Yes they are extremely hot and there is no A/c just air blower. You need to invest in good fan to be able to live. Not to mention the serious bugs problem that come with it . Bugs even in your bed really gross and the management is not taking this problem seriously.

I found a silverfish in my room and reported it and they sorted it straight away with traps. It’s because your room is too moist. You can set your a/c on 100%

My son is in tower and the air con doesn't do a very good job. Its far too hot and despite raising this issue and others with concierge, nothing has been done to address the problems. Seems that once you're in you have to lump it.

What tenancy length do I need?
Some students choose to stay during the academic year, whilst others – particularly international students – require a tenancy that covers the entire year. You can also find student accommodation that is available for one or two terms, classified as a “short stay” on our search filters.
Should I stay in catered student accommodation?
This is totally up to you! Catered accommodation means you will be served meals at set times in a dining hall, and you’ll likely have access to fewer kitchen facilities than if you were to stay in self-catered accommodation.
What is a guarantor and do I need one?
A guarantor is a person who signs a contract to agree to pay your rent if you are unable to. Most university accommodation requires a guarantor, and this applies to both domestic and international students.
Will I need to pay a deposit on student accommodation?
Most likely, yes, you’ll need to pay a deposit. This will be refunded at the end of your stay as long as there is no damage to the room or property.
What bills will my rent include?
If you are staying in university-run accommodation or private halls, your rent should include any utilities such as electricity, gas, water, and internet. Students are not required to pay council tax, however you may need to fill in an exemption form so make sure you check with your local council.
What is purpose-built student accommodation?
Purpose-built student accommodation (PBSA) are residential buildings designed for students. They are often located close to campus, boast modern facilities, include all bills, and often have staff on site to assist residents.
Will my student accommodation be furnished?
Student accommodation is typically fully furnished. Your room should include at least a bed, clothes storage, desk and chair. You’ll likely need to bring things such as bedding and kitchen utensils, but we have a full list here of everything you’ll need.

I would say it is a good accomodation, but its just a bit expensive for what it should. However, that could be caused by my decision to stay in bronze Twodio (2 bed apartment). Staying in Gold Twodio seems much more reasonable with the price. Major setback, i would say is the absence of window. You got the mirror, you can get natural sunlight, but not the natural wind. So, you would need a fan to get a comfortable temperature. Though it is a mahor setback for me, surprisingly i could live without it. The facilities are really great as well. The staffs are really friendly. Love all of them. The gym? Its ok, but everyone could see you doing your workout though. I would prefer they cover it with sticker. But its good to have one.

The staff here make up for the missing stars. I would rebook if I had the basic necessity of fresh air in my room/kitchen. It doesn’t look important on paper but let’s be honest, it is. Emily and Connor are stars of the show, you get the best of both in there positions. The other staff are really helpful and the maintenance team are really quick to sort any issues. I like that I can watch football in the cinema room.

The flat is very well equipped. Events are held regularly to promote interaction between different neighbours. My favourite thing about the flat is the games room and the cinema. I used to book the cinema room with my flatmates and watch movies together. The maintenance of the flat is also very fast and any problems are solved the next day. The flat is also very close to the city centre, so it's very convenient to buy groceries and daily necessities. Overall, my experience has been very good. So far it has been very satisfying and enjoyable.

Overall it was all right. It is a bit far from the school, but very close to the city center, which makes daily shopping relatively convenient. However, I feel the price is still a bit high.

All in all not bad. The staff are incredibly helpful and the facilities are really nice so make sure to make the most of them. The rooms are pretty small but definitely manageable. But because of its location it's completely worth it.

The room is a good size and the bathroom ensuite is also great value for money. A lot of space to store items in room and shared kitchen area. When there has been any problems, the maintenance team have been happy to help and quick to respond to any issues reported. Staff are helpful in general.

It has been a great time at Tower where the city center, the grocery stores, the university, hospital, bus station, every place is less than a 10 minute walk. At the same time, this place has free gym access. I don't think an international student would need anything more than this!

All of the staff are lovely and treat the tenants with respect and kindness. The facility’s are clean and tidy there has been some issues with the front doors and one of the lifts don’t work but apart from that everything else has been up to standard
It will be excellent if the windows can be opened. Regular cleaning to the shared kitchen, say once per two week or a month will be better. Also a rubbish bin and cleaning utensils can be provided can help our daily cleaning in the shared kitchen.

o start off my room is the " platinum studio " so views are based off that. The room is super spacious and a comfortable temperature ( floor 0 i should also add that i have a high end gaming pc running constantly which does increase the temperature of the room somewhat ). staff are super friendly, internet is amazing and has unlimited devices. ( averages between 800-900 down on LAN ) and 500 ish down on WIFI. The location is great, bus stops for coming to and from University are right next to the accommodation and shops very close by. In my experience maintenance issues are uncommon and are sorted almost instantly ( had an issue with heater and it was fixed within 4 hours ). Electronic lock system is secure and works well, its nice to have a wristband as a key as its basically impossible to loose, price is high but fair for what you get. General areas are clean and room was when I arrived, also there is really good water pressure which is nice. would definitely recommend

It has been good so far, but I would recommend to have more social activities and fun. Moreover, the laundry is really terrible! I personally always face problems with those machines, and they smell really bad. They’ aren’t cleaned or looked after by the operating company.

