Very state of the art university and courses. The libraries are amazing
My entry to campus has been very welcoming and everyone I've met has been incredibly helpful. The wifi could be better in places/at times, but the campus has so many good facilities/green places/areas to sit and study. My professors are very knowledgeable and helpful.
The university is outstanding in term of the teaching quality, resources and support. The whole environment is stimulating, inspiring and energetic.
UCL has a very expansive campus, and it can be difficult to find where your classes are. However, there are always resources to navigate if you search them up, and usually, the building staff will be willing to help if needed. UCL has many societies that cover all sorts of hobbies and interests, and they are open to those who are just trying things out as well. However, because of the sheer number of students, some popular services, events, or opportunities are harder to access as tickets or bookings run out quickly, such as the Careers Service's CV review sessions.
My university provides an excellent learning environment that encourages both academic and personal growth. The professors are highly qualified and supportive, always ready to guide students in their studies and future careers. The campus is modern, well-equipped, and offers plenty of opportunities for extracurricular activities. I especially value the international programs and networking events that help students connect with professionals and peers worldwide. Overall, my university is a place where ambition meets opportunity, inspiring students to achieve their goals.
Its alright, loads of social and study places
UCL has a great campus and offered an amazing freshers week with loads of free activities. My department have also been great at easing us into uni life.
I really like my uni and have little to complain about but mainly because of bias. From an unbiased point of view, the wifi can crash, the admin in my particular department is terrible and for how much we are paying we definitely could get better classrooms etc. but the study spaces are great and the societies are great. I definitely think there could be more advertised about careers things and mental health support.
UCL is a world-class university across a wide variety of subjects, and studying any course here will definitely improve your employment prospects. As well as its reputation, it has an amazing range of careers services, volunteering and research opportunities -- make sure you take advantage of these!
The eduroam wifi doesn't work sometimes and that can be annoying, especially during class. Otherwise, the lessons and society actives and campus life in UCL is perfect so far.
