Very good university and very diverse, but they don’t push you to make friends, big emphasis on independence, and often don’t make you aware of broader deadlines and how to make the most out of UCL from the beginning.
I think the self-study part in school accounts for a large proportion, and a lot of reading materials are provided. However, in class, it is mostly in the form of seminars. Perhaps the knowledge received passively is not that much, so good time management skills are needed. But actually, what I want is that the school could have more lectures.
My experience at UCL so far has been extremely positive. The university offers great support for student well-being, both emotionally and financially. The campus is very clean, with plenty of study spaces and spacious classrooms. There are also many facilities and common areas that make campus life comfortable and enjoyable. Professors are approachable and genuinely willing to help students succeed. Overall, UCL provides an excellent environment for both academic and personal growth.
really good experience, just the perfect spot for international students!
I'm glad I chose UCL as the university to complete my course at. The area is fun and exciting, they offer excellent services which may not be available to students at other universities and the teaching is structured and organised.
Great ammenities, fantastic teaching!
I have just started my education at UCL. But ever since starting this course everything has been so perfect. I love my campus; it has great views, it is so clean, hygenic, people around are so kind and nice to everyone. Wifi works great.
It is my first year to study in ucl. But it is always my dream school. There has many places that have wifi such as any libraries. And my favourite part of school is that it has a lot of places to study and all are very huge and quiet. I really love to study in those places. And also, there are lots of clubs that you can enjoy. All are really nice!!
UCL is exactly what a well balanced life looks like. It is known for being a top university whilst maintaining a high student satisfaction rate. As a student here, I can definitely see that. The lectures, tutorials, and labs are delivered with quality. Simultaneously there are so many clubs and societies you can join which can give you a break from academics. Everyone is social and are willing to meet new people.
As a Colombian student currently studying for a Master’s in Business and Sustainability at UCL, I’ve found the main campus to be one of the most inspiring academic environments I’ve ever experienced. UCL’s location in the heart of London is unbeatable — surrounded by history, culture, and innovation. It’s amazing to walk past iconic buildings every day while heading to class, and to have world-class museums like the British Museum just a few minutes away. The campus itself combines tradition and modernity. The main quad, libraries, and study spaces create a great atmosphere for learning and research. Many of the buildings have a classic exterior but are equipped with modern facilities inside — it really captures the balance between heritage and progress. As an international student, I’ve also appreciated how diverse and inclusive UCL is. You meet people from every continent, and the academic discussions are truly global in perspective. The staff are approachable and very supportive,
