Student union is pretty good unless your trying to start your own society or are on a comitee and can be very slow and challenging to work with. Theres generally lots of events and its got good opening hours. Wifi is eduroam, same as everywhere else. Its fine. Nothing special but works.
It is an amazing university and i am so glad it is so underrated. University of Aberdeen is a small world in it.
They should also work on career services for international students.
Overall experience is good and everyone is very friendly. I believe there should be an event where all the clubs gather with individual physical stalls for new recruitments and letting freshers know about what they do.
The Old Fire Station is a great place to stay clean rooms, warm heating, and well-maintained facilities. The location is ideal, with easy access to buses, supermarkets, and the city centre. It’s quiet for studying, and the staff are friendly and quick to help with any issues. A safe, comfortable, and reliable accommodation for students and anyone new to Aberdeen. Highly recommended.
