I recently lost my access card and approached the front desk for a replacement. The staff was incredibly helpful and efficient, making the process quick and painless. I was particularly impressed with how friendly and understanding they were, despite my situation. A special thank you to [Staff Member's Name] who assisted me—excellent service! Highly recommend for any student needing assistance.

Top university in the world, love it so much
UCL is a school with great academic environment and wonderful lectures. Professors here are all very kind and knowledgeable. And I really enjoy studying here.
Great teachers and supporting resources. All the teachers and staffs are being very supportive to whatever problem you have. And campus is located close to shopping areas, so, quite convenient.
It’s a lovely place and we could meet lots of people from different backgrounds.
Wonderful and diversity place where you can study
Love it. Great career advice. Great teaching. Lots of job opportunities
Overall good, a very international university
I like my university. The people are nice.
Good facilities, big libraries, impressive school life
Very nice, professors are all willing to provide help and the courses are all useful for my future career
It is definitely a perfect university
UCL is much much better than I expected. My classmates are all easygoing, outgoing, talkative and knowledgeable. It's easy to chat with everyone. Professors are all patient in answering all our questions. I find myself get accustomed to life in UCL quickly.
schools with professionals,helpful professors
Great university, kind stuff and good facilities.
Really enjoy studying at UCL, a welcoming community with excellent facilities quality, teaching quality.
It’s good it has air conditioners and 24 hour reception
It is what it is. Average university, but surroundings are overpriced AF, so you better be smart or rich living in London.
Nitin helped me to solve the problem! He was professional and friendly and solve the problem quickly! The Pakistan cute guy at the reception is also super nice and super kind I love them both!
Libraries are well equipped, interner is good, a lot of places to study
I have really enjoyed my first year studying at UCL.
UCl is known as one of the best universities, but studying here for graduate school is really not a pleasant experience. The good thing is that the facilities and model rooms of the School of Architecture are top-notch in the world. But in one year, the theoretical papers, large-scale design and software technology were compressed, and the pressure was very high. Catching up to the next deadline every day.
UCL is a well-known and top-ranking university in the world. All facilities, teaching and learning experience here meet all my expectations. Also, I have learnt so many cutting-edge theories and techniques from it and I really enjoy the process.
sandy is the best receptionist
Veronica and Rosen are very nice. it is well managed and clean.
Amazing experience of studying in UCL! Nice teaching staff , social events and environment
Great Uni, would definitely recommend.
My department is very nice and welcoming
Great place to study, would definitely recommend.
It was a great University and a wonderful course
I have a fantastic and great learning experience in UCL, especially IOE. I have achieved academic fulfillment and met wonderful friends here.
I've had an awful time so far at this university but the lecturers are good
Great opportunities studying in UCL; accessible services on campus; exposure to a wide range of cultural diversities; great learning experiences with amazing teachers and students.
I would highly recommend not going to UCL. The biosciences department is actually quite lovely so if you want to study biosciences I would recommend UCL. However, the economics department was horrendously unorganized and unhelpful. I was more stressed over administrative issues with my enrollment and registration than over any of my coursework. They put me through hell just trying to get registered for my classes, and it took a horrible toll on my mental health. They were unresponsive and dysfunctional. DO NOT ATTEND ECONOMICS AT THIS SCHOOL. Go to LSE instead, I've heard great things about their department. I seriously hope no one else has to experience what I did.
nice selection of courses, tight-knitted campus
As a UCL Student, I can truly say that the teaching method is one of the best around the world, with very qualified professionals as teachers and a great campus. This is the reason because is ranked as one of the best universities worldwide. I would like to encourage people to be part of this incredible academic experience for a greater professional development.
Great university, amazing course.
- Very welcoming to everyone - Encourage all to get involved - All students and staff are very respectful to students - Campus and facilities are very well furnished as well
Love my course- medicine. Very well taught.
Overall the university is alright facilities do what theyre supposed to and campus is well kept and fun to go to. Teaching has been somewhat okay but could be better in terms of lectures, however the pandemic has made the overall experience not that great.
Love SOAS great university with amazing people and location is super nice.
Great uni, I hope I graduate :)
UCL is a great university, the staff are really friendly and understanding and I would definitely recommend!
Very satisfied on the whole. First of all, in terms of location, the apartment is very close to UNIVERSITY College London. Secondly, I am also satisfied with the size of the room and facilities. In addition to the hardware facilities, the services in the apartment are very good. The staff did their best to give us timely and timely help. For ecample they would help us print materials and provide any stuff we need if they have.
