Froghall (Mezzino) offers events for students throughout the year, variable number of tenants for a flat and facilities like free washing. I've found the staff very friendly and supportive, as well as, their maintenance team highly responsive and quick. The flats are of a good size and offer all of the required facilities. Moreover, the accomodation is close to the university (approx 12 minutes) making it an ideal place.

What tenancy length do I need?
Some students choose to stay during the academic year, whilst others – particularly international students – require a tenancy that covers the entire year. You can also find student accommodation that is available for one or two terms, classified as a “short stay” on our search filters.
Should I stay in catered student accommodation?

Will I need to pay a deposit on student accommodation?
Most likely, yes, you’ll need to pay a deposit. This will be refunded at the end of your stay as long as there is no damage to the room or property.
What bills will my rent include?
If you are staying in university-run accommodation or private halls, your rent should include any utilities such as electricity, gas, water, and internet. Students are not required to pay council tax, however you may need to fill in an exemption form so make sure you check with your local council.
What is purpose-built student accommodation?
Purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) are residential buildings designed for students. They are often located close to campus, boast modern facilities, include all bills, and often have staff on site to assist residents.
Will my student accommodation be furnished?
Student accommodation is typically fully furnished. Your room should include at least a bed, clothes storage, desk and chair. You’ll likely need to bring things such as bedding and kitchen utensils, but we have a full list here of everything you’ll need.

Really good accommodation situated in a good area! Only a 10/15 min walk to the university and possibly the same length to the college. Shops are quite close and it’s a nice small accommodation that has an enclosed gated car park. It’s really good value for price and all the rooms are decently sized

I honestly really like living here, I lvoe the locaiton. Just next to uni, just near a bookshop and a few cafes, and just near a Lidl, Coop, and other little corner stores. The birds chirp in the trees outside too which is lovely. The maintenance people are also very quick to respond!

The location is a little bit problematic, with neighbours screaming regularly. Other than that its an okay accommodation. However, there are other places where you pay a similar price ans have the luxurious addition of your own bathroom.

I have enjoyed staying at Froghall this year. It's good value for money with spacious rooms. Flat mates are nice. Washing machine, which is also a dryer, is included in the weekly price as well as a dishwasher.

Amazing maintenance, always so quick to respond to any maintenance requests and/or email inquiries. Lovely location. Plenty space in the rooms. Only issue I have had is that wifi hasn't always been great.

Overall, I am quite satisfied with the room. It's spacious, and bright, and maintains a comfortable warmth, especially during the winter months. However, I have noticed a couple of aspects that I feel could be improved for better comfort and functionality. Firstly, I find the mattress to be somewhat uncomfortable. Secondly, the work chair provided in the room is not ergonomic or comfortable for extended periods of study.

The experience has been really pleasant. Very helpful and friendly service. Frequent social events at Trinity Court. Peaceful yet prime location. Flats are very well equipped. The only thing i would want more is a mop and an extra fridge provided in the kitchen. Everything else is great. The maintenance issues are resolved quickly.

I have really enjoyed my stay here at Froghall. The maintence service is amazing and very quick. The place is very spacious and easy accessible. However, their wifi is with a third party which sometimes has problems. For my accomodation there was no mop to clean the floor or another fridge freezer which was a challenege to share with 5 other people. Apart from this 2 disadvantages, this is by far the best place I have stayed. I have previously lived with Student unite and student roost and they were horrible and nothing compared to Mezzio. For any students looking for good value and cheap accommodation apply to mezzio!!
