Overall it’s fab however lacks sitting space in our kitchen which can be frustrating when there is seven of us but the kitchen otherwise is great. Management is super tam is 10/10. Heating been a bit doge would love if we had a communal space to go to as everywhere else seems to have one where we could play pool/table tennis so on.

What tenancy length do I need?

What bills will my rent include?
If you are staying in university-run accommodation or private halls, your rent should include any utilities such as electricity, gas, water, and internet. Students are not required to pay council tax, however you may need to fill in an exemption form so make sure you check with your local council.
What is purpose-built student accommodation?
Purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) are residential buildings designed for students. They are often located close to campus, boast modern facilities, include all bills, and often have staff on site to assist residents.
Will my student accommodation be furnished?
Student accommodation is typically fully furnished. Your room should include at least a bed, clothes storage, desk and chair. You’ll likely need to bring things such as bedding and kitchen utensils, but we have a full list here of everything you’ll need.

love living here, coming from a lower class background it’s been an amazing experience meeting and living a wide variety of people from all different backgrounds and walks of life!
Balfour Flats is an ok place to stay, I have managed to make some of the greatest friends by staying in Balfour flats. It’s not good value for money at all. 1 grand a month practically for a bedroom and bathroom, and a kitchen to share with 6 others, it’s just not great.

The flat is located in the middle of the university campus, which is an advantage as all my lectures are less than a five-minute walk away. The rent offers decent value for money, and the exterior of the accommodation is always kept clean. The only negative aspects I have to mention are that the bathrooms are very small and that there are no social spaces in the accommodation to spend time with flatmates. If such spaces do exist, I apologise, but I was never made aware of them.
Great location and utilities, although a smaller property, it is made up for with good social areas.
It’s a great accommodation for meeting people but the water is very warm and the bathroom's flood when you turn the shower on. But overall I am loving it.
me and my flatmates love living here, there is 13 people on each floor and a door where u can walk across to see the other 6 or 7 people in the flat (2 kicthens on the ends of each floor) the kitchen is very spacious and has two hobs,ovens and sinks! which is very handy when everyone’s making dinner at the same time. the laundry room in on floor one of two so u don’t even have to leave the building which is such a luxury. the bins are just outside and the union and union shop is literally just across the street which is good for nights out at the union or grabbing a snack from the shop. as balfour flats are on campus it literally takes up to 10 minutes to get to the furthest side of campus so u can literally leave 5 minutes before classes. the ISE sports centre is also like a minute away! the only bad thing about balfour flats is the takeaway delivery people always seem to get lost lol. anyways 10/10 love balfour and dundee xx