Janet Poole house is a very place to live in. It only takes you 5 minutes walk to UCL and you easily get access various shops and supermarkets. The basic facilities here are very convenient as well like rubbish bags are supplied on time everyday.
With the new setting, a lot of opportunities, so meaningful to fulfill dreams and passion. Amazing place to be in. Tutors are so full of experience and knowledge, which makes me hunger for the knowledge they have to grasp. I am loving my journey.
The campus is relatively small.
Great university; good professors; Beautiful libraries and student centers; it is really nice they provided extra help for foreign students
Course is very good but facility is lacking supplies
Great university would love to go back
absolutely great experience, as I am an international student it is an amazing university for your higher education
Staff members have been very helpful and supportive during the pandemic if you had any concerns regarding your health or university work
Great location, super close to shops/supermarket and the tube. Really friendly management team that help you out with any problem you have. Super spacious and comfortable rooms. Highly recommend it! :)
University college London is an amazing university, where the professors are quite responsible and professional.
It is absolutely amazing obviously.
Did not really enjoy the online learning but overall it was a good experience. Lecturers are very nice and helpful.
Great academic atmosphere. Excellent education. Considerable student support (health and wellbeing, career service...). Various fun activities!
Great academic atmosphere. Excellent education. Considerable student support (health and wellbeing, career service...). Various fun activities!
Great location. Very helpful staff and great place to study.
Excellent facilities and high on the league tables
Great institution for biomedicine researches. Honourable professors and excellent teaching. Promising career ahead. Benefit a lot for being a student here.
Although we cannot have face-to-face classes due to the epidemic, the school provides us with many alternative ways to help us learn.
I haven't had the chance to go to school because of the COVID-19. But the help provided by the school teachers is very good.
There are many different kinds of clubs and societies for us to join. They are fun!
good place to live, 15mins to school. good facilities
Good university, respectable people and staff.
It's my first year to study in UCL but I have spent the whole year study remotely, so I don't know about the campus and facilities. There are many activites held by student union online, and the IT service is great though it has broken down many times.
i’m a new undergraduate at UCL and every moment of my time here has been terrible. i am not enjoying my course and requested to swap, maintaining two of my existing modules. every response i received was impersonal and copy-pasted. UCL does not treat you as an individual but rather at a £9250 cheque and your individual situations are never taken into account. please don’t choose UCL, particularly for geography undergrad.
Great location in central London. Good facility, especially with the newly built student centre.
Good location! Good teachers!
everything is nice, location, wifi etc
If you are disabled don't go there they are awful when it comes to look after you and ensure that you can get from one lecture to the next one. Some staff will not follow the support plan either. When staff say they will help you with changing address don't trust them and portico is the worst site they could have picked for student information as home addresses and so on. I have requested my certificates three times now and still none of them have been delivered. They say on the website it will be delivered with DHL outside the UK that's not true either. I have given up on ever getting my certificates so I can't prove what I have studied at UCL as many firms and universities wants the real exam certificate and not a email version.
do. not. apply. poor organisation
Good, very stimulating environment.
Overall was good ! Highly recommended
I cannot really comment on the undergraduate side of things at UCL as I completed a Masters degree here. The facilities were great and all start of the art. My particular course was overall okay, I would say. It could be disorganised at times. We had some really outstanding dieticians who were members of our facility. One in particular was extremely knowledgeable, kind and always approachable. Unfortunately this was not true for the whole department and I felt subject to discrimination.
Studying at UCL was one of the best choices that I have ever made in my life. Met a lot of people who inspired me and experienced a lot of things. The facilities were great as well.
International student. Did a 3 year degree. Lecturers went on strike and attempted to convince me to not go into the library to support them. Teachers are bias and teach their political leanings as facts. If you don't agree with the student union's position on things, good luck trying to argue with them. I paid crazy money for professors to not answer my emails, and have barely any time to help with queries. To be honest, going to UCL was paying 50K for a piece of paper with UCL on it, and no actual knowledge of anything mildly useful to my current career to back it up.
typical uni with bad organisation and admin but in a nice location.
Almost everything about UCL is excellent and the people who are only studying here without work or other responsibilities can get great benefits from all of the existing services and societies. Some services, e.g. student support centre, perhaps should have more employees to deal with the number of students more effectively. The strikes during 2019 and the upcoming one in February-March are real buzz killers though, and the worst part is that we do not get to have the lectures rescheduled or a full refund.
