I am an engineering student at Aberdeen University and I have lived at King Street Exchange for the last 2 years (booked on for a 3rd year). Value for money is excellent, all bills included in a safe area, lovely warm rooms with your own bathroom, under bed storage and lightning fast internet (I get 80 mb/s download). You have an app on your phone for any issues including maintenance, lockouts or noise complaints with staff available 24/7! I was seriously ill last February and my parents embarrassingly were able to have a member of staff check on me (I was sleeping all day). The location is truly best case scenario. Within 5 min walk you have: Aberdeen University, Lidl, take-aways, barber, SPAR, pubs, Aberdeen Sports village <- amazing facility and super cheap for students. Angela the site manager is very friendly and keeps everyone up to date with news and events happening around Aberdeen via information boards. Anything I have ever needed has been taken care of immediately.

Shan at the desk good craic and service. Always reminds me have got a parcel
Do Not Stay here! The only good thing about this is it’s right across from the univeristy. The rooms are nothing like the photos, it’s all dark and gloomy and the bathrooms have a bad smell coming from all the drains! The only time I was greeted politely was when I arrived, after that they never check on you or say hello when you pass, they only want your money and never want to help. The receptionist Sian was utterly rude, never helped me when I was looking for my cancellation form (due to COVID) and only wanted my payments. Your car fee is £15 a week, check how many weeks you are due do not go by what they say. I checked I was only due £165 because my car was only parked for 11 weeks, and they tried to charge £247 to my account!! I’m still appalled I’ve been trying for ages now to get my refunds and nobody emailed back! I was polite to the workers, I tried my hardest to be nice but now I’m so upset over this all! Don’t not stay here

Emily at the reception does a fantastic job, couldn't be any better
Angela is always so happy and always has my parcels for me. Thank you
This building is located directly opposite Aberdeen University, there is no closer building to live in. The staff are friendly and it is great value for money
