Glassworks is a fantastic place to live in especially for overseas students as it offers range of events and social gatherings to chill, proper sanitation and maintenance all at economical pricing!!!! Staff takes so much efforts to make everyone residing feel at home by regularly engaging in cultural events and festivals. The staff especially Bill, Evie and sally (have only met them) are so friendly and kind. Moreover the safety of those living is not compromised.

Happy with the accommodation, the team have been helpful & kind when i first moved in. The accommodation is close to Northumbria university but slightly further to Newcastle university. I really enjoyed the welcome drinks event & met a lot of other students. I would recommend the Glassworks to anyone looking for a spacious room with good facilities & staff on hand to help.

Wonderful Management team. Very warm and welcoming. Good location with easy transportation access to anywhere.
I cannot speak highly enough of the accommodation and especially the staff - they are amazing - so friendly and always available to help or have a conversation with. The studio I have is well-equipped, quiet, safe and facilitates my studies. The location is perfect - close to artsy Ouseburn, the quayside, and only a very nice 20 minute walk to Newcastle University. Shops (Morrison's, Tesco, Sainsbury's) are close by, and it's only a 15 minute walk to shopping on Northumbria Street.
I so much enjoyed my time in the accommodation, made amazing friends , in a short time . The rooms are very big and nice so as comfy , the location is amazing because it’s in the heart of ouseburn which a pretty much student small town , management are so friendly and nice. I so recommend it
It’s been such a great experience living here for the past year. Sally, Kayleigh, Bill and all the other staff have been extremely helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to live in a safe space (there’s staff on site 24/7), with lots of social activities. There are also freebies (snacks, bottles, drinks etc) available for the residents every now and then, which is honestly a really nice perk. It is also close to both Northumbria and Newcastle Universities. Ouseburn is a lovely area to live in :)
I began living at the Glassworks later than most, so I ended up paying far more. Ultimately, the Glassworks is a fantastic accommodation with plenty of amenities and very friendly staff. The only real issues faced whilst living here were the issues with occasional rubbish pile up over the weekend (though in speaking to staff, this is on the rubbish collection company) and with the lift in my building being out for 2 months. Overall, communication is very good and the staff are always keen to say hello. A lovely place to live.
Lived in glassworks now for a few months after needing somewhere last minute to stay. I can’t fault the place, staff are so accommodating and nothing is ever to much. Staff are lovely, rooms are amazing. Wish I could stay longer.
Staff are pleasant, particularly the guy with black hair and glasses who comes to fix things and do inspections here and there. Lots of events are organised for students so great to meet new people. Lots of storage especially in the studio flats, however studio has a microwave oven combi instead of a full oven (there is a communal kitchen with a proper oven tho). Bit more expensive than some accommodation however for what your getting it is value for money. Only complaint is washing machines and tumble dryers are through circuit which is pretty pricey but thats a complaint about every student accommodation (never seen an accommodation thats not with circuit laundry). Definitely the nicest student accommodation I've stayed at during my course.
one of the most over priced accomdations ever- the events are for children and some of the staff are arrogant and place feels like its a concentration camp and studios are tiny and not much space between the rooms. place preys on wealthy international students whom will pay anything. true student glassworks worst true in the country. also had some fraud incidents here and bullying and both were got off free with no punishment .atrocious experience.
I currently live at True student Newcastle Glassworks and I am very satisfied. There are so many amazing events each month that are totally free to join and enjoy the best student time. The public area is always spotless and comfortable, there is free high-speed wifi in all buildings, the staffs are super friendly and supportive, etc.
The staff is lovely, friendly and very helpful. The rooms are quite nice and spacious. It's in a nice area (about 10 mins away from Northumbria University), and the accommodation is very secure. Some really cool activities are available and it's always so much fun! Quite expensive, but overall worth the price. I really enjoyed staying here!
Staff are very friendly and helpful. I had a wonderful experience living here for 2 years. Very sad to leave, thanks to everyone for the great memories!
