labs are really professional.
I had a choice between Digital Marketing at RGU and Marketing with Digital Media at Napier. And I was silly enough to go for Napier. This was one of the most traumatic experiences in my life: disrespectful and unhelpful lecturers (not all of them but a good bunch of them), the work placement they helped me to find was a complete nightmare, they have no good contacts when it comes to marketing. Also, when something is wrong with your laptop forget that there is an IT department that will help you, people from tech help are very unexperienced and will help you only with basic issues related to their own University software. Very dissapointing place to be. Feels primitive and off. If you have a choice between RGU and Napier - choose RGU!
Standard Third-rate University experience. Some decent lecturers, others extremely out of touch and almost feel spiteful. Your social environment is your only saving grace. Nothing exceptional, don't expect amazing resources.
Good uni but in need of a new campus for SEBE students.
It’s so beautiful I love it wish it was closee
Nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope.
Great! Great! Great! Great! Great!
Doctor Who society is really interesting, and very well managed
Good university, provides a nice range of courses
really good uni, doesn't deserve the bad rep it gets from edi uni & heriott watt students. in a nice area, provides good food, a lot of free stuff events (free pizza, free clothes etc).
Amazing opportunities and facilities on campus
Always clean and tidy and all the staff are welcoming and will give you a hand if you need it.
Good university, nice campus , teachers are amazing
Rubbish and would not recommend to anyone
I am studying Civil Engineering at Merchiston Campus in ENU. I enjoy the library space with tons of books you can choose from. The lecturers are ever so friendly which makes the learning experience easy. There are many societies to choose from filled with amazing students!!
Great and such a good experience!
Edinburgh Napier university is a nice place for people to study and learn
Lots to do, excellent resources and facilities
Great teacher help on everything
Amazing University with great facilities and excellent professors
But difficult to get between different campuses but overall they are good quality with lots of facilities inside each one
For the handful of times I have been able to go the facility is really clean and everyone is friendly
The university is a good place to learn and met new people and make friends
Great university. Friendly staff
Couldn't experience that much of the campus because I only swapped in year four to write my dissertation and due to corona everything was online. However, the IT infrastructure is quite good and the lectures are always there to help you
They care about their students and the training is amazing!
Hard to review considering so much of 1st year has taken place online but overall has been a really positive experience with inspiring lecturers
Though I traveled roughly half the globe. In search of practical based Biomedical Science course. But the university has NO additional aid for students. No reply to fervent mails. No acknowledgement for enthusiastic aspirants in research. Only demographically supportive of certain group of students. Which so utter demoralizing. I sometimes feel that I gave my tution fees as a hefty alms to this scottish university. Just no words of enough appreciation. Some professor try to cajole us with their good side. But eventually the shadowing partiality just predominates from west to west. I hope international students from non EU countries doesn't get sucked into the vicious adverts of the university. Lockdown has totally made them more available to take less interactive classes and tutorial. Dissertation lab works are like my dream installation.
Computing: Well prepared with support and deliver up to date industry knowledge and skills.
Amazing campus! Love studying here
the university is good however didnt attend this year due to COVID
I had my Masters degree from there, In my experience its a good university but it is being run my extremely incompetent people. Being an international student I was expecting a lot more. Nobody i.e. people at ipoint, JK etc. helps you with anything and just literally laughs at you! During my MSc Dissertation when I had to contact different supervisors prior to choose a topic, few of them simply ignored my email and said they are too busy to discuss it... wow. At the end when I needed a transcript I literally had to fight to get a transcript I mean imagine going back to your country and applying for a job or a PhD without a transcript. In a nutshell NAPIER GET YOUR SH*T TOGETHER! you could've sent transcript to my home address or something but naaaaa. Even when I got the transcript I was highly disappointed when when my name was write as FIRST NAME (tons of spaces) SECOND NAME. It looks like it is transcript of two different people. It's also comes without any final grade!
Really great university with lots of friendly students and lecturers
I am second year graphic design. For the merchiston campus, I can truly say it is a great working atmosphere, with interested lecturers and a great computer space that I in particular use.
It is unfortunate that we are currently experiencing first year university during a pandemic however I feel like the University has handled it quite well, transitioning classes to online environments and providing support when issues arise.
Napier is a great practical university.
I would expect more support and clearer communication from the university, especially during the pandemic time.
The course is really enjoyable and fun to study
Not been in to uni during coronavirus
Haven’t had a chance to visit campus yet or the university as I’m first year and covid restrictions have stopped my course from attending in person sessions
Bigger University with grate ambiance and sharing the best knowledge and help students to build there features
Deciding to study at Napier was the best decision I made the staff are lovely and very accommodating especially for people like myself who are disabled and need a bit of extra help.
