I have absolutely loved my time at Livin and will be sad to leave in the summer as my degree ends. The staff are excellent and always more than happy to help. Everywhere is kept beautifully tidy and clean thanks to the staff. Livin is a lovely quiet place, I’ve never had any disturbance at anytime of day/night which has been great whilst studying. Livin has a very kind and friendly atmosphere it’s very rare someone would walk past without a smile or hello! In regards to the room itself, plenty of storage, all kept modern looking brand new. I couldn’t fault this accommodation!

I'd say it's a nice little studio flat perfect for single person. It's nice and quiet place good sound proofing. And it's convent for town, uni and transport links. However there's multiple little problems that make it not an always safe and stress free environment. In the room the windows are near impossible to open and the constant forcing of them being open by others in the building is obvious and annoying, with walls shaking as it's done. Secondly there is on 2 washing machines and 2 dryers for over 100 people which is just not enough and they're always having problems. Finally on my experience the management and maintenance on site is not always the best. There is no one out of hours in the building, we've had break ins before so just dont feel safe coming in late.. And when they are in I've often at times felt to feel stupid or like a child, I'm a mature student and have lived on my own before so I know when things are wrong.
Overall, really satisfied, I would recommend this place to anyone looking for student accom in cardiff!

It’s a nice experience to stay here. Wonderful private space provided in a studio. Silent lovely room with excellent fitment.
Receptionist of building is incredibly unreliable, ignorant and lazy. Doesn’t care about students safety at all and is only interested in money. Is never here for his allocated shift hours and the property has no on site security.

Living at Livin student accommodation has been an exceptional experience. The facilities are modern and well-maintained, creating a comfortable living environment. The staff, particularly Nick, are friendly and always willing to assist with any queries or concerns. The location is convenient, with easy access to public transportation and nearby amenities. Overall, Livin provides a fantastic option for students looking for quality accommodation with a supportive community atmosphere. However, it's important to note that the staff's availability is limited to Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm. This drawback could potentially pose challenges for students needing assistance outside of these hours. Despite this limitation, Livin still provides a comfortable living environment and a supportive community atmosphere during their operational hours.
Owners and manager don't really care about the needs of residents. We've been threatened by strangers that are getting into our common room and we're entirely blamed for this. I recently had to call the police on a group of teens, they were aggressive and said they'd beat me up, the manager showed no concern, instead asked if i "enjoyed giving it all that". If only they'd add some better security measures. Mail can be a pain due to limited office hours.
The staff is very friendly. I remember that I checked in on Sunday, because they didn't go to work on weekends, but there were still staff checking in for me. Although I don't know his name yet, thank you very much! There are many restaurants and supermarkets near the apartment. Life is very convenient and close to the city centre. Most importantly, the room is really quiet and very soundproof, as if there was no one next door.
Don't let the pretty round windows distract you!! this Accomodation is pretty and very attractive on the outside but has severe issues regarding ventilation being loud, windows forced shut, water pressure, constant fire alarms going off, rooms being unclean when moving in (such as trash still being down the side of the bed), as well as service people entering your room whether you're in the room or not. we also had drunk men break into the reception as the door failed and police had to be called. the on-site staff are lovely and the rooms are pretty, but I would only recommend this place if they actually fix many of the major issues plaguing it.
My home sweet 🏡 home. It really feels like I am in my home. Best of all the accommodation in Cardiff. Very convenient. Connected and the location is just in center part easy to travel , nearby train station, 10 mins walk from Cardiff University, and city center. The accommodation Livin is at main road where there large number of varieties cuisine restaurants. The staff is soo friendly Mr. Chris. and Krick are always available to help you whenever needed. There are many festivals and parties celebrated by the accommodation and staff. One of them I have posted being the winner of Easter egg hunt secret game. It is really worth paying and to get such a great service with wifi and all other amenities. Best of all the studios and accommodation I have ever seen. Strongly recommend to students to book your stay for upcoming year.

After living with Livin through my undergraduate degree, I am glad I have booked to stay here again next year for my Masters! The friendly staff are always happy to help, and for the past three years have been very welcoming. The rooms are great, providing you with your own personal space. The common room downstairs is large and is a great place to spend your time with friends. I usually spend my time in the city centre, which similar to Cardiff university, is only a short walk away. I would definitely recommend staying here!

The building is in the best possible location: close to city centre, University and between the 2 biggest parks in Cardiff (Bute and Roath). It includes all the facilities that someone could ask for/need. The rooms are full of light coming through the big round windows (which give a nice touch of architecture too). The room has plenty of storage (the one bellow the bed is hidden and very spacious, very good to not have luggage and boxes in the way). The manager, the maintenance man, and the cleaners are all super helpful if you need anything from them and generally kind when just see them around the building.
I came from Paris, and I have been very satisfied about my stay in Cardiff Livin. The place is new, clean, that's really appreciable. It's also possible to do musculation. Your room is a apartment, you have everyting if you want cook yourself, Oven, Fridge, induction hob, and nothing to buy, everything is already there. And if you don't like cooking, you will found your hapiness in the street. really the place is top. The reception team is very nice, may be you will see a man with graying hair, His name is Chris. He helped me to get some places for the 6 Nations Championship Wales v France. My first rugby match, just amazing. Really, I recommand to everyone to test the place. And of course the price was very cheap. No contest in the neighborhood.
Visited the Livin accommodation today and it was amazing. Shout out to Christian, the gentleman who showed us around, what a lovely guy, made us feel welcomed and had a few laughs with us. Definitely considering moving here because of how nice it is and the friendly staff, like Christian.
We had a tour in the accommodation by Christian he was very helpful and very nice guy and explained everything clearly which has made me want to come to this place more
