It’s close to the university vet school. My room is also quite big. Everyone is friendly and the staff are very helpful. The washing machine’s are a bit expensive. I’m quite happy living here

Having decided to remain here on campus in CLV accommodation for 3 years now I would definitely say that I would recommend it to anyone considering. Management is on the ball with evey enquiry. The rooms are spacious and with the exception of some flats have lovely views. The campus is very accessible and sk convenient. I cannot fault the team at CLV

It's very hot in the flat and the windows don't open enough (but do in some rooms). The kitchen layout isn't great and there's not enough room for 6 people to cook at the same time in the kitchen (also gets way too hot). Tap doesn't go cold enough but goes very hot.

Good value for money, layout in the kitchen could be improved tho - if someone is leaving/entering the kitchen the fridge door can’t be opened as people will need to squish into the fridge for it to open at the same time.

Good, 36 week option is Amazing! However, it is so hot and window needs to open way more...also hot water splats out. Team fixes problems good quick. Also post notifications need improving got notifcation 2 days after it had arrived!!

Location is very pretty but trying to get anywhere is a nightmare without a car. The campus shop is tiny and opening hours are ridiculously short. It is also impossible to get healthy foods at the shop, everything is ready meals and it has nothing for dietary requirements like gluten intolerance. Social events are tiny and have no funding, so few people go. For example, the last res ex event was terrarium making and they had 10 jars for the entire campus so turned away many people from the activity. The gym is tiny and the same price for a David Ross sports membership for half the facilities and societies. Internet is very unreliable and usually drops completely at about half 10. Rooms are not clean, our kitchen has ants and we have only just moved in.

Never go here if you plan to study at Clifton and especially not in the city. It was a nightmare

Perfect for first year, would have liked a big common room for anyone to use
I was here for my Master's degree. I love the quiet and fresh air this place brings. Silent enough to study (if you keep your windows closed, we're near the airport after all). The standard ensuite room was quite spacious for me to store my things and the room was clean when I moved in but with bits missing and defaced here and there. Management team fixes things very quickly too and they're good at receiving mails. However, for the price paid, no cleaning team cleans the kitchen at all regularly. The kitchen was apalling for the first 9 months of staying here. It took only 2 people to ruin the whole kitchen with rotten food and flies. It would be impossible to get anyone to clean as they go or regularly in a flat of 5. Your privacy is nonexistence and the least of their concern. During room checks, they do not update empty rooms and filled rooms. And sometimes they do not knock. I have never felt so violated when they opened my room door AND bathroom door when i was showering naked
I really would not recommend coming to this campus; you will 100% not have a true university experience. I am a master's student, and spent my undergraduate at another university, and this campus is appalling. It is no exaggeration when people say it is in the middle of nowhere - because it really is. It's extremely isolating and nothing really in walking distance so social life is pretty poor. The 'bar' is a joke and the shop is only designed for unhealthy snacks and overpriced sandwiches. In terms of the halls, it is SO OVER PRICED. Location is shocking and you won't have a life at all. Cleaning is okay if you have a shared bathroom. We have no social or common space in this hall. Social experience - none existent. Internet is useless when everyone is on campus. Honestly, don't come here.
Nice accommodation in a lovely setting, but is very far away from anywhere! There is a shop on campus that does stock a good variety of essentials, but prices are slightly higher than I would want to pay all the time. You do have to rely on online deliveries. Common room is great but ideally there would be more! There are only 2! Wifi is a bit rubbish but there is always work going on to try and fix it so hopefully this will improve. When going for the part-catered option, the food is fine and there is always 4 meals to choose from each night so good options - however it isn't anything spectacular. Also watch out for the consistency of the custard - i learnt the hard way that it's a bad move to pour it straight all over your pudding before finding out it tastes like water :s There is a nice community feel on campus though, it's a nice place to be.
