Remarkably good. Combines the prestige and rigour of an established university with the inclusive, industry-led, and more student-friendly mode of teaching that modern universities offer. The student community is diverse and very welcoming!
Great university experience overall
The school provides a range of courses
It’s a smaller campus so it only takes you 5 minutes to get to the other side of the campus which is really handy.
The university is very picturesque and has lots of study space and places to eat on campus. It’s got a really nice sense of community.
This university has a really beautiful campus and incredible library. The societies and clubs are very active and it would be great to have more societies for students from different countries e.g Arab society
The best place to improve your networking and social skills. The university has provided so many for the students, the lecturers are nice and you can find the best people to be friends with around Aberdeen.
The university is very nice. Lectures are well delivered. One of the best place of the campus is the Sir Duncan rice library which provides all the necessary for good revisions/ meetings etc.. the student union is fine as well. The facilities around are okay. The only issue migth be on the value of stuff. Because 3£ for a coffee is actually quite expensive especially in the library cafeteria. However, the food court at the Union is helpful. And will be even better with much more restaurants around if possible, cause lunch and breakfast are the most friendly activities done by students during uni. It’s mostly during lunch that we end up meeting people or enjoy mates company. Amenities ( sport centre, stadium etc.. ) and the soceities are very nice. Shutout to the AuSA who provides lots of activities as well.
The student union especially is brilliant, they really go out of their way to help you with whatever you need.
Good teaching staff with state-of-the-art research laboratories.
