Great university - can sense the quality in the teaching. - however has been under scaffolding for most of my time here
UCL is one of the UK’s top universities, known for its strong academic reputation, global outlook, and vibrant student community. Located in the heart of London, it offers access to countless professional and cultural opportunities. The teaching quality is high, particularly in research-driven fields like psychology, computer science, and architecture. On the downside, the workload can be intense, and accommodation or living costs in London are high. However, the diversity, networking potential, and interdisciplinary approach make UCL an excellent choice for ambitious students who want both academic rigour and city life. ⭐ Overall: 9/10 – academically world-class, dynamic, and inspiring, though demanding and expensive.
The university has an amazing campus and student work/ life balance. All the professors have expert knowledge of their topic and are always very welcoming and helpful when requesting feedback and assistance with assignments. The student community itself is also excellent, with a plethora of student societies available, enabling students to not only immerse themselves in their studies but also explore their passions and other cultures. In addition, the university does a great job in facilitating students' career development, providing various career fairs and talks to help student learn more about the career they wish to pursue.
good uni, but the wifi usually go wrong

Freshers week offers a lot of opportunities to try different societies and chances to meet people who share common interest with you.
Overall, I have been very impressed by the range of opportunities, facilities and resources available. There has been steady pastoral help and a real sense that faculties care, and the range of buildings to work in is great!