Good lecturers, friendly environment for all
Such a great university. I miss sitting in the classes and meeting my classmates and professors
A shambles, completely unorganised and clearly more interested in making a profit than supporting students
This school is absolute b******. I'm in the MSC computing professional placement program and paying a load of money for half ass professors, outdated material and all of my school mates are PISSED. Do not waste your time on this school. They will charge you a stupid amount of money for no education. Udemy has better courses than this s***** school. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
As an international student, lecturers are great, online resources is there when i need them!
Hard review to summarize, but I have had a terrible experience at this university and have considered quitting my post graduate several times since arriving. Had issues with registration and after going through 6 different members of staff one was very apologetic which I accepted and assumed they were just very busy at that time of year, the lady that was apologetic said she would E-mail me back - its 4 months later and I have still never heard back. I had to give the campus facilities a low rating - it is probably unfair however the only services I have tried using was email and logging into computers on campus, my email didn't work and my login didn't work either. Had issues with student counselling team - whenever I have been in contact they have been excellent (one of the redeeming features of the university) - however have not heard back once or twice. Travel, Lecturer issues, lack of help over coronavirus have made for an awful personal experience where I might quit.
I do love my university. The staff are extremely helpful and ready to aid you. The professors always take time for their students and getting career or study advice is no issue. My postgrad might not have been as challenging as I'd hoped for, but I still feel like it was worth it. Theory was always closely linked to real life situations and we spent a lot of time analysing case studies and applying theory. I loved the structure, the facilities and the staff.
I think that napier is an excellent uni and has good facilities
Marine & Freshwater Biology. Modern campus, situated in Sighthill. Very little nearby for students to stay around for. Frequent bus routes to campus. Good gym on site povides discounts for membership during freshers week. Student union apparently absent from campus except for Union President voting season as all clubs are run from Merchinston campus. Little union activity bar occasional bake sales. Decent computer library and mostly well maintained lab facilities with some minor exceptions for . Technical staff are patient and helpful all round. Not enough equipment to cater for all students during project season. Opportunity for studying abroad and potentially excursions during practical coursework for some modules. Never ending problems with phishing emails.

Good, practical university. Some of the modules are ridiculous and the students union are terrible.
Very good I have been very happy with all facilities
There's lots to do in all Napier campuses and lots of places to concentrate on studying.
Enrolled on an MA design course with a focus in Motion Graphics. The course was hardly orientated around Motion Graphics with pointless and non-beneficial modules which had barely any relation to the name of the course. One module, in particular, that was an option was purposely made to feel unappealing by the tutor who said: "you will struggle if you take this module". The organisation from tutors was very poor and the structure of the course felt all over the place. As for the university itself, it feels more like a college, not a very appealing campus (Merchiston). Save your money and learn elsewhere, I feel bad for anyone starting this year.
Im at the sighthill campus doing nursing. Placement experiences are great. Lectures (if they are organised well) tend to be very imformative and relevant. Lectures can be a bit all over the place and can sometimes not understand what you’re asking. Alot of home working.
Very disappointing overall. The university staff weren’t particularly friendly with my head lecturer being an egotistical bully who singled me out on multiple occasions. While the facilities and resources were impressive, everything was heavily restricted, being very look but don’t touch. Ended up leaving after the one year. Just wasn’t worth it.
The gym and library are great, there are not many societies but the student union is based at one of the best pubs in Edinburgh
Campus perfect, everything you could need
Never joined a club, but plenty were offered. Same with student union but I heard good things about em. Lots of career services available for students and wifi accessible from anywhere on campus.
Really good. Lots of help. Union is cheap but a bit of a trek from majority of accommodation.
Napier is great, but Sighthill needs more table space/staggered lunchtimes, and the WiFi is a bit rubbish. Vet nurses have very good employability rates though, and I do enjoy my classes. V good uni, but you will be mocked mercilessly by the snobs from UoE and Heriott-Watt.
It's a modern building with great facilities, the sport science labs all have new equipment and the lecturers are so helpful!
Really good uni, tutors always offer a lot of help and social life is amazing in Edinburgh. All round good university life from Edinburgh Napier.
Fantastic modern learning facility, routine improvements to campus life and looking out for the environment. A university that also has the second highest employment/further education rates in Scotland.
Not only is the university good on an academic level but also has a hugh employment rate. They push you to go out in the real world and gain experience with companies in order to prepare you for when you graduate. The clubs and societies are run so well and you really feel like you're part of a community. The NSA always organise great events and activities throughout the year, especially at freshers week! Highly recommend going to this university.
teaching staff are mainly horrendously bad and facilities are pretty appalling, but it's probably not too bad if you're Scottish and get it all for free, think twice if you're a fee payer though!
Campus's are nice and in good locations, except for Sighthill campus which is a bit out of the way to get to. Decent clubs and societies however there could be more to cater for more people. Haven't had any issues with wifi so far with it being decent in both halls and within the campuses, however in halls it can be very temperamental.
Napier is a fun and friendly university. It offers a great range of courses and there are a lot of opportunities.
