This is my second year living at The Depot in Exeter, and I’ve had such a great experience that I’ve rebooked for my final year! The accommodation is modern, clean, and well-maintained, with spacious rooms that have everything you need for both studying and relaxing. The communal areas, including the common room and gym, create a great social atmosphere and make it easy to meet new people. The location is ideal—close to the university and city center, with great transport links. The staff are always friendly, helpful, and quick to resolve any issues, and the security is excellent, which gives me real peace of mind. Overall, The Depot has been the perfect place to live as a student, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for a safe, comfortable, and welcoming accommodation in Exeter! read more

The Depot may seem like premium student accommodation, but the reality is disappointing. The bed frames are of very poor quality, and mine has broken multiple times over the past two years. Recently, it collapsed twice in one day, causing me to fall and injure myself. Exposed screws are now visible, and the bed is slanting, making it impossible to sleep on. For £14,000 per year, this level of poor-quality furniture and slow maintenance responses is unacceptable. While some staff members are helpful, the lack of a permanent solution makes this a frustrating experience. Many other students have faced similar issues, so if you value comfort and reliability, I strongly advise looking elsewhere. The Depot is not worth the price when even basic living conditions are not met. Avoid. read more
