The staff especially niamh and rohan and Abbas have been so helpful and kind. I sometimes stick around to have a conversation with them just because they are so great!

North Lodge Biography
North Lodge is located in Zone 3, just a few minutes from Tottenham Hale Underground station, making it an easy commute to all of central London's universities just a quick tube ride away. The property is a part of a sustainable urban village with a medical centre, bakery, gym, Tesco Express, children’s nursery and lots of green space right on your doorstep.
Students can enjoy the outdoor social spaces and a common room that is fitted with a TV, sofas and a pool table which is a great spot to get to know your neighbours. When it's time to get some work done residents can take advantage of the WiFi and communal study spaces. For students added benefits there is laundry, bike storage, vending machine and printing facilities at extra costs. Stay stress-free with CCTV, secure asses, on-site service team, maintenance support and content insurance.
North Lodge offers rooms to 528 students, each with its own private bathroom, study space and plenty of storage. Each ensuite room makes up part of a cluster flat, with a shared kitchen and living space, kitted out with all the essentials.

Amazing location, close to university, nice people and great amenities around me. Perfect. Rooms are so good and spacious
You can hear the flushing and water use from the room next door, as well as any slamming of doors or talking in the hallway. The hallway is very dirty and a lot of dust collects there. Kitchen is very dirty due to other tenants.
This place is disgusting, this is the worst run building in the whole of Unite. There’s no building manager in this building as the previous one got sacked, I’m sure we can all assume why. They don’t care about this building at all, management doesn't exist in this building. We have been out without water for the last 48 hours, and they gave us 30 mins prior warning, and mentioned it’ll be out for a small time only. 48 hours is passed and there’s still no water. It’s the hottest week of the year and they simply don’t care. No substitute water was provided at all. We had to argue to get water from them, 24 hours later they provided us with off brand 500ml bottles of water and that too one each. Please avoid living in this place. You’re better off living at HMP BELMARSH. They provide better facilities and services. Potential students do not book here, please also look at their Google reviews it is all 1 star.
Water was shut off with only half an hour of warning on the hottest day of the year. Over 12 hours later there is still no water
A lot of odd people and it seemed like nothing was taken seriously unless things escalated a lot. We also had no water for over 13 hours so no toilet no nothing very horrible.
They told us people were coming to do ‘water isolation’ and that water will be turned off at 10am. It has been 12 hours and STILL there is no water. Unable to shower, unable to cook, unable to wash my hands and unable to use the toilet without flushing it. Having access to water is #1 priority and they failed to fulfil standards
A receptionist stole an expensive ring I got delivered and staff were unhelpful in trying to find out the thief. They also claimed that their CCTV system was not working for an entire month when I reported the theft to the police. The kitchens are DISGUSTING and there isn’t a cleaner, so cleaning the kitchen is usually the responsibility of one person who actually cares about hygiene. Most recently, there hasn’t been running water for 12+ hours and counting which is despicable. Only live here if it’s a last resort (it was my last resort).
Absolutely horrible! There's been no water for the last 11 hours on one of the hottest days over the summer!! Nobody on reception, and nobody answering calls made to the reception!! Absolutely not done! Do not recommend this place whatsoever!!! Other than this, it's so loud and noisy through the night and the management doesn't care about it and doesn't do anything about it. The maintenance issue takes forever and they change the status to done on the app even if it's not gone (it happened twice regarding the same maintenance issue) A lot of the night staff doesn't know about parcels and letters ( not their fault, they're probably just temps while staff members are in holiday) and they ask you to come back the following day (which isn't that big a deal but I was never home during the days and only got home in the evenings)
On 6th of September from morning 10 am onwards there has been no water supply while I'm writing this review it has been 12 Hours since there is no water and I could not flush toilet after morning use and still is in the same situation the management is an utter failure and isn't bothered by any of this even after making a complaint with ECC and the situation is still going on, no notice earlier of 24 hours was not given notice email was given 30 min before cutting water supply and no necessary arrangements were made by the management.
It’s a great place if you love living without water:) Wasn’t expecting this for 195 pounds a week, yet they turn of water for days at end (happened for 2 days once I was there) and do not provide any respite. Don’t provide any answers and shirk responsibility by saying it’s an external contractor. Horrible experience:/ The fire alarm rings literally any time the wish and the lift doesn’t work for hours after that(which isn’t convenient when you have to climb up 11 floors).
Gave it a one star because zero isn't an option. I've been assaulted in this space and no one gave a s***. One of the worst places that anyone could choose to live in London, absolute worst. Just today they stopped the supply of water at 9 am, we haven't gotten it back yet and it's been 12 hours. They said they're gonna stop the water tomorrow again!!! So what bro you expect us to p** into jars and take dumps at work? Not to mention the fact that there is never good maintenance, either one of the lifts never works, the reception is absolutely both helpless AND clueless, they put a few rods to a corner and called it a bike parking area when it is supposed to be called a junkyard and even complaints of physical assault are never taken seriously.
It’s been a good experience, north lodge has been very welcoming with the likes of Niamh and Rohan at reception making us feel at home.
1. This isn't Central London 2. Absolutely horrible property management by the Unite team. The cleanliness checks are not implemented, there are insufficient/inadequate protocols in place for health and safety hazards/emergencies including maggot infestations. 3. The way the ventilation system is fitted in the building means you can smell weed in your hotbox of room even if someone's smoking floors below you. 4. The staff takes inadequate action towards ensuring safety measures for incidents including physical/verbal assault.

Loved my stay at north lodge this year and last I would especially like to name Neave and Rohan as being the highlight of my experience at north lodge reception they are always friendly helpful and there when needed 11/12 performances from them every time
Overall I like the location. Close to the tube station and the retail park !! My room wasn’t very clean when I moved in an social spaces tend to get white run down. Repairs do take a long while with emails to management being needed sometimes. The staff, especially Rohan, Niamh and Damien are very friendly and helpful

Reception staff are very friendly and easy to talk to. Rohan and Niamh are always smiling and offering support to everyone walking past should they need it. They stand out to me as the 2 best staff here

I stayed at North lodge for 1.5 years and here is my review. Pros: -5 minutes to Tottenham Hale station and Tesco express (open until 11 pm) -8 minutes to the retail park which you can find anything from such as home goods Lidl, Asda, Wilko -It takes only 20 min to go to Oxford St. Victoria line is really fast and handy. -The area is safe, with lots of students and families. -Customer service was great. Cons: -Cleaning issue (cleaning lady does not take out the trash in the flat kitchens unlike the procedure at most of the university accommodations, and you share your flat with at least 9 people who will probably make a mess in the kitchen, not clean after themselves and not take out the trash) it was really annoying. And, the kitchen only cleaned out once in 2 weeks which is definitely not enough. -Wifi was really slow -Every Monday fire alarm goes off and wakes you up at 10 or 11 am. It was really annoying. - Expensive.