This is where hope and aspiration comes to die. Some of the worst educators in the country who conspire to trample on students energy and ambition by dumbing down and doing the absolute bare minimum. Go to any other university in the UK where teaching is by people that care; where there is intellectual stimulus and progressive attitudes; where accommodation is available and where you can look back with fondness and remember university as a foundation for future success. UCL offers none of these things and I wish I had made any other choice for further education.
I am really enjoying my time at UCL and the facilities are really great. They have many enormous libraries to access resources and quiet places to study. There are a range of societies and clubs to join.
I studied the Chemical Engineering BEng and graduated in 2018. *All the bad things you hear about the department are true*. Teaching is awful, lecturers for the most part visibly don't want to be there, organisation is bad, and the staff don't care about you. The student satisfaction being 1/5 almost all the time from 2013 to 2020 speaks accurately on how well undergraduates are treated. The department only cares about its postgraduate students in which it makes a name for itself , and draws in undergraduate students to fund the postgraduate research. The best parts of the course are either out-of-department (IEP) or co-ordinated mostly by postgraduate students and not the main staff. The poor teaching means its far more feasible to memorise or copy than actually learn to get ahead. I've written something fuller which you can find here: https://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/showthread.php?t=6241196&p=86176874#
I haven't been here long enough to really comment on a lot of the aspects of university, but there seems to be a great variety of societies! Unfortunately the general administration for the uni is *incredibly* poor... don't expect them to send you much information about anything useful until the absolute last minute!
Good uni, sociable with good societies
Imagine, you are invited to a dinner party with a group of people that you admire. It’s considered a very prestigious thing to be invited to those parties, so you are excited and expect this to be the best evening of your young life. The entrance fee is very high, but you know that it will be worth it. You enter the house, and everything seems glamorous and shiny. But already after the first few conversations you start to realise that this was just a facade. More and more it becomes evident that these people are not who they claim to be. They are robbers and you are their victim. In the next second, they stole 14.530 pounds from you. But this is just the beginning. They steal a whole year of your time and cause mental health problems which you will probably not get rid of soon. How could this happen? The whole world praises these dinner parties especially with these people. And now they have robbed you and not given you anything in return. This is what a masters at UCL feels like
Loved it so far, Im a first year student and although the organisation is not that great, the prestige, facilities and location make up for it.
First class teaching and research ... but in almost every other respect, UCL is hot garbage. It’s a for-profit corporation and is run accordingly; they just want your money, and once they’ve got it they treat you like something they’ve scraped off their (expensive, designer) shoe. Organisation and administration are an absolute shambles. Given its history and potential this is a great shame.
UCL is well known university but remember it’s not good environment to study or achieve your goals. However if you are buying the name and have money then good luck. They don’t deserve even one star
Amazing staff and good customer service
Probably the highest density of underqualified teachers, unmotivated staff and lost hopes in anything good in this world. This uni stole 15k from me and has not given me propper education in return. The only right thing to do with your acceptance letter is burning it.
I have enjoyed my time at university
Its good :) Fun and good teaching
The student union is not helpful at all, done nothing constructive apart from spamming email address. The campus is nice especially the new student centre, however, not everywhere in the campus and all lecture halls have access to WiFi which restricted access to study materials.
I found my experience as a whole to be amazing. I would not change anything. While there is quite a bit that can be improved it did not affect my overall opinion of my university experience in UCL.
Everything is on the average level, although the fee is quite expensive especially for international students.
DO NOT COME TO THIS UNI! UCL has been the worst experience I have ever had! As an MSc student the facilities available are terrible, the support from lecturers are terrible! Throughout my exam period I have contacted my lecturers for support and 3 out of 4 ignored my emails and 1 of them replied saying he cannot offer help. It is an absolute waste of money. The teaching is poor, and the lecture notes available are horrendous! It really comes down to your own knowledge and effort when it comes to revising for exams. As a MSc chemical Engineering student I expected to have good communication and availability in dedicated study spaces, however this was not the case. I would advise not to attend this university, as you will be very disappointed and depressed. The expectation from some modules are far beyond what is being taught. One of my modules I was being taught one thing and being tested on something far beyond and deeper than what we had learnt and covered throughout the course.
Nothing but positive about this university
As a MSc student I’d warn everyone not to attend this uni. There is a lack of support for students and whilst you follow exactly what is asked for you they fail students/ give out poor grades for no reason. It seems they don’t want to give out too many high grade degrees.
TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY! I am an international student. This uni is just a racket to get foreign students money and provide next to NO services. You cannot get into the classes you need, they offer no help, they just want your money!
Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