Majority of student accommodation in Bristol is very outdated and old, but Tower is so modern and stylish. I have enjoyed having the cinema room as I don’t socialise a lot so it’s nice to stay in and have something to do. Staff are accommodating and make you feel at home

Windows should be able to open and price should lower a little.
Honestly.. it’s a great building if you want commodity of city centre. Everything is just few steps away. The building is pretty nice. Rooms are of decent size and all rooms come with en-suite bathroom. Rooms are small but well organized so you can have plenty of room for everything. Only downside is that the windows don’t open. Other than that it’s a good place to live.

The location is convenient for shopping and socialising. However, the actual accommodation is far too expensive for students and it’s apparently increasing next year. Rent is not far off London prices, and most students pay the same price considering all rooms are different sizes. You could be in a much smaller room and be paying the same price as someone in a bigger room. Windows don’t open ANYWHERE, instead it’s an airflow system. Which can feel very claustrophobic - not to mention the heat in warmer months which leads to most students going home for some fresh air. Management is friendly and fairly good at sorting issues quickly. Long tenancy contract, starting in September and finishing in August, which can become very expensive if you are looking to move into your 2nd/3rd year house with friends in June/July. The almost ‘luxury’ living they portray on their website is very misleading, definitely think there are cheaper accommodations in Bristol that are better value for money.

Although this accommodation is expensive, its features are very good, such as a gym, a study, relax area on which you can hangout with friends. For the price it is worth it imo.

I moved into Tower in last September. The biggest problem is that the windows in the rooms don't open and room smell musty, but I really like living here because of the friendly receptionists and the great facilities, including the gym. Recommendable!

The windows in my room don’t open at all which was a shock for me when I first moved in. I struggled to breathe and felt there was not enough oxygen in my room. This has improved a little but the air quality is still not good enough and hope I don’t develop any health issues because of it due to the lack of adequate oxygen. There are bugs in the room that I had never seen or encountered till I moved to tower that they have not been able to exterminate. There is no oven in the kitchen and they don’t provide any appliances like a kettle or toaster. There are two lifts but one of them isn’t working half the time. There is not enough equipment in the gym. The games room only has one pool cue for the pool table for the whole building. The room was very dirty when I checked in and they don’t provide any brooms or mops for cleaning. They have vacuums but only 3 for the entire building which has 480 something rooms. All things considered it’s expensive and not worth the money I pay for rent.

Very nice location and building looks very nice on inside and out. A lot of issues though. There is very little air con and instead used air recycling and was very uncomfortable to sleep in the heat. Windows cannot be opened at all so that is a major issue. In the linked studio we were in we had no oven, just a microwave. For what we are paying for its not worth it even for the location. However nonetheless it was a great experience for the first year of my course and it was a pleasure to stay.

One of the worst places I have ever stayed, the management team are useless and rude. The maintenance team and reception are really nice great people and helpful. However, management has ruined my whole experience. I would not recommend this place to any other student, the cost for what you get, an air conned room which is either too cold or too hot, there is no in-between. The rooms are not well sound proof, if you live close to social areas all you will experience is loud music in the evening caused by night staff. While I do admit there are some great things about the building; wi-fi (really fast most of the time) and the modern style. Most of the building and rooms are impractical with little amounts of storage space for anything. But once again my most pressing point not to recommend this place is the management team, they impede maintenance getting jobs done by requiring long waits on orders to solve problems.
Tower is not worth it at all! They gave me and my flatmate a small kitchen with a tiny fridge with a small freezer. First day in my room, my shower drain was clogged and it took them a month to finally to send someone to fix it up for me! The windows do not open, the filter brings a lot of dust. The walls weren’t repainted from the past renter. Oh did I mention that the reception don’t listen to you?! They pretend to write down your concerns then let you go wait like a fool! I’m not planning to stay here next year and not going to recommend it to anyone.
Living at fusion towers is amazing. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The social spaces are clean for such a big apartment block. Sometimes you have to wait for a washing machine or dryer when it gets busy there, but if you do your washing at off peak times there’s no problem. Some people have a problem that you can’t open the windows but for me it doesn’t really affect me too much because the ventilation seems to do a good enough job for me. I couldn’t have asked to be in a better location as the bus stops are right outside the building (I go to UWE) and being able to get on at Broadmead instead of everyone getting on at Cabot circus takes a little less worry off making sure I can get to uni on time. I would have loved to stay here next year but I didn’t realise how quickly this place was going to get booked up. Last year, I booked my room in February and now this year all the rooms seem to have gone in a month.
